Great food. Great service. One of our favourite restaurants but just very expensive.
Awesome food and vibe. Our server was really friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back
nice ambiance. great service.
Have been to most of top restaurants in Toronto, this probably the one disappointed me the most.
I took a friend there for her birthday lunch, wait was a long time for food, my friend and I ordered the same pasta dish with clams, I took 2 bites of it, extremely salty, clams are already salty no need to vet due it with the salt. We waited a while because my friend and I complained how salt the pasta dish was. We ordered another pasta dish, which was decent, it’s the one with the egg on top, it was not too bad with the salt.
The overall was good
Noice very loud
Mixture of corporate suit biz card crowd meets a mish mash mix of modern decor millennials. Professional, attentive, attractive staff. Modern, sleek decor that plays it safe meets incredibly clean presentation re: the way food is plated. The salumi seafood sampler mixed platter offers variety & was beautifully done!
Perfect service, great food (we shared plates) great wine selection too.
Sensational at every single touch
Amazing as always !!
It’s too loud.
Wonderful food and wonderful service! Great place for birthday dinner!
Outstanding food, great service and attention to detail. The interior of the restaurant is also classy yet modern and welcoming. Can’t wait to go back.
Restaurant is too difficult to find. The noise level through the roof. Ambiance, non existent. Food mediocre at best. Pizza was great. Good wine list. Food way overpriced for what you get. I ordered black cod, smelly and bad then got risotto, got barely any food, charged $55. ( for rice). Would never recommend this place to anyone.
Excellent food & service. Serves as a great atmosphere to mix not only good food & drink, but also entertain a date.
We always love a dinner at Buca Yorkville! Excellent service, great cocktails, and delicious food- the bigoli is our favourite.
Great food and great service. All in all, a fabulous dining experience.
The best restaurant service in Toronto.
food, ambiance, service, location was great. Loved it.
We were at a center table and had a hard time hearing eachother so they graciously moved us to the front corner table where we proceeded to have the most divine (4) hr meal. Loved every sip and every bite! Our server was lovely and every cent was worth it.
We will be back!
Amazing pizzas. We had salad, pizzas, salad, and dessert. All of them are delicious. Will definitely come back to try other items
Food is really good but waiters need to come down to earth a little bit. Sorry but service must to improve. When you say to the waiter do not rush to the food and they bring out the 1st course before you finish ordering your meal you know something is wrong. Our waiter told us we must order the branzino ASAP cuz it takes 20 min to prepare. Sorry but the fish is served raw. You do not need 20 min to serve raw fish. Bottom line, this resto is more concerned about turning tables and selling higher margin foods then making the customer's experience pleasant. Sorry but this is my 2nd and last visit to Buca.
Terrific meal a real dining experience
We will definitely be back in the future
Great experience! The burrata pizza lives up to its hype. We also had the lobster pasta which was great too. The octopus and squid ink pasta was recommended and we thought it was ok. Probably won’t order that last one again. Our waiter was very kind and attentive. Overall very happy with the night!
We had a lovely dinner. Be back soon!
Food was not very good. Girlfriend didn't enjoy the food, we notified them, they replaced it with some basic salad. Yet they still charged us for the plate that we didn't eat. Manager never came by to check up on us or apologize, which is customary. The server was nice and professional though, it wasn't her fault.
Place was very noisy as well.
Parking is very expensive, staff had no idea about any of the details.
Never coming back or recommending this to anyone
Great food and service. Enjoyed and will return for more.
Congratulations to the team.
Unforgettable tasting memory.
The ambiance, and noise and the taking orders quick approach bothers a bit, but the food per se compensates it.
Best Pasta dishes in town! Had the Salumi de Mer taster (5 fish) which was quite a nice appetizer
A very loud place. We could not hear each other. The food was okay. The prices were high.
I can never get enough of the branzino crudo. Thanks to Gabriel for setting aside two orders of it, in advance.
They were the last two portions left by the time our reso came at 930pm, so I’m glad I called ahead to pre-order.
Great service from our waitress too.
Our favorite restaurant in Toronto
Seriously good food.
Seriously good service.
Excellent food and service but quite pricey
We had a great lunch on Saturday. These people know their way around fish. Raw oyster presentation was beautiful. Very classy and unusual. A raw whole fish branzino crudo was sliced table side next to ours. Looked spectacular but my feeling is that it is a dish to share with others, 4 people? Would love to try it. We had a scrambled egg dish with shaved summer truffles. Delicious and generous. We also split a flatbread pizza which was light and had nice flavors. We saw a pasta dish walk by that looked great. Switched another reservation for dinner Monday so we could go back. Not inexpensive but they know how to impress.
Great service, but so loud
We shared a salt and herb crusted fish which was delicious. However, $140 for 800 grams seems high, and it included nothing else.
Similarly, the Italian Rose we had was superb, but not at $100 per bottle.
After a very positive first experience at Buca several years ago, I was very disappointed this time around. Portions are tiny and the dishes are extremely expensive but lacking complexity and strong flavour. The burrata pizza was the best thing we got this time around, was very underwhelmed by the risotto (tiny portion, could only taste the saffron and hardly any other content), and the tonnarelli (hardly any flavour and minimal portion of octopus). The service was fine but nothing spectacular or friendly, which is what you'd expect for a meal of this price and reputation. Wine list was very restrictive. Overall there are much better restaurants to get real bold Italian flavour, real portions and a more welcoming experience.
Everything was wonderful. Couldn’t have been a better anniversary dinner.
