I had dinner at Briciole a few times before and it has always been great. Went on a Sunday lunch time and it was very different, the food was not as nice: we chose lasagna and it was very dry. We chose a salad as starter and even that was dry, hardly any olive oil with bread…. Very disappointing…

•Surprisingly non child-friendly restaurant. Every time I was trying to walk around with my 1-year old baby, who apparently could not seat still, I was being scolded by the manager for obstructing the waiters. • I believe they should let us know in advance before we need to leave the table, which did not happen in our case. When we were about to order the desert, the waiter informed us that we could not, as we should leave the table. (Quite unfair when the bill is already £180). • While we were paying the bill the manager came twice to highlight to the waiter that he only had two minutes until the table was available and clean.

The food here is sooo good. The sea bream was cooked to perfection the pastas are made with best ingredients. The highlight is the braised ox cheek. It creates an event in your mouth.

Booked a table for two for a date for a three course meal and I am overall disappointed based on the 3 points below. 1. The service was rushed! Our main course came out while we were still on starters. And when we ordered desserts we were asked to settle the bill although the food wasn't served so that the waitress who didn't even attend our table could finish her shift. 2. The food was just café standard. Nothing special! I ordered a meatball dish and what I got was 3meatballs which was too salty with tomato sauce in a bowl, I was expecting some spaghetti with it. £17 this cost. The calamari for starters were just deep-fried with a side of salad. My guest didn't finish all of her soup, and I am not surprised. Dessert were ok. 3. I reserved a table next to the window only to find out that you cannot see the view outside due to the tainted window at eye level,which defies the whole point. No, I Will not recommend my friends.
