We forgot to bring wine. The restaurant is BYOB. The waiter gave us a bottle. The portions were huge. We each brought more than half the dinners home with us. We tipped him very well. A great night.
I have never had a bad meal here.... ever. While the menu is great, their chef's are amenable to modifications or even Italian favorites. Must try this place, it's Little Italy in Hillsborough.
Neighborhood go to.....consistently good. Capellini Postono was delicious, and had a lot of lump crabmeat. Friend had the veal and portion was generous and very good. BYOB too!
The food was delicious and the service exceptional.
The food was perfect. Great for a group celebrating an occasion.
The food was great and the staff are courteous. The food came out earlier than expected. We finished them all. Love the BYOB too
Our entire party (some of whom are family who reside locally, others traveling all the way from Rhode Island, New York, Virginia, and even Scotland!) commented on how we were truly delighted with the whole experience: from the fact that this establishment is a BYOB (which we took full advantage of!), to the shared appetizers (cold antipasto and invotini di melenzane - the latter recommended by our trusted server for one of our vegetarian diners) and the mozzarella in carrozza chosen by another member of our party, as well as with our respective meals. The spacious room wherein we were seated, ended up being a private room we had to ourselves, which turned out to be an additional blessing as 2 members in our party have significant hearing impairments and to not have a cacophony of background noises to contend with made for a much more pleasant experience for all! Finally, while enjoying our yummy desserts, our server treated those of us who were interested to a round of complimentary limoncello... the veritable Italian icing on the cake of this culinary event!
Thank you, Graziella's, for a most enjoyable evening of great food, great ambiance, great service, and great memories for our family to reflect on... when in the area again, we will be back!
We had been to Cafe Graziella before this, and we were disappointed this time. It took a long time before waiter came to take our order, and a very long time to get our meals. In addition, the quality of the food was disappointing, my veal was dried out and tough, others in our party were not pleased with their meals, either.
Always enjoy the food, service and ambiance. Don’t be fooled by the exterior and strip mall location.
Food has gone downhill the past three times we’ve eaten here. Octopus was hard and inedible twice that evening.
Odd sauce and taste for crab cake appetizer. Veal was tender but both of us felt sick during the night after.
We find dependably good food here and like that it is BYOB. The bruschetta brought to the table is a summer delight! The regular bread basket is delicious as well. We started with clams casino, which were tasty. Dinner choices were a straw and hay fettuccini with shrimp in a creamy sauce...very good...but the special fra Diablo was better with linguini and a half lobster with baby clams. We were very pleased!
This place has been around for over 40-yrs (that's saying something for a restaurant). I found it as a drive-by in the 70s and have been going there ever since. The food quantity/quality is excellent and the service is outstanding. I really love this restaurant... it's our GoTo place.
Very average food for the price. They constantly run deals/coupons, so unless you’re using one, you’re paying entirely too much. It’s essentially fast casual Italian food. Food and service are not bad per se, but not memorable or special in anyway.
Always a pleasure to go to Cafe Graziella. Staff is friendly and efficient. Food is delicious. Love the bread! Everything is so good it is hard to choose from the menu...and then there are the specials...
They took the reservations and when we went there declared that they are closed now !! At 730!!
The restaurant has been going down slowly
Food quality and service is declining
Cafe Graziella continues to impress and never disappoints. Food, service, ambiance.. all fantastic. Very accommodating and service is really terrific. My whole family loves it and it is our go-to place for special occasions.
Amazing, homemade food. Nice selection and attentive staff. Made for a great dinner out.
Food is always good and fresh here. Nice menu and service was good. A little pricey but quality is high.
Excellent food, nice specials very reasonable rates and good service. Definitely would recommend.
Everything about this restaurant it’s wonderful. The staff is friendly and efficient And the food is superb.
Food and service always great!
Nice Italian dinner place for family, friends or more intimate relationships.
25 yr career service celebration
First time (in a while) at Cafe G... The menu looks the same, but the quality of the dishes is not quite up to what it used to be. My appetizer (Mozzarella in Carrozza) only remotely resembled the same dish I loved 10 years ago; very disappointing. My main course (Capellini Positano, my favorite pasta dish of all time) was dull compared to what it used to be, lacking crabmeat and (frankly) lacking the sizzle it used to have. It also arrived way too late, which can really let the wind out of your This version was... simply put, "tired". In fact, the (newer) owners (while well-intentioned) might do better to consider starting over with a brand new menu, playing on the strengths of the chef. Imitating the "old" Cafe G, in my opinion isn't working. I'm sure I'll get daggers from others (especially the regulars)... Hey, it's still a good Italian restaurant, but it's NOT the same as before... and in my opinion it's time to lose the legacy and cut your own path and style.
This used to be an awesome restaurant. I haven’t been in about 5 years. What happened? Portions were small and very overpriced. Veal shank with gnocchi $33.00 worth of fat. No one ever asked how the meal was and we had 3 different people serving us. So disappointed, my husband and I were so excited to go back and will not return.
Great food great service. Always a good choice for dinner
Made a reservation for Valentine’s Day. When we arrived at the reservation time there were probably 6 other couples waiting. Front person said there will be a few minute wait and didn’t take my name to confirm reservation. People continued coming in afterwards and also received the same response for their reservations.
After 20 minutes waiting a few of the couples left after being told they needed to be patient with no time estimate given for seating.
We finally were seated about 25 – 30 minutes past our reservation time when I said I was leaving also.
Food was very average. Lobster bisque was very thin, very salty but good flavor. Veal with 3 mushrooms was fair with a Marsala base. Veal parmigiana was typical very al dente pasta alongside.
Desert was chocolate mouse and a peanut butter cake thing. Both were warm and the mouse tasted like warm pudding. Ordered 2 coffees, only was brought 1. When we received our check I asked about the second coffee as I didn’t want to be charged and was told they would bring me one no charge, really…
We have been there many times. And will go back. The service on Valentines was horrible. We waited 1 hour and A15 minutes for are food.
It was nice to see the place packed on Valentine’s Day. We always have a good meal here and this might was no different. We had the lobster ravioli with a baby scallops sauce. If you’re looking for a very good Italian dinner this is the place to try.
Good food but very small portion of fish in my dish and pasta was undercooked. Need more lighting in restaurant and the mall it’s located in is deserted. Not sure why restaurant is still there.
Food was outstanding as always and service was great!
We love to go to Cafe Graziella. We have had many family parties here. They have one private room on the side and a large semi private room in the back. The food is exceptional. The waiters were not that friendly but service was alright for a busy Saturday night. We were a large group and everyone enjoyed the delicious food.
Great food, reasonably priced in a warm ad friendly atmosphere!
Great food! Great service! Great atmosphere! Would go back anytime.
Very welcoming atmosphere, owner friendly and checks in to make sure everything is good. Portions are huge. Chicken cutlet special stuffed with spinach, cheese and topped with lobster was excellent Capellini positano is one of our favorites. Nice touch from the owner to end the meal with complimentary limoncello. Our favorite neighborhood restaurant!
Likely an off night. Dinner was good but a little below the norm. Capellini Positono was less tomato and more oil, still tasty. Pasta special with lobster was disappointing too....dry and lobster was a bit off and bland. Service was very good. BYOB too. Been here many times and usually very good....will try again.
Always an outstanding meal. New Year’s Eve so service was stressed but as a longtime customer, still an enjoyable experience. One of the best kept secrets in our area.
Food was good not great.
Had special condensed holiday menu with higher prices
We dine here often and the food, service and atmosphere is always excellent.
Cafe Graziella...our "go to" restaurant for special occasions. Or anytime! We had my husband's 80th birthday dinner there in May. We just had a wonderful New Year's Eve dinner there and it's my choice for my birthday celebration later this month. Great Italian food. The osso buco is the best I've ever had. An outstanding restaurant. Never a disappointment. One observation...CG is not fast food. Be prepared to spend time savoring your meal. If you're looking for in and out dining, hit a pizzeria. CG is all about a leisurely dinner...another reason why we love it. You never feel rushed.
