Carpaccio Di Tonno
thinly sliced sushi-grade tuna encrusted with pink peppercorns, accompanied by a fresh avocado, mesclun salad & citrus lemon vinaigrette.
traditional parmigiana style over capellini.
meat lasagna with ricotta and mozzarella, and tomato ragu.
The occasion was for a birthday and we had a wonderful time. The food was very good.
Consistently great Italian food with excellent service. Have been going here for years and it remains one of our favorites.
Enjoyed the food as usual, had excellent entree choices and enjoyed them very much. Recommend the caprese salad and house-made Caeser.
Had a very polite and friendly server, but I think there were a few groups there this evening, so largely he was MIA for very long periods of time. Wasn’t his fault, but definitely threw off timing and saved us from buying another bottle of wine as meal was over before we could get order in.
Will definitely return, plenty of leftovers to enjoy for lunch!!
I really like Carpaccio but this trip the grilled calamari was a little chewy and the halibut had slight "fishy" flavor. The eggplant parmigiana was a huge serving but the tomato sauce was very plain.
Server from Miami was amazing!
Can’t wait to return! Great vibe and awesome food and wine. A very welcoming wait staff. Exciting spot, busy with lots of people celebrating. Fun!
Great authentic Italian food and menu. Only complaint was the alcoholic beverages were not balanced and undrinkable.
Great service and excellent food.
The service at the bar was outstanding. Our server at the table was adequate, but not extraordinary. I have the porcini risotto, which was a solid entrée choice. I would certainly go back.
I wish my plate was less cheesy to actually taste the other items presented on my plate. Overall a great night with the family and always good service.
Chilean Sea Bass special over-priced and with strange mix of accompanying vegetables (potatoes, brocollini, and Romaine lettuce). Octopus appetizer special was of an entree-size (should have been half the amount of octopus and salad, although both were delicious) and filled me up before my entree. Wine by the glass options were fine and fairly priced. It would be best to provide a printed list of specials rather than relying on wait-staff memories to recite (and ours to remember), especially since we heard the specials to be recited differently by separate waiters near our table.
Great service, food and atmosphere! Definitely will go back, and recommend this place to everyone!!!
Very good food, experience, and service!
Service was great. My wife’s Halibut was off the charts. Veal dish in Rose sauce was outstanding.
Our waitress was excellent- great personality with warmth. She was very helpful advising me about gluten free entrees. She was fast and efficient. Loved her energy. Food was delicious. My husband and I got pasta dishes with great sauces. Ambiance is great too.
I went there with a large group of about 10 people before a show at Maryland Hall. We had several servers attending to us and they were very willing to provide separate checks and remained cognizant of our time constraints. The drinks, hors d'oeuvres and meals all came beautifully prepared and at the same time. Several in our group had not been there before and raved about the food. Particularly tasty were the Fettuccine Alfredo and all of the Risottos. The only complaint was someone felt the mixed drinks were a little stingey with the liquor, but when she told the server, they gladly resolved it to her satiRisotto. Great start to a lovely evening!
Great food. Great wine list. Everyone enjoyed their meal.
Had to put several tables together for our group of 6, but not a huge deal. Might have been better to be seated at a larger table. But, I’m nit-picking. Everyone had a great, great time.
Since we were in the heart of Annapolis for the boat show , we decided to go to.. what else ? An Italian restaurant. Seems like the wrong answer for the area that's steeped in fishing and sailing.
However , we did enjoy the dinner, the dining room and bar were full and lively.
The food came quickly at first , but our mains were not. My wife's came first, which was tenderloin (done perfectly). My main , came 10 minutes later . Our server was visibly upset that our meal wasn't co-ordinated. To her credit she raised a bit of **ll in the kitchen and my food came in time for us to eat together. Additionally my meal was removed from our check . Unexpected for sure. We'd go again if we were in the area.
WoNderful as always
Delicious food, excellent waitress, nice place for a quiet dinner for 2!
Outstanding Italian food. Highly recommend the black ink seafood linguini it was amazing! My husband loved his breaded bone in pork chop. We enjoyed our meal with an excellent bottle of Sangiovese wine, the wine is not over priced.
Nice menu, new service staff
$$$ for 4. Easy location for tourists. Parking not immediate
The atmosphere and the food are absolutely outstanding. Service was truly amazing especially given the place was packed. Outside dining was wonderful ... a 70 degree night, a Navy football victory and footsteps from the Westin make this place a homerun.
Excellent menu selection, meals and service.
Delicious Mediterranean salad
We had a wonderful birthday dinner. Our waitress was excellent!
Best service in Annapolis!
I really loved Carpaccio. It has to be my favorite restaurant in the Annapolis area, just because the food is so delicious and reasonably priced.
This restaurant is FABULOUS. Good size portions as well.
It was fine. Waitress needs additional training in serving bottled wine.
Excellent service and food. The bread with tomatoes is excellent. Recommend the Vitello Annapolis
Friendly staff, sat us immediately even though we were early, courteous and attentive service, and delicious food. Can’t wait to go back.
Food was great, as usual. Our waitress Hannah was lovely. Gave great service.
Food was very good and friendly staff but understaffed for size of restaurant and Saturday night crowd.
We had a great waiter, knowledgeable and entertaining. The food was very good and everyone in our party liked the appetizers, entrees, and dessert. Unfortunately the restaurant is very loud. We could not comfortably talk to someone across the table. The restaurant has very little decor to absorb the sound.
We had a 9:15PM reservation and really enjoyed our dinner. We did note that the menu on Open Table was not the same as the one in the restaurant. Specifically, we were hoping for scallops napoleon but it was no longer available. The interior of the restaurant did get noisy when the servers started doing their side work as the it got closer to closing time.
Server Stephanie turned what would have been 3 stars into 5. We had made a reservation on Open Table, but upon checking in the host said we had none, but said he could seat us anyway. Carpaccios then had the temerity to report us as no-shows to Open Table. Really?! I have 43 completed Open Table reservations with zero no-shows going back to 2012.
Carpaccios said their system wouldn’t allow them to process gift cards which what had brought us to the restaurant. Stephanie comped us with a complimentary dessert for the inconvenience.
Not sure I would ever go back, but I’m an Annapolitan with two gift cards. Will post fuller review on Yelp. First picture below is of an unappealing appetizer brought to the table. Fortunately, Stephanie replaced it with some wonderful bread triangles. Second is of the market antipasto plate.
The best Italian food that I have eaten in Annapolis. Excellent service as well!
