Cambio de Tercio
We also offer traditional Spanish tapas, but it is our Chef Alberto Criado’s creative dishes, what defines us and has given us our name.
Our award winning “wine list” contains the largest and more diverse selection of Spanish wines anywhere in London.
Within our renovated premises, you can now have dinner at our Chef’s table situated in our kitchen or enjoy one of our Spanish style Gin & Tonic at our “C.Tonic” Bar, with a large 80+ premium gin’s menu.
The Restaurant has gained many accolades during the years including the much coveted “ PREMIO ALIMENTOS DE ESPANA 2003- awarded by the Spanish Minister of Agriculture, Fishing and Food as “The Best Spanish Restaurant in any country outside Spain, 2003”
Food was very good and also the service. At the end they charged 10gbp more on the card than on the receipt..I hope they refund me back the money.
Live on the coast and already planning when I can come back to London and come here specifically. Absolutely fantastic place. Hands down best tapas I've been to outside of Spain
Outstanding dining experience at Cambio de Tercio - so glad we decided to try this place. The food was really superb - every dish, and their wine list is magnificent. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I only regret that I do not live closer (visiting from the US) as this otherwise would for sure be a regular destination for me. I will definitely return.
Welcomed with very friendly and professional staff and the food were out within good time frame. Lovely food apart from the cold tortilla... Otherwise a great restaurant in the area!
Did not like the food. Flavours were nothing special. and extremely over priced. Service was ok. They have a nice gin menu with lots of gins.
Not for a quiet evening out. A culinary experience. Our waitress pushed us to over order and it resulted in a bit of waste.
A perfect way to while away Sunday. Better tapas than Sevilla . Fantastic service and amazing wine choice . Marvellosa
The four of us had a very good meal. The wine list is extensive and reasonably priced for the quality of the wines. Service was a bit rushed though - glasses refilled way too frequently and dishes yanked away before the last crumb is picked up. I understand they were making sure the table is available for the next seating but it did feel rather unnecessarily rushed, especially considering we were 25 minutes early for our reservation. The food is quite good though and the noise level ok. Would recommend.
Great tapas, good selection, efficient and friendly service. Extensive Spanish winelist
Always great.. food, warmth, friendliness
Great for a friday night with friends. The service is very good and the food is delicious and researched. On the expensive end as far as tapas go.
Thoroughly enjoyed it. They looked after us well and fed and watered us well. Will go there again.
Absolutely outstanding, lovely food, without doubt the best Spanish restaurant this side of London!!!
Average food, waiters continuously filling up the glasses, poor value for money.
My favourite Spanish Tapas Restaurant in London. It has consistently produced high quality dishes over a long period of time. That speaks for itself.
We have eaten here many times over the years and were very disappointed on our last visit .poor service a menu that did not deal with allergies service which again was slow a lack of allergy free food etc we will not be returning
Perfect place as always
Although food was good we felt rushed. It seemed a lot pricier than our last visit a year ago.
Great food a brilliant service. The staff managed my daughter's allergies with great attention and ease during the busy Sat night
Amazing as usual, great service, superb Spanish food and a great selection of Gin and wine, what else can you wish for? :)
I cannot say enough wonderful things about this restaurant. ❤️
A perfect experience from the moment you are greeted at the door. Impeccable, friendly, attentive service. Exquisite food (you MUST try the patatas bravas!). Our favorite dining experience in London so far!
Food amazing - service exceptional - wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommend!
Great lively neighborhood place. Highly recommend.
Food, ambience, friendliness, clientelle, service.. all wonderful
Simply spectacular. I love it
Came to the restaurant with a group of friends. The food is outstanding, cannot be faulted. The only thing with the service is that one of the menu that we ordered - the razor clams was forgotten, and we had to remind the waiter and a bottle of wine that we wanted was not available. We were recommended an alternative which was ok.
Nonetheless we had an excellent meal in a vibrant setting. Will come back again.
Wonderful dinner with a friend. Food was good and wine selection amazing. Would recommend this
Innovative and traditional both. Friendly staff who don’t mind it if you want to practise your Spanish with them while you’re ordering food. Lovely place. The lamb, the 8hr tomatoes, the Manchego cheesecake are my faves. Huuuuuge red wine list and a good white wine one too.
If you like great food, this restaurant is truly exquisite.
By far the best Spanish
contemporary Restaurant in London. I have been going for many years and I have been never disappointed!
Lovely evening with great food and excellent staff
Very enjoyable for us all
As always perfect food and very helpful staff
Great good and service and a nice table....but really expensive, have had better value elsewhere eg Salt Yard.
Cambio de Tercio was the perfect place for my husband and I to celebrate our 20th Anniversary during our 11 day trip to London. In fact we loved it so much, we ate there twice. The food was delicious. I especially recommend the Iberian ham and the croquettes. The atmosphere was romantic and it was so enjoyable to sit at a table that opened directly onto the lively South Kensington street. The staff was simply incredible. The server recommended a great bottle of wine and remembered exactly what I liked when we came back the last night of our trip. The man who greeted us sat us at a beautiful table both nights and gave us complimentary glasses of champagne at the end of our meal. Cambio de Tercio will be the first restaurant I book when we return to London!
Great food in a great location in Kensington, almost next door to the Drayton arms
Excellent food. Friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant seems to have about 3 or 4 places across the Brompton road, so lots of choice.
Been to all of them, and all very good
Great food, great wine and great table
A bit over priced. Food was good, about average
Good food,I have been there before, however overrated and the hot was unbearable-the air conditioning wasn’t working.
We left the restaurant in a rush without having any dessert because of this...
