First time, waiter made great recommendations and answered all questions. Shrimp curry and lamb vindaloo was delish. The hot Serrano Pokhara’s were exactly that! Very Hot so if you order be prepared! Recommend for any occasion

Was good - many had commented about the parking and we would agree. Parking in a neighborhood Whole Foods garage and paying $32 to park (even with validation) is a pretty stiff tax for the meal.

New cuisine for us. Mort, our waiter, gave excellent recommendations for first timers. He listened to our preferences then offered up excellent ideas for appetizers and protein/curry sauce pairings. The food had so many depths of flavor, wonderful meal and very filling. Ambience was much more casual and noisy than we expected, but still enjoyable. Highly recommend!

The food was amazing. The waiter suggested a few really great options for my friend and I to try. Brandon was our waiter; he was helpful, lively, and made my friend and I feel as ease. I will be back with family, friends… or just by myself!

They have reduce the menu and took off a lot of the creative dishes that was present before covid. Overall we were disappointed it's not the same like it used to be. It's now focus on dishes that are simpler to make and easy to turn a buck.

It was a little too noisy for our personal taste, but it was very fitting in Nashville. My husband ordered his prime rib medium, and it was served well done. That was a huge surprise to me considering the celeb chef’s reputation in the industry. My tandoori chicken was amazing, very tender and wonderfully seasoned. The waitress was exceptional and offered wonderful suggestions to accompany our dishes.

Absolutely delicious Indian fusion food. Was a little noisy. They weren't able to get me in at my scheduled reservation, but I say at the bar and had great service. Hangar steak and the Mac and cheese was out of this world.

My wife and I dined in for our wedding anniversary as she is a big fan of Chef Maneet and had heard raving reviews about how allergen safe it was. For context my wife has celiac’s disease and most cross-contamination, when it comes to gluten, is not safe for her. At the beginning of our meal our waiter discussed her allergens, gluten and shellfish, with us and advised her what she would be able to order and what could be prepared differently to accommodate her restrictions. Her allergens were also listed on the reservation. Our appetizer was the whipped paneer and pita which was to be served with a separate platter containing gluten-free crisps for her. When it was served, someone from BOH brought it out and the gf crisps were served on top of other accompaniments containing gluten. Having just discussed these allergens, she assumed it was safe and began eating. When the waiter returned to fill our waters, he noticed and went to confirm with the kitchen. At this time she was already beginning to have a mild reaction to the food. When he returned and confirmed we ask to speak to management to ensure it would be safe to continue eating dinner there (if she was feeling up to it). The manager was extremely apologetic and watched our food being made as well as comp’d our meals for the evening. We did have to cut the evening short and take most of it to go because my wife was feeling pretty badly afterwards. Despite the aforementioned issue, the food was absolutely delicious. They were also wonderfully accommodating to seating me with my wheelchair and service animal and wanted to make sure I was comfortable. Overall, we were so excited that we got the opportunity to try Chauhan Ale and Masala House— just upset that the allergen mishap unfortunately set the tone for the rest of the evening.

Our first time enjoying Indian style cuisine. Our waiter was wonderful. He answered all our questions explaining the food and it’s flavors The food was amazing and imaginative Will definitely come again the next time we’re in Nashville. The restaurant is moderate size with traditional Indian atmosphere and soft lighting n the dining area Can’t wait to try Chef Chauhan’s other restaurants!

We love Indian & we’re excited to try Chauhan’s. The goat curry mussels were excellent but the other curries were just average & had no spice at all. The lamb & pork shank were cooked well & very tender. The naan with Parmesan was odd tasting. Overall it was good but not as good as expected for a famous chef’s restaurant. I’ve had better Indian in a strip mall.

Food was delicious and our waiter was good. Unfortunately had staff drop glass next to our table that exploded into my leg and nobody asked if I was ok? Was bleeding (not badly) and was told the person that dropped the glass would tell their manager and nobody came to our table?
