Cambio de Tercio
We also offer traditional Spanish tapas, but it is our Chef Alberto Criado’s creative dishes, what defines us and has given us our name.
Our award winning “wine list” contains the largest and more diverse selection of Spanish wines anywhere in London.
Within our renovated premises, you can now have dinner at our Chef’s table situated in our kitchen or enjoy one of our Spanish style Gin & Tonic at our “C.Tonic” Bar, with a large 80+ premium gin’s menu.
The Restaurant has gained many accolades during the years including the much coveted “ PREMIO ALIMENTOS DE ESPANA 2003- awarded by the Spanish Minister of Agriculture, Fishing and Food as “The Best Spanish Restaurant in any country outside Spain, 2003”
If you like great food, this restaurant is truly exquisite.
By far the best Spanish
contemporary Restaurant in London. I have been going for many years and I have been never disappointed!
Very enjoyable for us all
As always perfect food and very helpful staff
Great good and service and a nice table....but really expensive, have had better value elsewhere eg Salt Yard.
Cambio de Tercio was the perfect place for my husband and I to celebrate our 20th Anniversary during our 11 day trip to London. In fact we loved it so much, we ate there twice. The food was delicious. I especially recommend the Iberian ham and the croquettes. The atmosphere was romantic and it was so enjoyable to sit at a table that opened directly onto the lively South Kensington street. The staff was simply incredible. The server recommended a great bottle of wine and remembered exactly what I liked when we came back the last night of our trip. The man who greeted us sat us at a beautiful table both nights and gave us complimentary glasses of champagne at the end of our meal. Cambio de Tercio will be the first restaurant I book when we return to London!
Great food in a great location in Kensington, almost next door to the Drayton arms
Excellent food. Friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant seems to have about 3 or 4 places across the Brompton road, so lots of choice.
Been to all of them, and all very good
Great food, great wine and great table
A bit over priced. Food was good, about average
Good food,I have been there before, however overrated and the hot was unbearable-the air conditioning wasn’t working.
We left the restaurant in a rush without having any dessert because of this...
One of my favourite restaurants in London - fantastic new Spanish food, creatively prepared and outstandingly served. I dine here 8-10 times per year - high recommended.
Great service and excellent food. Very nice atmosphere
Best Tapas we've ever eaten. Beautiful restaurant. Not cheap - but worth every penny!
The ambience is really classy and special. The paintings have contributed to a more light-hearted and relaxed atmosphere with a humourous feeling . Food is superb in taste and wonderful in presentation. The attitude of the waiters are very friendly and helpful. Very good overall impression. Highly recommended restaurant.
Muy bueno !! Solo que la mesa muy en el fondo y un poco apretados
I have attended Cambio de Tercio several times and food is always delicious. Just wanted to point how nice and friendly was the staff. Always happy to come back.
Still the best food in London and some of the new dishes are outstanding particularly the Razor Clams and scallops
Lovely food and ambience. Maybe there could be a greater choice of wines by the glass and some slightly more exciting flavours. Great service and a lovely evening overall.
Outstanding, excellent menu, superb service, wonderful relaxed atmosphere. Great evening one of the best dining experiences, very friendly efficient staff. Up there with the very best.
Excellent. Second visit, love the food and atmosphere.
Great food and wine
Great atmosphere would recommend to friends
One of the best place in London for tapas and good wine.
Over priced , small portions restaurant with bad service !
Always a superb venue with traditional Spanish cuisine presented in an often unconventional but invariably spectacular fashion. This is as close as you can get to eating in Spain without crossing the Bay of Biscay.
Food was ok. Prices were ridiculous for what was served. Service was poor. Not a good experience.
Fantastic food and great service. The waiter recommended our tapas and all choices were delicious. Slow roasted tomatoes were certainty a highlight as was the pork and the tennis ball chocolates were amazing!!
Too much noise in the room
I looooved caramelized tomatoes!! I wanted to bring that back home!!
I can see why this Restaurant is so popular.
Great food and service ... perfect for delicious tapas and a nice glass of wine
Went to Cambio de Tercio twice while visiting London. They serve typical Spanish tapas, but elevated with some original twists. Loved the croquettes with ham and cheese, the jamón, the razor clams. Very nice waiters... a bit pricy, but it is S. Kensington. Will miss the place now that we're back in LA!
Love the Monday £5 corkage!
We all loved this restaurant. The food was delicious, the service great and the whole ambience made for a very enjoyable evening. Would definitely go back.
The food and service was amazing. Highly recommend it for special occasions as well as everyday dining!
The wine selection is outstanding. The croquetas with jamón where perfection.
I just love this place. Cambio de Tercio is the best Spanish restaurant outside Spain. If you never visit, please do! Thanks for a great evening.
Even though our reservation was for 11pm the staff were charming, very efficient and knowledgeable. The food amazing as is the encyclopaedic wine list. Great buzzy atmosphere , I wish I lived closer to go more often
Really top Spanish tapas - creative & delicious. Very attentive service & all round terrific experience.
Had a lovely dinner here - good food and great service.
Both food and service are amazing!!!
