Food good. Service very slow.
Too much noise at the restaurant
Love this place. We keep coming back. Great food. Good service
As always Totaly professional experience from arriving, food ,wine and service to leaving
The food and ambience is great at Cecconi’s! We celebrated my mums 60th birthday and they kindly gave her a birthday dessert for free too.
Gorgeous food and service! We first sat next to a birthday party which were very loud but the waitress and hostess made it possible for us to move to a better spot which made our dinner ambience better and less noisy! Thank you!
Lovely evening to celebrate my son’s birthday. Great service Nice to be back
Super poor quality food. The green salad was mouldy, the calamari were rubber.
You wait ages to be served. Staff is very slow and doesn’t pay attention.
If you want to eat soup with a fork and plastic calamari then this is the perfect place for you.
My muffin was stale, they charged £5 for a tiny portion of spinach and the whole thing needed seasoning, disappointing, used to be one of my favourite places
Food was cold bland and tasteless . Had prawns to start cold and tasty very fishy .
Lobster pasta … pasta was under cooked and hard .
My friend had steak which was chewy and she couldn’t cut … sent that back
Loved loved loved it. Everything was faultless.
Service was extremely poor. Slow and forgot several things we ordered.
No apology from main waiter but guy who brought the bill was apologetic.
Normally a really great experience.
Particular place with good ambience, but very bad acoustics and really noisy. Very good, but not excellent, Italian food.
Awesome as usual. Great atmosphere and fantastic food. We love to come here when in the area and it always delivers.
Good food and amazing service. Toilets need looking at however - for one of the better restaurants in London, having only one toilet working in both the ladies and gents really isn’t good (especially when restaurant is busy)!
Very unfriendly staff. Food ok but nothing more, Nice location
Service was poor - inadequate staffing - coming post
COVID but if that’s the issue don’t fill the tables
Waiters can put some effort and smile to customers
We had the best time and were very well looked after by a Polish girl
the main course took so long that I went shopping a 5 minute walk away from the restaurant and returned and the food still hadn't shown up. Also I decided to leave because it was taking so long.
The experience was amazing the restaurant is wonderful and the food is very nice . Yet , the front desk people is very unwelcoming , rude , not friendly . The service was very very very bad ! Our food took over 20-30 minutes until we get our appetizers . Even through we where upset about the service they dis not even try to make it better nor be friendly and apologize .
My friend and I enjoyed breakfast here before going to the Royal Academy.
Although I had some difficulty booking, when we got there there were quite a few empty tables - but maybe that is because they allow for walk-ins ?
The food was good and also good value, but the acoustics aren’t great in there, and it was quite hard to hear each other talk at times - even though it was only about half full.
great evening ddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd
Had a lovley meal on our visit from the north east for my daughters 30 th celebration few days
Enjoyed a superb dinner with a good friend. The octopus starter was exceptional. As my friend said- the dinner put the final punctuation to a great day.
Great waiting staff, really good food.
Cloakroom and greeting staff mislaid my wife’s coat, denied having it and were quite rude when we insisted on looking for it ourselves, took us 30 seconds to find it.
The service was terrible, understaffed and the staff who were there were either rude or negligent. The woman who ‘welcomed’ us made our guests whom we’d invited feel immediately uncomfortable. She rolled her eyes and huffed and puff as she requested our table. The waiters never came to the table so when the coffee was cold or we wanted horseradish we were never served. Worst service I’ve had all year
Unfortunately the place was understaffed and hence service was very poor. Food was great but we had to wait for a very long time and 3 items ordered got missed.
Great place for breakfast, the eggs
The lady in the front desk was so rude and let us wait 30 mins more and she didn’t want to give us the table that was available
I love Cecconi’s for the food and the atmosphere.
Love the place and Marcello took great care of us as always.🙏🙏🙏❤️
Lovely dinner with wonderful food
Would come again!
Always a treat to eat at Cecconi's.
Grab a seat at the bar, be entertained by the staff and make new friends left and right of you.
Always a pleasure coming back here. I’ll be back in December!
Love the food and atmosphere but service is so slow
Excellent food. Mediocre service. After 1.5 hours I was told I would have to immediately leave my table as the next guests had arrived, despite the information on the booking saying the tables were for 2 hours. Instead of apologising for the incorrect information and the complete lack of warning the staff argued with me that their policy was always 1.5 hours despite OpenTable saying two. Not a great attitude to have when charging 60£ for lunch.
Cecconi's was very nice to me as I arrived on time for my reservation but my fellow diners arrived 45 minutes late. I placed my order as I felt awkward (but they were very nice). I explained what had happened once I heard back from my guests. The breakfast menu was extensive with something for everyone. Hopefully, I can come back another time with more reliable guests.
