We have been going to Cafe Troia for years and have never been disappointed. We loved our meal and everything about the evening. Looking forward to going back.

Delicious apps. Wide array of entrées, including duck magnet and a crab risotto, but delicious.

Party of 6 for my wife's birthday. Wine list was extensive, but not a big wine drinker. Wish there was a bit more drink selection on the bar.

Seated on arrival. Staff is fantastic. Waiter was perfect food was exceptional. Was lucky to get one of the few booths. Not a ton of ambiance but music was good. Bar looks nice, we will try sitting there next time we visit.

Most importantly, the food was fantastic as always!!
Covid is a strain but the quality remains.

The veal scallopini and potatoes were overcooked and the meat tasted a bit off. My wife and I enjoy dining at Cafe Troia, but I found the quality of the food to be lower than usual.

Service a little slower than usual.. Our wine was made with organic grapes, which was not noted in the description/comments for the wine. It was much too bitter for a Chianti.

Delicious Italian food and the menu has lots of variety!

Lovely evening for our special event. The staff is exceptional.

Food is always excellent and my favorite Lasagna is a menu staple. Outside dining is very pleasant. I go at least once or twice a month. You will love it too!

We were there for lunch. It was a beautiful day and were able to be seated on the back deck. Service was great and so was the food. We'll be back!

I can always count on Café Troia for a good experience and good food. The menu has an extensive list of options of all types and we had great service.

Fabulous as always. Food and service were superb. Outside covered seating was comfortable and made for a wonderful evening.

My wife and I have eaten here many times. Our evaluation is affected by the pandemic that exists now and the restrictions it puts on restaurants. This restaurant has always been excellent in the past. With that said:
My wife had the Beef Carpaccio....how can you screw that up except it's always too little.

I had the Grilled Calamari....tougher and harder to chew than in the past, but a very substantial portion....could be easily shared.

My wife had her favorite Braciole with Gnocchi.....good but not as good as in the past

I had The Vitello con funghi (veal with mushrooms)....a tougher than in the past but a very large portion. I swapped the "roasted potatoes" (which was served with everything...I had to wonder if the owners just bought stock in potatoes) for asparagus for an extra $4. Didn't like that especially because the asparagus was tough.

The desserts were good! My wife had her favorite Tiramisu, smaller than other restaurants, but good. I had the Lemon Napoleon which was VERY good.

The service, though, was excellent. Emilia W. was our waitress and was VERY good.

Overall, I believe any and all disappointments were because of the restrictions due to the virus.

Amazing service and food!!

Great food and great service! Dan was excellent. Outdoor dining at its best! The grilled octopus was fantastic and the lemon napoleon was a great finish to a perfect meal. We will definitely return.

Food was prepared and served to perfection. The bronzino entree was especially tasty and presented well Server was attentive and friendly.

Amazing food and atmosphere

We had gone to dinner to celebrate my birthday. The outside patio was beautiful albeit a bit hot (although the first seat was by a dumpster and there was an unpleasant smell). It was no problem to move our seats when we asked. The server was very helpful with making suggestions and attentive. My only disappointment was that she never acknowledged my birthday- even though my husband had added it as a note on the Open Table reservation. The food was outstanding! We will definitely be back.

Outdoor garden is beautiful. Staff is professional and courteous, all wore masks the whole time (during coronavirus). We felt safe and well cared for. Celebrated 20-yr anniversary and was happy to have this nice neighborhood option.

Father’s Day date

I took my boyfriend here for a Father’s Day and Birthday celebration and it was amazing. Everything from the service to the ambience to the drinks, apps and food. We will definitely be back soon!

Tables were very nicely spaced apart on the terrace, allowing us to enjoy our first date night out in months on a beautiful evening. We loved the semi-dried tomatoes with burrata and the asparagus ravioli. My son loved the leftovers so much that he is trying to recreate the ravioli at home. Service was excellent and they have a great wine line. We took home a bottle of their house-made limoncello.

Our first restaurant experience since COVID started! Something to celebrate! It was great!

Great outdoor dining space. Lovely and friendly staff. A Towson hidden gem! As a diner only once, I wasn't wowed by the food for the first time, but I don't have any specific complaints. I look forward to returning and trying it out again.

Visited for my girlfriend's birthday. Sat outside (as required per the Governor's Order and the Covid-19 emergency) and the ambience and patio were beautiful. Food was amazing and the service was superb. Will definitely be back.

Great food, just not a lot of it considering price.

Always a treat to come and enjoy the food and ambience of Cafe Troia. Everything is fresh and the flavors never disappoint. The servers are attentive in just the right way so you don't feel like they are hovering. It is the most requested place to eat in our family when considering a night off from cooking.

Truly a wonderful meal! I don’t know why I don’t visit more often!! Great drinks! I had the branzino and it was amazing.

On 2-22-2020, the food with the exception of dessert was AWFUL. I actually only ordered a salad since I am plant-based dieter and our server was hell bent of boasting about his being vegan and proceeded to instruct me on what I could eat and not eat from the menu. Go figure, I am a physician and certainly know what to consume as a plant-based dieter.

The salad was a double portion, yet I was served a bowl full of green and a sprinkling of toppings (I actually counted the apple slices and tomatoes). The raspberry vinaigrette was yellow in color and FLAVORLESS (I requested the salad not be dressed) Scrapped an entree and had the Blackberry Sorbet while my daughter enjoyed her full meal!

Comparison to my 1st time dining at Cafe Toria on T'giving Day and on 2-22..... a 1 STAR rating.
