Cambio de Tercio
We also offer traditional Spanish tapas, but it is our Chef Alberto Criado’s creative dishes, what defines us and has given us our name.
Our award winning “wine list” contains the largest and more diverse selection of Spanish wines anywhere in London.
Within our renovated premises, you can now have dinner at our Chef’s table situated in our kitchen or enjoy one of our Spanish style Gin & Tonic at our “C.Tonic” Bar, with a large 80+ premium gin’s menu.

Best Spanish restaurant in London
Food was great as always. Wait staff was a bit unfriendly - maybe new.
Food just gets better each time, well run restaurant
Great experience and food
Very good restaurant, the price-quality could improve.
Staff was very friendly, but despite having a reservation, we were not seated until 45 minutes later. We had an engagement after dinner which we had to miss because of this...
Had not been here for a few years after being a regular, it is still as good as i remember, attentive staff and delicious tapas.
Cambio di Tercio is by far the best Spanish restaurant in London. Simple tapas dishes like boquerones and patatas bravas are made memorable and baby octopus or pork dishes are cooked to perfection. Service is calm and efficient even as crowds build up. And the wine list has exceptional examples of Priorst and Ribera del Duero.
Fantastic food and service
As always, great food and wonderful attentive staff.
Full and buzzing - our favourite local restaurant.
Lovely meal, ox cheek and croquettes were amazing
We stayed in South Kensington and this place was right around the corner from our VRBO rental. It was absolutely so delicious that not only did we go on our second night in town but we also went back for our last dinner before heading back to the states. The food was fabulous. The tapas worked out great for us because we had my mother with us on our trip. She does not eat a whole lot in any one sitting so it allowed her to eat as little or as much as she wanted to while not having to split with anyone or waste food by ordering her own meal. The wine list is long. We had a mixture of the following plates between both of the nights we ate there: Iberico Ham Croquettes (my favorite), Spanish Baby Anchovies (not my thing but mom and husband loved them), Spicy Patatas Gravas, Spanish Omelette with Black Truffel, Galician Padron Peppers, the Lamb Cutletts ,the Pluma Iberica, and the Garlic and Chili Prawns. Definitely a good find.
Perfect Spanish place after all these years. Always a joy to go back and see the team at its best
A favourite place for a long family lunch or diner with a great range of Spanish wine. Their allergen menu along with knowledgeable and friendly staff removes a lot of worries when taking guests with allergies. Front of house orchestrates a great time for all.
Se come mejor que en España....................,.,.,
Brilliant food and service!
We found this gem whilst coasting the internet for somewhere to eat on our last day of holiday - it was certainly the foodie highlight of our trip. Also a big hit with our 9 year-old ("best dinner ever!")
Brilliant. Delicious. Great atmosphere. Yum.
Good service, friendly people and good food
Exceptionally good 'fine dining' Tapas. Very good service and a lovely quirky setting - some 'interesting' art
One minor complaint was the proximity of the door meant it occasionally involved a slight draft when new guests arrived
The staff were very attentive, but not overly so. The food was a real pleasure - especially the croquettes
This is not 'big scoff' but the tasting menu, for the quality and content, was very good value and more than sufficient for a full meal
Fantastic food, atmosphere and ambience but the service was a bit intense. The staff didn't have much patience for any questions (or bad but well meaning attempts at pronunciation) and also took to shooing us out before time, which soured the mood a little for me personally. But nonetheless a great spot for authentic and delicious Spanish food. Truly wonderful ambience (lively, vibrant and noisy - not really a place for whispering sweet nothings to your sweetheart) and there was a delicious Volver on offer for a reasonable price too. Would recommend.
Un petit restau à tapas plein de charme. Cuisine savoureuse.
The food was exquisite and the service was the best we have ever had!
The best Spanish restaurant I’ve found in London and will definitely be returning
We absolutely love this place!
Everyone is super welcoming and food is brilliant. Fun to share small dishes with friends and family alike!
Delicious food, friendly and professional staff and a great atmosphere. You can’t be wrong going there for any excuse :)
Great food and ambiance, we both loved it! A cut above most tapas by a good margin
Wonderful Spanish food - proper Spanish ingredients, great fish, veg and rhubarb tart to die for
Authentic Spanish food (certified by a Spaniard, myself!) and great service.
I reserved through OpenTable for a 15-people company dinner on February 6 and then got in touch via email to try to get a semi-private table and to negotiate a few changes to the set group menu. They accommodated those changes graciously and even a change of date to the following day.
Once there I can't say much more than: service was outstanding, food was amazing and typically Spanish (and the dishes that were not really traditional, like the 12 hour roasted tomatoes, were incredible), quantity of food was abundant and we had a fabulous time. It's on my top 2 Spanish restaurants outside of Spain, and top 1 in Europe outside of Spain.
We were there from 7:45 to 11:40pm and no one rushed us at any time.
If I lived in London I'd definitely come back when I was missing my home country, thanks for helping us have a memorable evening!
The best Spanish restaurant in London. Great food, awesome service, cozy atmosphere. Always perfect!
Sad that We had to feel that we were urged to finish meal quickly and go, as so many times the waiters/waitress turned up to ask us “have you finished?” It made my guests to feel that they had to hurry up to eat. It was on Sunday night and it was a totally different atmosphere from what I remembered from before. Totally dead and no liveliness. Price is as usual but food wasn’t as good as before.
It was quite a disappointment.
I will look for another Spanish Resaurant.
Fantastic restaurant will definitely be back. Good food and lovely friendly staff.
Always a pleasant experience, best Spanish food in London! Must try the oxtail, 8hr roasted tomatoes, and iberico jamon
Great food and good wine, as ever,
Always delicious and still the best Spanish restaurant in London, bar none:)
The staff are wonderful, welcoming, accommodating and know what we want before we do.
Fab restaurant- Excellent service. Well priced . Charming
Always a delight to eat at this beautiful restaurant, exceptional food, wonderful service from Abel, Paco and the team, plus they have my favourite Cava Tuve Y Camps. Highly recommend the Patatas Brava, Octopus in cauliflower puree, the amazing fake tomato cod brandade and the Torrija for dessert was truly divine.
This is a gem: creative tapas that are complex, flavorful and original; vegetarian, seafood and carne. An excellent Spanish wine list and a full bar with cocktail specials. The room is loud, friendly, happy, beautifully decorated with outrageous & modern Spanish impressionist art, and the entire experience is utterly joyful and delicious. Get in here!
High quality tapas in a modern and stylish restaurant. Highly recommended!
Amazing food, staff and atmosphere. Very special evening.
