We were and still are frequented by American and European theater and film actors, as well as politicians, directors, local New Yorkers and tourists from around the world. You will find many a Broadway cast and crew member hanging out after the show on any given night.
We recently had a facelift featuring enormous windows and a new color scheme.
The food while still classic bistro fare has expanded to include a variety of sandwiches, hamburgers and an extensive breakfast.
We have also added a selection of savory and sweet crepes to our dining choices.

Continues to be one of the best in delicious food, excellent service, warm atmosphere, and great value in the Theater District. I hope they do not change a thing!
Had a wonderful pre-show valentines dinner at Cafe Un Deux Trois. Kudos to server Michael and team for fabulous service and an entirely enjoyable experience.
Just okay; poor service. Tried to seat us twice next to service stations even though we had a reservation and the restaurant was not crowded. We were overcharged - billed for 5 meals when we were 4 people. Still trying to resolve this bill.
This was a fun place to celebrate a birthday and then head to the theater. Food came fast and service was friendly. Decor was nice. Food was just so so.
This has always been one of my theater district favorites!
Great for before theater. Steak frites - steak was perfectly cooked - fries could have been hotter.
Lovely meal... wonderful waiter... overall great experience
Very delicious brunch items & attentive service.
The maître d' Curtis was excellent - a great addition to a classic venue
Salads were good
Onion soup was disappointing
Mussels were bland
Great food and service. Staff ready to help guests enjoy their meal and get to Broadway show on time.
This is one of the BEST places to have a business or work related breakfast meeting. It is quiet, professional, and a GREAT value.
I love this place, but was disappointed this week. A few of us ordered the quiche which is usually amazing, but this time the pieces were substantially smaller than usual and overcooked. Our server was not very attentive and one person did not get their full order when lunch was served and we had to ask 2x before we got it. The food is typically very good and most enjoyed their meal. For the quiche, the value is not there anymore since the serving size was so small.
The food was good. The ambiance is also good. The service, however friendly, was fair at best. We had to remind the waiter several times about orders that were missed. The waiter reached across the table often to deliver/retrieve food or utensils despite plenty of space to access all points of the table.
Food was terrific and so was service. I would highly recommend this restaurant
We really enjoyed brunch here. The server was very attentive He explained all the different meals. The French toast was delicious. It was very close to our Broadway Show. It was my daughter’s birthday and the waiter made the day special. I will definitely recommend this restaurant.
One of my favorite places in NYC
Everything was wonderful. Just a bit crowded and loud in the beginning because it was between shows on Broadway. Food was incredible as always.
Overall very good. Attentive service. Food is a fusion of French and American. Personnel is also a fusion of Americans and surprisingly Mexicans and other Latinos. Very little french but an enjoyable experience.
Excellent choice for before or after theater. Both small or large plates available.
Celebrating our granddaughters 16th birthday. Everything was terrific! Our waiter, Michael, was very attentive but not intrusive in any way and was very helpful.
I lived in France & my escargots & poulet & frites were perfect
the food was delicious, decor and ambience charming, but most of all I was impressed with the service. from the friendly "bon soir" of the maitre'd when we walked in to the waiter who said we need not worry about getting to the theater on time, it was their job to hurry if need be, we felt very welcome and well taken care of. merci cafe un deux trois!
My friend was delayed in getting to the restaurateur as ten result of travel issues. The restaurant could not have been nicer. I was seated and the waiter was attentive and made sure that I had a drink and bread while I was waiting. It gave me a very nice feeling about the restaurant and returning.
The food was so so and overpriced. My Cosmo drink was good but overpriced at $16.
The service was very bad. The waiter must have been in training which is odd since it was a busy Wednesday night, pre-theater at 6 pm.
True NYC experience with a splash of France. Classy setting. If you want cold high gloss trendy then look elsewhere. If you want warm and classy original NY then this is it.
Cafe Un Deux Trois is our go to pre theater spot in Times Square. Always good food and service and very convenient for the theater district.
Perfect spot for pre or post theater dining. The menu is varied, the food is very good, the service is attuned to your need to make curtain time and the prices are very fair.
This is a venerable restaurant that has stood the test of time. The lunch prix fixe is a good value. Always a pleasant place to dine.
Good theater fare at reasonable prices. Soups were very good! Dessert a little disappointing....
Lots of menu choices for lunch and brunch, excellent food and service.
Disappointing, we are from south Florida were tourism is just as chaotic as here. However the service here is lousy and disorganized. Food subpar.
Our sever was terrible. Food was great.
For many years now, I have enjoyed my meals at Cafe Un Deux Trois. The food is very good and the staff is attentive. For a great, boozy, preshow dinner, you can't go wrong.
Have been here many times and had wonderful servers, food, etc. So I was very disappointed with this experience. Our server seemed to forget we were even there. It was almost impossible to get his attention. Despite his lack of interest, our food did get to us hot and was as good as usual.
Our favorite pre-theater restaurant, great ambiance, excellent service, reliable menu, what a great NY institution should be.
A party of six, and everyone thought their food was fantastic! Sort of unheard of in our group, LOL, there's usually/always someone who didn't like the food. Had appetizers, drinks and desserts too. Staff was friendly and helpful, from taking coats to recommending items on the menu. Will be back again. :)
Great location, good food, not overpriced, good service
Located just of time square, Cafe un Doux Trois may be our favorite restaurant spot in NYC. Amazing food in a quiet atmosphere.
