Limited but excellent menu. Small restaurant but managing Covid precautions
Friendly service. Short, tasty lunchtime menu. Gnocchi especially delicious.
Lunch menu was not large, but the pasta dish we had was lovely & very tasty, with a lovely glass of Pinot Grigio
Followed by a delicious Pannacotta with red berries and Cappuccinos.....
Service was friendly and attentive by a young Italian male waiter which was much appreciated....
Good value lunch menu, two minutes from Tate Modern. Recommend and will use them again.
Lovely atmosphere and fantastic food. Highly recommend.
Absolutely delicious. Proper al dente pasta cooked to perfection with beautiful Italian flavours. Excellent
Outside seating on a balmy south London evening, with charming and attentive service and the best spinach ravioli ever!
Short and excellent wine list.
Capricci looks like a small café-bar and wine shop but it's a secret wonderful place to eat with few no fuss tables. The food is very Italian, authentic and fresh. The sommelier is passionate about his cellar that ranges from top expensive super Tuscans to superb affordable discovery by the glass. Nice ambiance and fast service. We went right out of Tate Modern with our two starving teenagers who loved it too.
The food was lovely! The service was really good.
Easy to book, good service. Able to sit outside. Excellent food and nice view of Tate Modern. Would go again
Superb food and great service - a wonderful lunch
Perfect Italian restaurant. Small and intimate, we could sit outside and enjoy fantastic food and service. The Gnocchi was the best I'd had in a long time!
Excellent and authentic Italian food at reasonable prices, excellent service. Great place to eat after a visit to Tate Modern.
Delicious food and a fabulous wine list. Great service!
Excellent lunch with a very authentic Italian feel and menu.
Great food. We had some qualit Italian wine to go with it. It was my husband's birthday and he had his dessert served with a little candle in it. Very nice. We also had some complementary liquor to finish the meal off. We ate outside which was ideal as it was a muggy night. Good friendly service too.
Lovely small Italian eatery just behind Tate Modern. Limited menu, but food delicious and good value for money. Highly recommended.
A lovely restaurant with great food and hospitable staff. Will definitely be going back!
A delicious lunch; a shared starter of cured meats and cheeses served with rustic bread, olives and oil and balsamic and then two generous bowls of pasta.
Bravo! The standard of cooking is greatly improved and the portions are much more generous than I remember.
We really like this place, very friendly and professional staff, delicious food, so much better than the chain restaurants across the road.
Had fabulous lunch here when visiting the Tate Modern. It’s tucked around the back and was one of the very few places open for food. Lovely staff, not fussy but felt special. Large portions and they were happy for us to share. Proper Italian food in a friendly, relaxed, clean atmosphere.
I’ll definitely be back! The food, drink and service was just brilliant. Really good value for money. What a gem.
So happy to have this restaurant staunchly loyal to us local residents having provided takeaway when in-restaurant dining was not possible and looking after us on-site now.
As always, Capricci turns out to be a wonderful choice. No exception this time.
This was our second visit to Capricci, and the food was as outstanding as before. All three of us had superb meals; everything was excellent, especially the main courses, the house wine and the coffee. Perhaps the desserts could have been rather more special, but these are difficult times and we guessed that there had been slight compromises in this area due to the limited number of customers. We ate outside so were mercifully free from any piped music; we cannot comment on piped music inside the restaurant but sincerely hope that they know better than to pollute the atmosphere with unwelcome music.
Fabulous food but the prices for pasta dishes are very high in particular the ones with no meat or fish
Great wine recommendation. Authentic pasta, well selected ingredients, tasty. Attentive, friendly staff. Pouring wine sometimes a challenge. My favorite after work dinner place.
Capricci continues to serve amazing food and the possibility to chose wine from the display is a real plus for me.
I felt the pasta dishes were a bit over truffled. The tortellini amazing the tagliatelle outstanding but the Cacio e Pepe with truffles just didn’t work for me.
I’ll be back and I’m just grateful I don’t live nearby or I’d overuse it and be bored with it.
We go to Capricci's when we want a spectacular experience. It is out Italian go to place. You won't be disappointed. Straight from Naples!
We love to eat here and wish there was somewhere like it where we live.( We only come to London two or three times a year.) The service is swift and friendly and the food is delicious. We come before going to the Globe and like that we are able to eat early and talk without competing with over amplified music.
Pleasant restaurant, pleasant service. Food ok but very expensive. House wine very expensive and very poor.
Excellent lunch in good atmosphere - as it is a wine shop as well and does take away. Lovely staff and pasta v delicious. Will visit again.
Capricci is a real taste of Italy. They follow the great Italian tradition of producing excellent food by selecting first class ingredients. The wine list is reasonably priced. Sitting in what feels like a shop takes a moment to get used to but quickly becomes part of the fun. Staff are knowledgeable and enthusiastic without being over attentive.
Authentic non chain Italian, good rustic food and friendly staff.
Great Deli/Restaurant, delicious food, excellent wine and friendly service. Mille grazie Capricci!
We had a really enjoyable evening here. Delicious food and great service.
Brilliant spot fir intimate lunch. Very creative food and lovely staff and chef! Would highly recommend
Capriccis never disappointments. It is as authentic as it gets. Great place. We return often.
Outstanding delicious authentic Italian food using freshly cooked to a very high standard - this is a real gem - would highly recommend
Very close to Tate Modern. Good food and wine.
