The noise level was very high, had to raise my voice in order to have conversation and we were just across the table. Waiting time for the server was a little too long. Food very tasty and well presented. Overall very good experience.

very small portions and food was just average for taste not worth the premium price. In fact earls restaurant had better tasting food.

My go-to place for quick service and quality food.

The noise level is always a minor distraction, but guess not much can be done about that.

Somewhat disappointed. The food was rather bland. My guests were not impressed with the quality of their meals. I had the tiramisu donut which had no flavour. For the price, I was not impressed and will not be returning with guests again. There are other restaurants which have better service and food for a lot less money.

Appropriately cozy - sound level and decor. Manager and staff are generous and purposefully available. Flavour and portion were very well fitting for a singular night out and Saturnight treat.

If you are in for a special occasion, and seeking to share a peaceful moment, 6 PM is a fine time to reserve. While still elegant Bymark was more upbeat a couple of hours later.

Be sure to find marrow, octopus and tartare rounding out the timely offerings. Though my team prefers a heartier cut tuber, the béarnaise and lobster demand a more delicate cut. So for comfy and smile inducing, make sure to enjoy the Lobster Poutine. It is a challenge to find one as good elsewhere. P. E. I tender loin was prepared precisely as ordered. Reach beyond the Cab Sauv for a curve. Pepper and grilling notes were very nicely complemented by the Argentine Malbec. Sides are shareable with a favourite being McEwan’s mushroom medley.

Excellent service from beginning to end! I’ve been going there for years, but this is my first review for them. They really take care of you and your guests. If you provide them with special requests, they put it in their system to make sure they don’t forget. All staff are fantastic and the food is great. They are very good about recommending but there is no pressure in any way. Very professionally run and all the staff are very service oriented from check in to service to the end. Highly recommend them to anyone who wants a great restaurant experience!

The cauliflower gratin was very creamy with no flavor. The potatoes had too much green in them and we didn't want to finish them. The waitress was friendly but seemed to forget about us. The tomahawk steak was not med rare. Some parts were rare. For a 250 dinner, I would not go back. I had a nice time but the food was not worth it.

We had a great meal! The Burrata and Figs was a standout for a starter. I had the Crispy Chicken Sandwich which was good. My co-worker had the Veal Schnitzel and it was huge, but he managed to eat it all.

Late lunch at Bymark is always a delight. This is also one of Marc McEwan’s beautiful restaurants. It’s been here as long as I can remember. And every table was taken. We had reservations.

Starting with an absolutely marvellous squash with a touch of ginger, cilantro, a few chilli peppers and a dash of tiny crumbles of bacon ... perfection in a soup. Linda had the ahi tuna, with papaya mango salad (she says OMG!), and I had the veal schnitzel with delightful house greens and a dash of some kind of incredible dressing. Insanely good! Our wine was a Blue Mountain (Okanagan) Pinot Gris we’ve never tried before. Perfect pairing for both of us!

Nice people. Forty minutes between finishing appetizers and arrival of main course. The halibut dried out, obviously kept warm while other entrees being prepared. Wine mark-up ridiculous. Stupendously expensive for what is offered up. You would get better value at the Keg.

service was good, but my waiter stirred me in the wrong direction in terms of dish choice. I asked if the carbonara was any good, which he said was pretty good. I found it to be HORRIBLE. The noodles were super soft like cup of noodle noodles. And the flavor was bland instead of rich. Very disappointed and the restaurant does not live up to the expectations of being created by a renowned chef.

The food was great and the ambience was formidable. however the service could be improved. I feel there was a long delay between the main course and the dessert. The two gents who attended to are table were very pleasant though. Overall, the experience met my expectations. Thanks

I've been to Bymark in the past, but only for lunch, and I was always impressed. This time i went for dinner with my wife and while we had a great meal, I was disappointed by the incredible speed at which we were served, even though the restaurant was barely half full. It seemed that only moments after we ordered, the appetizers appeared, which to me says they were merely reheated. Main course followed at the same pace. The only thing that took a while was the wine. Overall, it was still a great meal, I just wished it wasn't so rushed when there was no apparent reason.

Really enjoyed ourselves. Good service. Food was excellent although the halibut was a little overdone. The scallops were perfect and the crab cakes were some of the best we’ve had. Make sure you have the tiramisu donuts to finish...wow! It was a quiet night at the restaurant so the vibe was just right.
