Lovely food, nice busy, friendly atmosphere, great House red, you could spend a lot but the set menus are v good value.
Very good Italian food in reasonable size portions
On the evening that we dined there it was extremely busy which is usually good however the noise level was quite high and we struggled to have a decent conversation with our 2 guests
Also the AC was quite fierce and as a result our “candle” wouldn’t stay alight
Our friends enjoyed their first experience at Murano so a success
always attentive and friendly service, delicious food, fresh ingredients, cosy atmosphere
High noise level a negative. The wine we ordered was mediocre; the 1st course was fine and commendably hot when it arrived at table. Finished 1st course. Waited 15 minutes for the main course (plaice to be shared by 2) at which point the waiter brought the whole fish to the table to show us, then took it away to fillet it. We waited 12 minutes - nothing, no fish - finally asked a waiter what the delay was. 4 minutes later he returned with the fish. It was lukewarm tending on not warm; it had disintegrated into small pieces of mush. A pity as we were looking forward to trying this restaurant. Something went badly wrong.
Our favourite restaurant food and staff fantastic
Authentic food, a good wine list and excellent service.
Always good service and good food here.
Excellent venue. Second visit. Love the ambience, delicious flavoursome food and attentive service.
A nice location and good food. It is quite loud inside!
I have dined here twice before and was impressed however on this occasion was thoroughly disappointed. So right now I would not recommend to anyone else. I took an out of town foodie friend who thought the same.
The entree was ok - but had two minuscule portions of cheese so was not as described. The beef brisket was tough and drowned in a disproportionate amount of polenta.
I had booked yet we were sat at a round table in a constant draught from the front door so we were cold. I raised it with the waitress who checked the door was closed but it made no difference. The table was heavily scratched.
All in all a disappointing experience.
Fine, as always
Lovely evening at cafe Murano. Only marked it down on food as the main course for the gnocchi was quite small (especially compared to the chicken Milanese which was enormous!). But otherwise great food in a lovely atmosphere.
As always - great food, great service, friendly staff and a nice relaxed atmosphere.
The service was fab but the food was not as good as it used to be. Octopus carpaccio was just really DIRE! Such a shame.
Fantastic restaurant, can't fault it at all, loved it so much I booked twice in 2 months.
Cafe Murano delivers yet again. Wonderful Winter Menu displaying the best of the restaurant. Great Italian dishes that we all enjoyed and a very large and reasonable wines list. Service was attentive without being over fussy which is always the mark of a well run establishment. Recommended to one all
I recently enjoyed a casual dinner with a couple of friends at Cafe Murano. The food was well executed and well priced. The £2 single-scoop ice cream/gelato was a curiously pleasant surprise - often one wants a small dessert but most restaurants offer them only as another (full-priced) course. Aside from the table behind us having an extremely loud conversation, it was a very pleasant evening.
Excellent restaurant. Have been to Murano in Mayfair, which is also superb.
Good menu and service; ideal for a pre theatre meal
This is one of our favourite places to lunch in London. We haven't had a bad experience - the food is good, and the staff friendly and helpful.
Disorganised service, some of mains cold and had to be reheated. Mains arrived without sides and wine arrived after we started eating. We have eaten there many times but this time we found the food not good and service poor. Food was salty and for an Italian restaurant to serve cold pasta is pretty shameful.
Food was not up to the standard of our previous meals there.
We went for a family meal (adults). Excellent, friendly service. Lovely food (including cicchetti) . Great wine. A most enjoyable evening. Not cheap, but worth it.
The most beautiful pasta dishes, I look forward to returning and sampling more
Food and service excellent. Table was in a very busy walkway with waitrons constantly passing by to and from kitchen and not great.
It was lovely food and service. Gorgeous flavours and every dish on the menu
Exceptional service at the beginning but it appeared at the end of the meal everyone wanted to go home. I would understand if it was late but only 10pm on a Friday
Everyone hates to be rushed out
Lovely relaxed ambience. Food was stunning with attentive but descreet front of house staff. A very enjoyable experience indeed. Thank you.
Good food and service very helpful. I certainly recommend it.
Really lovely food with options of a set menu or a la carte. Also great choices for children - our 2 year old can be quite fussy and he loved his meal and tried ours too! The staff were friendly and very accommodating for our little one.
The server refused to recommend! Last time i was there they did a mix of pastas and some off menu stuff, this time, server flatly refused or was not knowledgeable about what is available. Food was generally good, one main was not so good, pumpkin tortellini was too sweet!
We really love this place. Can’t wait until next time.
Anniversaire de mon mari
Great find, friendly staff, great food, perfect!
I would recommend this really lovely restaurant. I have visited four times and it never lets me down.
The food is always interesting not fussy. The ambiance is welcoming and makes for a relaxing visit.
All in all my favourite restaurant.
Always great ambience and delicious food. What’s not to like. Great service too.
Cafe Murano consistently provides excellent food at a reasonable price served by the most wonderful charming people. We like the opportunity to have small portions of mains. Well done......
One of my favourite places for lunch anywhere. Great ambience, attentive service without being over the top, good selection of wine and an awesome menu - all at a reasonable (London) price.
I have been to Cafe Murano many many times and always enjoy it. Felt the food was a bit off pace this time. I had pumpkin risotto which was tepid. Service not quite as on point as usual.
Food was good and service was okay, What was disappointing is after an hour and 15 minutes we were rushed to leave as they needed the table for someone else! There was no mention of a designated timeslot or that they needed it back in the pre booking nor when we arrived.
