Cambio de Tercio is the signature Restaurant of Cambio De Tercio Restaurant Group, located in the heart of Chelsea- South Kensington. It was open in June, 1995 and is a pioneer in offering modern and innovative Spanish cuisine in London.

We also offer traditional Spanish tapas, but it is our Chef Alberto Criado’s creative dishes, what defines us and has given us our name.

Our award winning “wine list” contains the largest and more diverse selection of Spanish wines anywhere in London.

Within our renovated premises, you can now have dinner at our Chef’s table situated in our kitchen or enjoy one of our Spanish style Gin & Tonic at our “C.Tonic” Bar, with a large 80+ premium gin’s menu.

The Restaurant has gained many accolades during the years including the much coveted “ PREMIO ALIMENTOS DE ESPANA 2003- awarded by the Spanish Minister of Agriculture, Fishing and Food as “The Best Spanish Restaurant in any country outside Spain, 2003”

Tapas is harder to rate because there are so many dishes! Most were fabulous, some less so. But what makes this restaurant so pleasurable is the wait staff--they are so friendly and fun that the night is a treat from start to finish! We went twice while on our vacation in London!

Bad service, too quick and felt constantly under pressure of the waiters who wanted to clear up the table asap.
Not well advised on food choices.

You will not want to tell your friends about Cambio de Tercio - it is far too good for them on all levels and you will want to keep the cooking, presentation, atmosphere and service to yourself. Simply one of the bets restaurants you will ever find on the planet.

Food, wine and service was outstanding. Atmosphere was was ok but it felt like the restaurant was full of work dinners. Maybe this was because it was a Tuesday night.

It was a lovely experience - the waiters/waitresses were so nice and friendly. I truly enjoyed their service/attitude even though the speed was kind of slow at times (waitress forgot to bring pepper, forgot to bring us our check). The ambiance was great, and the manager's gregariousness was the highlight!

Unfortunately the restaurant was virtually empty when we arrived for lunch so it was lacking a little atmosphere. However the staff were very friendly and polite and the food was delicious. I had the artichoke soup to start which was the best I've tasted and this was followed by sea bass and then egg and vanilla custard with poached rhubarb that I can only describe as yummy.

Decent food but very overpriced. Food was too sweet. The 8 hour tomatoes were like a sweet chutney. Had half a bottle of red which was okay, but for £37. If you are charging these prices you have to deliver much better food!

The ambiance and food were amazing, very friendly service. Can be very romantic.
There is a problem if you sit next to big groups, the noise level is very high and the acoustics are awful, but the staff is so kind, they did not want the noisy clients very seriously.
Will definitely go again
