The corn fed spicy chicken was excellent and a lovely addition to the menu.
Great tasting dishes - I would definately recommend.
More vegetarian options please.
First time our guests had been to Brinkleys but it will not be their last.
Quick and efficient and good
On making the reservation I had not been informed there would be a special Father’s Day menu and not the usual brunch menu. As we had an early booking we had planned on brunch not a Sunday roast and unfortunately they were not willing to make any of the usual brunch options, so we chose to leave and eat elsewhere.
Lovely waitress who served us and was attentive and food was tasty but a little simple for the price. The biggest let down was the noise. Bad acoustics/lack of any cushioning. However, still quite a nice community ambience and would go back but perhaps sit outside or closer to the bar.
I've always loved this place - the food is good, the atmosphere relaxed and it's the ideal week-day or chilled weekend place. The bill can mount up a little quicker than one would like, so it's not necessarily an everyday treat.
Not the best meal I have had here. Burger was over cooked and the French fries were not great. I go fairly often and think it was one of those off days.
The food is good but the menu needs to change more often. It appears to have changed hardly at all over the past nine months. In SW17 branch it needs to change. On the general on line Brinkley’s menu there are things that don’t feature in SW17 branch. It is a shame as the food is well executed. Lack of change may cause us to seek other options
We love the Sunday roast beef lunch, the beef quality is excellent and very well cooked, the vegetables that accompany it are also excellent. We have eaten at Chez Bruce several times previously and I can honestly report that Brinkley’s Kitchen further up on Bellevue Road, SW17, is far superior in every respect. I strongly recommend it.
Lovely evening, delicious food and a favourite when I get a chance
Our visit was for Sunday lunch . The food was excellent and the staff were lovely. However the kitchen clearly struggle with a full house as we waited 45 minutes for starters. Things did pick up with the rest of the meal thankfully.
My favourite local restaurants- so perfect for family bdays, date night, evenings out with friends: Varied menu and great wine list. Brinkley’s never disappoints.
Consistently outstanding service and charm managed by an excellent manager. Always keen to please.
We have eaten many times at Brinkley’s kitchen in Wandsworth and have never had a thing to complain about, the food is excellent the service impeccable and we look forward to our next visit.
Always a great atmosphere at Brinkley’s Kitchen and staff always friendly and very efficient. Food was a bit disappointing this time, but usually good quality. Will be back though!
Absolutely delicious food and lovely servers. Will definitely recommend and visit again
Always enjoy dinner at Brinkleys a family favourite. Really friendly staff excellent service and reliably good food.
Very irritated that we couldn’t have the table we wanted... particularly as the table we were told we couldn’t have remained empty all evening. I go to Brinkley’s reasonably regularly to have dinner with a particular friend... we decided we would go elsewhere next time. Also I think young staff calling middle aged women darling is very annoying.
Our favourite local. The waiting staff are first class.
The menu online on open table is incorrect so we didn't get the meal we planned for. Their new menu is not vegetarian friendly or a healthy for vegetarian kids. It's an nice ambience but I wouldn't go back again
Brilliant food with outstanding service
Great restaurant. Amazing service friendly atmosphere great staff
Mother’s Day Luncheon
Mother’s Day lunch. Excellent steak and chips. Kids menu was good - both mine happy with burger and chips. Good wine selection.
Disappointing that they had curtailed the brunch menu to only 4 dishes given it was Motthering Dubday but without any prior notice of this. Several other guests overheard complaining about the same issue. Otherwise, food and service was fine
Brinkley's Kitchen always lives up to its reputation. The service, the attentiveness of the staff and the meal quality never wavers.
Keep it up!
Had a lovely early mothers day lunch on Saturday. Outstanding food and really lovely staff. Restaurant was busy and buzzy. Will definitely come again.
Always delivers! Great ambience (lovely low lighting), superb staff, varied menu and delicious food.
Always gorgeous. Have never had anything other than a lovely meal here.
Burger is second to none. I also highly recommend the fried brie.
This is one of my favourite lical restaurant.
Great food, good and affordable wine list and lovely service.
Food was v average but what was disappointing was that they forgot about our mains. We had to wait 40mins for our mains to arrive and when it did the roast potatoes on mine and my friend’s dish were hard - similar to the skin of jacket potatoes. Clearly they had been sitting out too long and were reheated too many times. Disappointing as this restaurant has good reviews but the decor and the food was v average. Plenty of other better restaurants in the area
Really impressed with Brinkley's. Highly recommended as good value for money.
I’ve been to Brinkley’s Kitchen many times
The food/service is always very good
Charming staff and good ambiance, all you could ask for.
A good place for what it is, local eatery for mostly 2 or 3 generation dining...
Everything is good
Friendly welcome, and staff were attentive but not intrusive. Need to amend the menu over time as it seems the same but that maybe is too picky (and maybe why people do like to revisit, they know what they're going to get).
