Cicchetti (small to medium plates to share)
Delicious, homely Italian fare cooked and served by friendly people.
Lovely food. Slightly haphazard service. Interesting little cafe in old covered market. Will be going back.
Delicious meal - each dish as it came out got better and better.
Gorgeous food as usual. Casa Sibilla is one of my Brixton Village favourites. Lovely staff, fabulous food what’s not to love!
Great spot for a leisurely Friday night dinner! Service was friendly and attentive, and every dish we ordered was absolutely delicious.
Quality of ingredients really shines through, with incredible olive oil and balsamic used to dress some of the dishes and really elevating them. The burrata was delicious and creamy, and meatballs flavoursome - firm but juicy. The menu is seasonal, so it changes often - we will definitely be back to sample again!
We splashed out on a delicious bottle of wine and the bill was still very reasonable considering we were too full for dessert.
Service was mixed - friendly, but at times very slow (it took half an hour to get our bill!) But the food itself was delicious.
We discovered Casa Sibilla with my sister and took our parents back there a week after! Great food, lovely service and perfect location - just try it, it's awesome!
Another great visit to Casa Sibilla! Fabulous food with attentive waiting staff. I will be back!
Casa Sibilla is an amazing gem of a restaurant in Brixton Village. It’s run by truly delightful staff who are friendly and helpful. I’ve been coming for years and the food is delicious and this occasion it was also. I will be back!
‘Italian tapas’ is a recent invention of London’s restaurants and a prerogative of Venice only in Italy. Here it is done with inventiveness and good ingredients. How can stuffed mushrooms be amazing? But they were and so was the duck spread and the tagliatelle spinach and almonds. One criticism to the menu was the lack of meat/fish dishes (only 2 amongst 20sh). Service was attentive. The place is cosy as all Brixton village restaurants are but the owner should sort out the extractor fan because by the end of the dinner our eyes were read from the fumes coming from the kitchen and the clothes totally smelly. Excellent value for money though.
Always great food & service at Casa Sibilla & this visit didn’t disappoint. I will return!
Excelente Italian food, the wine was one of my favourite from Montalcino, cosy bistro and outstanding dishes
Casa Sibilla is a great restaurant in Brixton Village. It’s run by the friendliest staff and the food is great. On this visit one of my friends had tricky dietary restrictions which they accommodated. Love the food and will return!
I recommend the "Casa Sibilla" for all occasions, because Paola is not just a formidable chef, but also a nice person. The staff are friendly and prepared and the place is "handy" and very atmospheric. Quality dishes prepared with quality ingredients. Great Italian artisan beer.
Very impressive homemade Italian food! The kitchen is very small, so expect to wait. It took a good two hours for all of the food to be delivered to our table of eight.
Great food and a good selection. It's Italian tapas so you're able to try different things. In the brixton village it's got a great vibe and the staff were really friendly and helpful.
Excellent tapas with a Sicilian flavour. Service excellent.
My boyfriend and I went to Casa Sibilla on a Friday evening and had a lovely time.
It's a tiny place that serves authentic Italian food with tapas style small plates.
I'd say 2.5 plates per person is plenty - we got a little excited and over-ordered.
Food, wine and service were excellent.
I'd highly recommend the crespelle and parmigiana.
Excellent Italian food and wine in Brixton Village
I have eaten here twice and both times the food was very good and service friendly. Nice choice of flavours and textures represented. Veggie things, meaty things, comforting things, single cheeses, creative affogatos, great wines. It is obvious that each dish is made with love and care. Really authentic Puglian dishes in the brilliant setting of Briton Village in a cute cosy space. Very impressed. I'll be back!
The food here is lovely - very thoughtful menu and well cooked food. However the restaurant was very cold, uncomfortably so. The portions are also quite small - even for tapas
I've eaten here about 6 times and it's always a good experience. I've brought foodie friends from Switzerland and America, and both have loved it as much as I do. All the dishes are really tasty, individual and surprising. Love the creamy Puglia mozzarella and the pork belly (though the portion is a little too tiny - we had a hard job sharing it!). A request for the tiny lamb meatballs that used to be on the menu to be reinstated - they were delicious.
Very friendly service from our sweet Apulian waiter. I'll definitely be coming again.
Delicious food - I have been here a few times and it's always wonderful. One of the very best in Brixton Market
Nice little restaurant, food good but service pretty awful. Got a couple of dishes within 15 minutes but the rest were more than 45 minutes later. They forgot a drinks order and were not very sympathetic when we said we had to leave to go to a gig. If they sort the service out I would go again, nice food.
SUPERB food, I always want to try the other Tapas bars of Brixton but keep going back to this one as they change their menu so often and the food is truly delicious. We had the most amazing red wine, it was called something 29. best red wine iv had in a very long time.
always a reliable favourite in brixton village. tasty food and very friendly owners and staff
Great food, ambience and fabulously friendly staff! Casa Sibilla never fails to disappoint with their flavoursome food. I have been before and will return again! The most delicious parmigiana and gnocchi in London.
The service was so bad. There were only two other tables of people when we arrived and the service was incredibly slow - even once ordered we had to chase for bread at least twice before it came about 15minutes later. When asking for drinks these also took a very long time. Our wine arrived after the main dishes, even though we chased twice for this before and the waitress that mostly served us looked very uninterested.
It was a real shame!
A consistently excellent restaurant in Brixton Village - wonderful food - and you can book!
The food was very good. The service was prompt and very friendly. There was some confusion about a dish we ordered because of language barriers but overall would highly recommend this place.
This is one of my favourite places to eat in London. It makes me feel as if I am in Italy !
I love the staff too. They are so nice to me and my partner everytime we go there.
excellent as always! The pork belly is fabulous and the dark chocolate pudding delicious
Lovely place in the heart of Brixton market. Very Italian :) Loved it.
The food here is absolutely terrific! It is so so delicious, the chef is absolutely fantastic! The service is lovely but just a little slow because it is busy. Honestly the woman who runs this is an amazing cook. I was taken by a friend and have been taking other people ever since because everyone likes it. Last week I took a vegetarian, a meat eater, some who only eats 'clean; and me who eats for pleasure and we ALL enjoyed it - that's how good it is!
The staff were very friendly - they moved us to a bigger table when we asked, even though it was very busy. The food was very fresh and the dishes were brought to our table at the right pace - and was delicious!
excellent food and wine as always. I love this restaurant and go as often as I can
The food was fantastic. However, the table was not ready when we arrived and they had a cover charge per person (£3 each) for the birthday cake that I brought.
Italian Loveliness, really enjoyed very one of theses small delights, will be going back.
Lovely atmosphere, always fantastic food. Try as many dishes as you can and share! The Montepulciano was a very modestly priced corker of a wine.
Excellent food and wonderful service. Casa Sibilla is a lovely Italian tapas restaurant run by really friendly and attentive waiting staff. This was my third meal there and I'll definitely return.
The flavours are delicious in all the dishes I have tried and the pork belly absolutely astounding!
