Champagne and cheese make the perfect pairing at shop-cum-bistro, Champagne + Fromage. Secreted away on Wellington Street in Covent Garden, Champagne + Fromage is Gallic at its most gorgeous: displays of Champagne, cheese and charcuterie make for a chic centerpiece, whilst mismatched furniture and reclaimed materials add a stamp of authentic French flair.
A variety of 25 award-winning grower Champagnes sourced from only the smallest, most independent producers are available to enjoy in the bistro alongside plates of rustic French fare. Menu highlights include the tartines – a single slice of homemade bread draped in slivers of cheese, charcuterie or fruit and drizzled with rich olive oil. Frogs’ legs and snails also make an appearance, alongside cheese and charcuterie boards and a selection of temping desserts.

We went after the theatre and loved it - fantastic cheeses and reasonably priced champagne. What’s not to like!

Small restaurant but ideal to step out of the Covent Garden streets into a small piece of Paris.

The menu is great, the duck delicious and followed by cheeses and desserts, we had a great time.

What more could you ask for? Amazing selection of cheeses, delicious cured meats, and wonderful desserts. The service was friendly and attentive, and the limited number of tables gives an exclusive yet casual vibe. Highly recommend the lavender and goats cheese brûlée - an interesting combination of flavours, but what a revelation! It was possibly the highlight of the meal!

From the outside you would never realise that you can go in here and eat a really good lunch, enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and chill out. The food was excellent, the choice was more than just cheese and the service perfect. For a casual lunch with a friend I would highly recommend this place.

Nice atmosphere. Small but cozy. Staff were pleasant, food was good but a little pricy as was the champagne. Overall a nice experience but not for everyday.

Absolute brilliant find! Food staff and ambience were first class.
I asked for a bottle of dry champagne and what was recommended was spot on! I even bought a bottle to take home as I did cheese.
The food was fresh and presented well! The staff were attentive
Cannot wait to return

Took my parents for afternoon champagne and cheese and cured meats board while they were visiting the city. They absolutely loved it! The meats and cheeses were to die for and very generous servings. The staff are polite and courteous. Very small premise but lots to look at.

Interesting concept but I think we could have ordered better - we found some of the dishes a little too rich / sickly. However, there were many more less cheese heavy that we could have ordered. Nice venue - very small but it works.

dark and not very spatious this very expensive place serves tapas a la Francaise but with British water!
THe highlight is the corsican charcuterie, a rarity and youc na purchase cheeese and other products to take home but be prepare to pay a hefty price.

Been meaning to visit for some time, was nice to take my friend for a good old catchup. The food and drink options are amazing, interesting selection of cheese and great initiative combinations. The tar time of fig and snail, are so yummy. The extensive champagne list is outstanding. The service was attentive and informative. Don't worry if you are overwhelmed by the list, the staff will help guide you. I didn't feel rushed or pressure to leave after the table was cleared. Such a lovely setting for a nice imitate gathering, be it with friends or a date. I would highly recommend everyone to visit. I will surely return and try some more champagne and types of cheese.

Really enjoyed a fun evening with lovely meats and cheeses washed down with Champagne.
Great service from charming girls.
Two comments. The Champagne is on the pricey side by a small margin. There needs to be a wine and beer alternative. My son does not drink Champagne so will not go back despite loving the food. A couple sat down adjacent to us, found there was no wine and left. A real shame.

Unlike other comments service was very good. Liked the food and the champagne. Not exactly the cheapest but hey it's got champagne in the name. Just didn't like the fact their menu on the website is out of date. They don't do fish any more. When you don't eat meat that's disappointing. Would really improve the experience. You can have too much cheese.

Champagne & Fromage is a lovely boutique with great cheese, a lovely French menu and an awesome champagne list. The service can be a little bit iffy sometimes but guess that's part of the charm?

Had three excellent pestos while an absolutely delicious Vacherin Mont D'or was melted with garlic and champagne for us. Staff were friendly and helpful finding gluten free bread and toasting it for me. Dined with my daughter and we both loved it. Food excellent value, champagne not bad value for London.

Very enjoyable dinner on a recent visit to London! Small menu in a cozy and charming setting, offering choices of cheeses, charcuterie and champagnes! Anyone with a passion for these should thoroughly enjoy the experience. Two of us do not eat red meat and the options were plenty, tastes and cheese plates, incredible baked Camembert, and a tasty duck burger. Do not miss the champagne tiramisu, amazing. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful, guiding us in our champagne choices. Lovely evening and fun!

Miserable staff (didn't welcome us or for that matter say thank you and goodbye even though two members of staff were by the door area) - ridiculously small portion of bread to go with the cheese. If they supplied more bread then customers would probably order more platters - better marketing ploy!!!
No atmosphere - all round a disappointing experience.

A really great gem of a place for just having a friendly chat over good cheese and sipping nice champagne. The atmosphere is rustic and maybe a little cramp. But that is equally its charm and character. The staff are really helpful, very friendly and the place has the atmosphere of a small convivial french cafe, that just happens to serves nice cheese and champagne and even some small desserts.

If you have never been, and you like those two ingredients, .. go! :)

Booked here for a girls pre christmas night out and loved it! The service was charming, the food delicious and the ambiance so rustic and christmassy. Champagne, cheese, salami and twinkles, whats not to love. Will definitely be back with everyone I know. Already plotting a night there with my boyfriend. Such a lovely and unique place

I took my best friend to Champagne and Fromage for her 25tg Birthday before our trip to the theatre to see Lion King.
When we got to Champagbe and from age our table wasn't quite ready but we were given a FREE glass of Chanpagne each whilst we were waiting, AMAZING service.
We were seated and were talked through the menu and we got some amazing cheeses and Champagne. It's such a fantastic little shop, nothing really like it around! Thank you so much for a memorable evening!! Two VERY happy customers! :)

We booked for 5 and amended for 7, no problem. Friendly fast service for a superb pre-theatre snack, as light or substantial as you like. One of our group had not been before and he took a handful of cards to give to all HIS friends. Last visited in March pre theatre for my 60th birthday when we were given (free) access to downstairs room which easily seated 12. Excellent location, staff, food ambience, not necessarily in that order! To be highly recommended. Thank you once again.
