Good welcome. The restaurant felt a little on the cool side ( the radiator beside us was off) but improved slightly as it became busier.
We chose from the a la carte menu with 2 courses, two coffees, and a bottle of their less expensive wine and were around £180.00 in total.
We definitely enjoyed the meal, though I felt it was a little pricey for the quality. It would not have been difficult to push easily through the £100 a head level just by an extra course or a bottle of water.
In fairness, there is a "market menu" around £35.00 a head for 3 courses, but as there was no choice, it was not an option for us.
The question always is, " Would I return?" Yes I would as overall the service was warm, food tasty and I would probably tackle the market menu next time.
