Brick Lane Brasserie
great place to eat and very friendly and helpful staff too. We finished all of the dishes we ordered and were pleased with all of them!
Great tasting food.
Really fun night with my colleagues. Food did take a bit of time to arrive but to be fair, we were a group of 20+. Once it came, very tasty. General thumbs up all round.
Amazing food here, place was heaving due probably to the banner outside stating they were voted best restaurant 2017, plus bloke outside obviously giving good discounts to passers by. We had minted lamb and makani- both delicious and the Nan and bhaji were also top notch.
I’m not sure, but because we booked before 7pm thought there was a discount? We didn’t get one, but to be honest, the food was so good and prices are too, so didn’t question it as wasn’t sure.
Overall- amazing and best curry we’ve tasted for ages.
I booked this as a treat for my Dad. We both love the food and the buzz of the restaurant. Charming waiters made the evening memorable.
Got a table quickly and managed to get a 20% discount as well as a free beer. The food was good, clean, freshly made, however the service was very slow. When I asked for another naan bread by the time it came my food was cold
Booked a large table for my birthday. It was absolutely fantastic and the staff looked after us so well. Thank you!!
Food is great! tasty, authentic and value for money. Service is average,- on a New Years Eve you would expect something extra. Worth a visit though,- but there are many restaurant on Brick Lane serving great Bangla/Indian food.
Excellent dining experience. We stumbled across this restaurant and have been back several times. Very friendly and informative staff and superb food. I would not hesitate to recommend this curry house to anyone. individual style curries and relaxed environment. cant wait to return!
Good service new fish dish which was excellent 😀 Great deal through open table 30% off food.
I had a six o clock booking with two friends and although we were late and the restaurant was busy I have to give it top marks for service, food, ambiance and value . The service was excellent without being too pushy with very friendly helpful waiters......I will go again.....m
Had a meal for a large group (9) on a Saturday night. The food was excellent and the service was good too. Hard to tell all these places apart when you're walking up and down the street. I looked for good food reviews beforehand and picked this place and it lived up to its reviews. Would recommend!
Brick Lane Brasserie was good value for money with the 50% discount. Otherwise the prices are on the high side. Chutney was 75p per person to go with your papadum also at 75p person. These are not subject to the 50% discount. A small cup of tea or coffee costs £2.95.
The food was tasty and the staff was helpful and friendly
second time I have been and the food is plentiful and typical Brick Lane, nice to see so many people having lunch on a Monday.
The food was very nice, and very cheap, however it took 40 minutes to arrive, out glasses of water took 15 minutes to arrive despite sitting next to the bar and we had to continually ask to be refilled with water.
Though the restaurant was busy, many other restaurants still manage to provide a decent level of service
But since we had booked through Toptable they honored our reservation and gave us a table even though half of my party didn't arrive until 45 mins later. Very good service, nice meal, and very good value with the 50% off offer.
It was nice but no real difference from most other Indian meals I have had in the UK. No where near the same level as the likes of Cinnamon Spice, but the value is very good and the food was enjoyable albeit won't set the world on fire.
Its easy to see why this is the busiest restaurant on Brick Lane and why it gets repeat business... Service Excellent and the food 1st class.. Our first time there but will certainly become one of there repeat business customers......Indian food as it should be...
Had to wait for about 5 minutes for our table when we got there because it was really busy, and were immediately given a free beer on the house to apologize for the wait. The food was really good and is great value for money with the 50% off option. Service was quick & reliable.
There was a family group of 8 I had booked through open table on the 50% off offer. We were expected and given a slightly cramped table by the door. The service was prompt and not overbearing friendly guys , this was a very busy restaurant with them touting outside too, to bring in more customers this was fairly early on a Saturday. The food orders arrived at the same time all the food was sizzling hot and tasty and everyone enjoyed their food. What more can you ask , this is not fine dinning but a decent curry for a decent price especially with the 50%. Off the food bill. Thanks very much.
Very friendly staff; accomodating for elderly grandmother by giving us a street-level table and holding her wheelchair in the back. The food was absolutely fantastic and with the 50% discount was great value for money. One of the best curries I have ever had
Typical Brick Lane restaurant, good value with the 50% off deal, the winner of Brick Lane Masterchef of the year 2014
