Amazing deal for our lunch meal on weekend we hapless pasta brunch with pasta made on the cheese wheel on live station great idea
We really enjoyed our time definitely we will be back
Quite lunch with friends on tower bridge
We got a really warm welcome from the staff
The food was really nice and tasty we had a generous meal from the starter to the dessert
Really good value for the area
Will come back
Excellent food and service.
Great evening standard set menu and good value. Would recommend
The food was delicious, and the service was great.
It was a little noisy in the dining area, but nonetheless the food, taste and service made up for it.
Very good value for money too.
The 20£ menu has an incredible good quality/price. We enjoyed it a lot and will come back again!
Everything was amazing, we went for our anniversary last Saturday and it was wonderful, food very tasty and delicious, service quick and the staff friendly. I'll see you soon 😍
Good quality with an affordable price. attentive service We really enjoy our meal all the dishes was tasty and generous
We really loved our tiramisu’ for dessert
I have said that I wouldn't recommend Cantina, but we went on a quiet night and the place was empty with no atmosphere. The meal was not encouraging either because after our initial tasty mackerel starters, which were like cichetti, the rest of the meal lacked on many levels. The seafood linguine was rather salty , but worse still was unimaginately served in an aluminium pan! It has been known for years that aluminium is highly reactive to acidic foods like tomato and can affect the taste... not a good idea. On top of this the desert we ordered, Tiramisu, was pathetic, it looked old and tired, tasted very watery and was the worst one we'd ever had. We left it. This was not a good experience. The restaurant is in a lovely location but seriously needs to look at what it serves and how it delivers food.
Christmas Italian atmosphere on the river side We been at cantina several times one of our favourite Italian choice in the area
Food is Always outstanding tasty and generous we got a selection of starters arranged from the chef
Then lasagna and pork cheek as main
All really delicious
Staff always friendly and attentive
Wait for next visit
Amazing experience on pasta brunch that’s a weekend deal nice to have a chef live prepare our pasta
Tasty and well presented always attentive service
One of our new spot for the weekends
Lovely atmosphere, nice views along the river and food very tasty
Great restaurant. Food was delicious and right on point. The place can be a bit cosier though. It is really noisy and resembles a bit a canteen.
Nice restaurant on the side of the Thames. Fairly scenic, the restaurant has a nice feel to it. The pre-theatre set menu is good value for money, although some vegetables would benefit on the side. Staff were accommodating and lovely. Would recommend.
Great food amd very nice service
Bargain set lunch. 3 courses for £15 for a delicious and generous beef carpaccio, a competent pollo pizzaiola and good cheese with tasty mermelatta is already good and when you add the riverside situation and view, this must be one of London's best set lunch deals. The restaurant was quiet Thursday lunchtime, so lacking a little in atmosphere, but service was efficient , informative and friendly. Only criticism was that the cheese was served with a too small piece of wafer bread to accompany it, but it would be churlish to gripe at this price!
Good food, great location. Unfortunately staff is putting pressure on guest to eat quickly and leave.
First time been here for try pasta brunch
Definitely made our day smiley staff and happy chef at outside station with cheese wheel for the live show
The menu is a really food value for money
And the fresh past with sauce on your choice are really tasty
Thank you to all the staff
Anna was a good host. She is an asset for the establishment.
Good food and serving staff.
PreFix menu was good value comes with a glass of fizz which my husband had it. I ordered food from normal menu then saw next table was given 2 glasses complimentary prosecco which obvious when I asked why I didn't get one. The host lady explained that she only could offer to VIP customers no matter what and how much I spent first time she couldn't be bother to please everyone... understandable but the way she explained it was a bit unfair.
We decide to come for a meal after a friend suggestion
Definitely was a good one we really enjoy our meal really friendly staff and nice Italian atmosphere we been impressed from the quality And the generosity of the food
Good selection and menu well balanced on price The starter and the main course was really tasty
Wait for come back
We went with high hopes but overall, although there was nothing specifically amiss, we were rather disappointed. The service was a bit patchy (when it was good it was very, very good but..), the food was OK (the antipasta meat plate was monotonous) and the wild boar a bit too heavy for our stomachs. It was not cheap either.
Having said that if we are in the area we would probably return at some point.
We had an enjoyable meal all ordered off the brunch menu. Starters perfect as they are individual, mains not the same even though they came out the kitchen as individual portions they where mixed at the table and not divided equally.
The restaurant it’s is tired and dirty, unloved and forgotten.
Great service, lovely food! Found a good deal online
Wonderful night on one of my favourite Italian restaurant in this area
I always find a charm welcome and friendly service
Food is always generous and seasonal with a really high quality product
Plus a little touch of truffle ( special menu )
Thanks to our waitress for the suggestion
Best Italian choice next to the river
Wait for our next visit
The food was very delicious, and service was excellent.
Really liked the place location and friendly staff.
On arrival the place seemed very nice and had a nice atmosphere. We was placed by the window and right next to the door, so everytime it opened you got a chill. We was given a menu and expected to order straight away without any thinking time. The starter was not the best and the options are very limited. I order the rather ridiculously priced lamb, which was tiny and covered in fat. The best thing about the main was the mash! The wine was absolutely terrible and we left it on the side. There is also a shocking service charge which didn't go down well. Overall the experience left me rather disappointed and hungry. We ended up going home and ordering a takeaway. We wanted to get out and have a lovely evening but we didn't!!
Amazing dinner on the riverside
Real Italian atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff
The food was amazing and real value for the quality we got
Even on the truffle menu which is running in this period
(We tried couple of dishes and was superb)
Definitely come back
We go here from time to time as a group, taking advantage of their set lunch offers (while spending rather more on wine). Thew staff are invariably very helpful, the food good and the prices reasonable - especially given its stunning riverside/tower Bridge view location. We will be back....
Food was over salted and service was average
We had a nice evening. The weather was perfect for an outdoor meal. The staff was friendly and the service was good. There are other items on the menu I would like to try, so I would go back.
My favourite Italian restaurant in the area
I been here few times and I always felt Wellcome
The staff is always friendly and professional
And the food tasty and with good value
For the quality you get
Really poor service - staff just didn’t know what they were doing! So many things went wrong I don’t even have the energy to list them all. Food was average. Good price because of the evening standard deal. If you want average cheap eats with a good view and don’t mind faulty towers style service then you won’t be disappointed.
Great value with the Evening Standard offer. Nice to be seated outside for river & people watching & a great view of Tower Bridge.
Amazing dinner in proper Italian way
Staring from a nice Wellcome from the staff
Really classic and quality food
We got a generous and rally tasty meal
Thank you for the lovely experience
Not outstanding, but a pleasant meal at a stunning location.
I actually could not believe how rude the staff were. Table wasn't ready when we arrived (fine), so went to the bar but were roundly ignored by all staff for 15 minutes, and treated like a nuisance and an inconvenience when I asked a passing waitress if we might be able to order a drink (inexplicably we were told we were going to have to wait another 10 minutes before this would be possible). Eventually left after 20 minutes of being ignored by various staff, despite asking three times if we could order a drink. Have eaten here a few times over the last 5 years but appears to have gone downhill. In all fairness it was a relatively busy Thursday evening, but I can't recall ever having been treated with as much contempt by restaurant staff as I was here.
