Cambio de Tercio
We also offer traditional Spanish tapas, but it is our Chef Alberto Criado’s creative dishes, what defines us and has given us our name.
Our award winning “wine list” contains the largest and more diverse selection of Spanish wines anywhere in London.
Within our renovated premises, you can now have dinner at our Chef’s table situated in our kitchen or enjoy one of our Spanish style Gin & Tonic at our “C.Tonic” Bar, with a large 80+ premium gin’s menu.
The Restaurant has gained many accolades during the years including the much coveted “ PREMIO ALIMENTOS DE ESPANA 2003- awarded by the Spanish Minister of Agriculture, Fishing and Food as “The Best Spanish Restaurant in any country outside Spain, 2003”

Fantastic food, friendly staff and great ambience. Our favorite restaurant in London
A difficult review to do, very mixed. Attentive and friendly service but somewhat pushy. Some dishes good, others ordinary (pulpo especially), dishes and wine rather pricey. Seems like management is driving the staff to rush diners. Overall, not quite worth the expense - in common with a number of other London restaurants that have got ahead of themselves.
We received such a warm welcome and all the staff are charming. There is a wonderful sherry list which sits very comfortably beside the delicious tapas menu. We had the filet of sea bass cooked to perfection and an ox tail that was succulent and so tasty; even the carrots had the most delicious almond based sauce; we have yet to discover the secret ingredient to that! Oh and don't miss out on the croquettes either.
No room for pudding after this.
We will definitely return
Service is awesome. Each course is handled by individual chefs who would introduce the dishes right at your table. Staffs are friendly and attentive. Food is awesome. Restaurant suits both couples and groups. One of the finest dining experience in London!
Very small portions for the price but the taste was very nice
This was our second time in Cambio de Tercio and once again we left very happy with the experience. The team is outstanding in catering to all your needs and their interpretation of the Spanish tapas does not cease to amaze me. The food is exquisitely prepared and the wine list is well worth the meal.
We will definitively go back to try all the tapas!
Tutto, come sempre, perfetto
Grande cortesia e competenza del personale
Food is good but we hv the feeling that they are rushing us, we were given the bill without us asking for it.
Food was okay, felt a bit rushed for a saturday lunchtime it really wasn't busy, wouldn't go again
Ottima location cibo molto buono
There isn’t a more authentic Spanish Restaurant with a modern twist in London. Consistently high quality food ever since it first opened over 20 years ago.
As ever a new take on classic tapas. We enjoyed the 8 hour slow cooked tomatoes and the new take on potatas bravas.
Cambio would have received 5 stars if not for the fact that the portions need to be a little bigger for the price!
Excellente y authentico the best Spanish restaurant since Bar Madrid in the 90s. Food and service well about par and the creativity on taking classic Spanish dishes to a new level was amazing.
Our favourite local restaurant!
Our first trip to this restaurant left us wanting to come back and we will within the next two weeks. Excellent food. Lots of choice. Lots of wonderful tastes. Very welcoming environment.
Awesome food, service and atmosphere

We loved the food, quality and service but felt very rushed
Love this place... and everyone I take here (and its sister restaurant) loves it too!
excellent food and vibrant atmosphere. my wife and I had a wonderful evening.
Been to this establishment several times and it never disappoints. Food and service excellent.
Everything was fine. We had the octopus for an appetizer and it was sensational.
My only negative was that the waitress wanted us to order all the dishes at once. We asked her to space the dishes but they all came out right away- faster than we could digest them. Nevertheless the food is terrific.
We were asked to vacate our table of 3 after 70 minutes without any warning as the owner wanted to sell it to the next guests. Very rude, and we won’t return anytime soon.
The waiters who assisted us were really lovely however the manager was horrible. Although we did not finished with our main courses he came to tell us that we needed to leave as our 2 hours for the table were over!! Ridiculous and non sense. Very noise place no suitable for work dinners. Not very organised bringing the tapas and it took too long.
Lovely ambience, great staff and orgasmic food to enjoy
excellent quality of food, nice service but noisy and crowdy environment. we were almost sharing with the neat table
Lovely food but when we asked to take service off (due to some food being off and drinks not being brought) we were told that we needed to pay at the bar on the way out as we were costing the restaurant money by sitting at our table.
By far the best tapas restaurant I’ve been to in London and also in my top five restaurants in London in general. Extremely delicious food, lovely staff, great ambience. My family and I were very impressed. We had a brilliant experience.
We celebrated my husband's birthday here. The restaurant is lively and the food was quite good. However, I felt rushed. We asked that the dishes come slowly as they are tapas, but it was more like one right after the other. Still, I would recommend this restaurant as the ambiance is excellent and the waiters attentive.
Great food, service and atmosphere. Our favorite restaurant in London!
The tapas plates were varied and all were delicious; comparable to what you would find in Barcelona or Madrid. Friendly service from the entire staff. Very pleasant neighborhood vibe. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Highly recommended.
Another wonderful evening of spectacular food in a beautiful place with the best staff in London. Thank you to Paco and his team for taking care of us. My Australian friend loved the 8 hours roasted tomatoes, the carrots in macadamia pesto and of course the delicious patatas bravas. It is the only place I can get real Torrija too, perfection.
Love this place, high standard doesn't change throughout the years, delicious food, great service!
Lovely atmosphere, attentive waiter, amazing Patatas Bravas
Great tapas place, amazing ambience and very attentive staff. The place is adorned with great art that I can't stare enough at. Highly recommend!
Good Spanish food and good service, but overpriced. Very large wines from Spain selection, again overpriced. The place itself and the decoration is not charming at all.
The tapas was exquisite, beautifully presented and delicious!
We were a large group. The staff were very accommodating. They made excellent suggestions regarding the food. We had a lovely experience!
