About

Serving British cuisine with a French flair, Castle Terrace Restaurant can be found tucked underneath Edinburgh Castle at 33-35 Castle Terrace, a 15 minute walk from Waverley station and the famous Royal Mile. Its Scottish chef Dominic Jack, conjures star-quality food for a variety of set menus in addition to the à la carte. His training in French fine dining restaurants allows him to produce exquisite dishes with a combination of French technique and Scottish ingredients. Lunch can be had from as little as £29.50, with the 6 course Tasting menu costing £75. Castle Terrace provides a variety of menus with produce from the land and from the sea, possibly complemented with wines chosen by Head Sommelier Joel. Its ""from nature to plate"" philosophy is reflected in the locally sourced seasonal ingredients. Shetland salmon and Ayrshire pork are but two of the dishes gracing the menu, not forgetting the British and French cheeses available to complete the experience.
