We have been to Cassio's many times and we are never disappointed. The bruschetta is the best ever!! Would highly recommend this restaurant.
Great local Italian. Highly recommend. Excellent service and delicious food. Visited Friday evening with visiting family. Everyone enjoyed themselves.
Really delicious food, lovely ambience. Cannot wait to return!
Fantastic little authentic Italian restaurant. Seasonal menu was delicious - loved the lobster particularly! Their wine list is extensive and the staff were very friendly. It is the perfect place for a date night!
A breath of fresh air to sensible Sevenoaks. Enter and you're transported to a vibrant atmosphere with eclectic decor more in the style of Shoreditch or Hoxton and classic soul soundtracks. Food is carefully crafted for maximum flavour with modern combinations to enhance the expertly cooked meat. Wine list surprised us - we chose an organic Malbec from France, (yes France not Argentina or South Africa), which complimented the food perfectly without the usual sledge hammer impact of new world Malbecs.
Little gem of a restaurant in Tooting Bec, perfect if you want something independent and cosy. Service is outstanding and food / wine delicious!
Excellent as always. Pasta outstanding, spicy prawns with rice a delicious alternative. A South London gem.
We were staying in a hotel for Christmas to visit family but they had no restaurant. I also needed to drop my car off at my daughter’s so she could use it on Christmas Eve. But my husband and mother were with me, both disabled. I dropped them at the restaurant and then drove to my daughter’s flat toleave the car and walk back. Although I explained to them what I was doing, they both have cognitive issues and so they told the owner I was just parking the car. He was stressed, with three sittings for Christmas Eve, although the restaurant was empty when we arrived, and all his other customers were regulars. So he had a go at them about me not turning up for 20 minutes, also that I’d booked for four in case my daughter wanted to join us, and we were only 3. Stress then passed into us, and my husband ordered fish stew while I ordered lobster pasta, both of which were lovely, but required a lot of de-shelling work. Our table was needed by 8.30 so we were really under pressure. My mother loved her mushroom pasta. And my husband had a tiramisu which he enjoyed. By the time we finished the restaurant was packed, and the waiters were run off their feet. All the staff were very charming and helpful, but it was probably the worst night of the year for them. We will return when it’s quieter, as it is 20 minutes walk from my daighter’s Flat, and most of the other restaurants in the area are curry houses. And the food is good, if you choose wisely and have more time!
My son and I had an enjoyable evening here for his birthday. Service was good and the restaurant had a good jolly feel to it. However, we did feel itwasa bit over priced. The olives at £2.50 were awful,te cheapest possible kind. Would have been better with good quality ones but fewer. Little things like this are important
Consistently good local restaurant
We walk past here every day and forget how good it is - everything is great. Fresh pasta and pizzas. Delicious starters too! Great sized portions, we even took some home! We will be back soon...
Always fantastic food an service—truly hearty and authentic Italian cuisine.
Never fails to please
Excellent food - good for all pockets 👍🏼
Love going here have been several times and is always a great experience. Delicious food, huge portions and very authentic and friendly Italian waiters!
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was lovely, tasty and plenty of it. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Great food. Service excellent. Our first time here - party of 13. Everyone enjoyed their food. Reasonable price.
Another excellent meal with friendly, attentive service. Highly recommended
The staff at Cassio are extremely friendly and even take requests for food not on the menu. Superb service.
This is one of the best Italian restaurants in the area
Love it there and always made to feel so welcome
Recommended over and over again
Excellent local place to go either as a couple or for meeting friends for a tasty meal
We were looked after very well when we took our daughter for a birthday lunch here. Excellent food, wine and service, all at a reasonable price.
Lovely meal and good value. Portion sizes where really good. Staff very friendly.
Authentic and delicious Italian dishes. Italian staff were very friendly and helpful in explaining the menu. Stayed for three hours, thoroughly enjoyed it.
Great local Italian
Delious food and great service
The food is really excellent in this local gem. The menu is extensive with something for everyone and can be as cheap as you wish really as the pizzas and pastas are quite reasonable but the fish and meat dishes are more expensive (but large and value for money as well). Go hungry! oh, and get the tomato garlic bread.
Excellent! A local favourite of ours! Great value, nice ambience and the food is always delicious. We always order the bruschetta. Delicious at this place! 5 stars.
Massive dishes so yummy and great service will be definitely going back
Lovely wholesome Italian food at a very reasonable price
It was a combined Birthday and Wedding Anniversary for the Same Date. Wonderful food a great place to dine out for special occasions.
One of my favourite restaurants, I’ve been there a couple of times for my birthday. Very friendly staff, great food and very generous portion sizes (I can never finish but I always take it home). Would recommend to anyone, but would say, if going for a quiet conversation or date type evening, go later on as it can get quite loud at earlier times due to it being a popular family destination.
Great Italian food and great service. Portions are great too so arrive hungry! Great little neighbourhood restaurant!
Fantastic as always. Great service and atmosphere. Food is authentic Italian food with rich flavours. Been here a few times now and would always recommend this as an alternative to the Indian/Sri Lankan/Pakistani food scene that is so good in Tooting, if you're feeling like you need a change.
Nice typical Italian restaurant setting. Personal service by experienced staff. Would gladly go back there. Only time it could be slightly unpleasant is when there are large groups, as it can get very loud.
Very enjoyable evening with good food and wine. Will definitely be back soon.
This restaurant belongs in the West End or Soho - or Milan. Service is personal. Ambience is good (although they need to stop burning the toast and smoking diners!) Seriously good Italian food, cooked beautifully and little touches like a tasting of the special Sicilian wine "just in that morning until it runs out". Go. Only metres from Tooting Bec underground so no excuse if you don't live locally.
Fantastic little family run restaurant in the heart of Tooting Bec. Food was delicious, service great and will be back!
Such good pizza and fast service!
Excellent Italian food, nice atmosphere, courteous and efficient service: who could ask for more? This is a lovely place to eat.
Good basic Italian. A bit noisy due to tile floor and no drapery.
Awesome as always...the Cassio never fails to disappoint as a fantastic place to enjoy the authentic Italian hospitality.
