About Cambio de Tercio
Cambio de Tercio is the signature Restaurant of Cambio De Tercio Restaurant Group, located in the heart of Chelsea- South Kensington. It was open in June, 1995 and is a pioneer in offering modern and innovative Spanish cuisine in London.
We also offer traditional Spanish tapas, but it is our Chef Alberto Criado’s creative dishes, what defines us and has given us our name.
Our award winning “wine list” contains the largest and more diverse selection of Spanish wines anywhere in London.
Within our renovated premises, you can now have dinner at our Chef’s table situated in our kitchen or enjoy one of our Spanish style Gin & Tonic at our “C.Tonic” Bar, with a large 80+ premium gin’s menu.
The Restaurant has gained many accolades during the years including the much coveted “ PREMIO ALIMENTOS DE ESPANA 2003- awarded by the Spanish Minister of Agriculture, Fishing and Food as “The Best Spanish Restaurant in any country outside Spain, 2003”

Cambio de Tercio Ratings and Reviews
Always a delight to eat at this beautiful restaurant, exceptional food, wonderful service from Abel, Paco and the team, plus they have my favourite Cava Tuve Y Camps. Highly recommend the Patatas Brava, Octopus in cauliflower puree, the amazing fake tomato cod brandade and the Torrija for dessert was truly divine.
This is a gem: creative tapas that are complex, flavorful and original; vegetarian, seafood and carne. An excellent Spanish wine list and a full bar with cocktail specials. The room is loud, friendly, happy, beautifully decorated with outrageous & modern Spanish impressionist art, and the entire experience is utterly joyful and delicious. Get in here!
Dined here first week of October. Hadn't been for about a year as there is a ton of competition in Vancouver these days for higher end dining (can you spell 'HAWKSWORTH'?). Food is still excellent. The service was truly awful. We were a medium sized party of senior business people who regularly eat in high end restaurants all over the world. The staff were AWOL for most of the evening. When they did show up, we were made to feel as if they were doing us a favour simply by serving us. Get real people....yes, it is Bluewater, but you won't keep your reputation for long with that kind of attitude.
In a word this place is Fantastic! Our first time there and we will definitely return. The food was excellent and the service superb! It was a little pricey but we probably ordered too much. If you are a foodie and enjoy great service then this is the place. Loved it!
Found this by doing a search for the local area and saw some good reviews, the place was very well presented and the hosts were very attentive.
Great recommendations on wine/food and the atmosphere was great.
It also happened to be frequented with celebs judging by their wall which had white plates signed by them.
This place was perfect for my evening and I will be going again.
Cambio de Tercio is Spanish/Spanish inspired food of an inventiveness and refinement you would be very hard pressed to find in Spain. The service is attentive and cheerful, the ambiance reflecting the content and happy mood of a satist´fied crowd.
Really great food, nice atmosphere and special place. Cant fault the service nor the food. However you cant accuse the place of value for money. GBP 170 for a dinner for two on a Monday evening with only 2 glases of wine each is not inviting you to come back on a regular basis.
