Great outdoor experience with great food
Great dinner. It was out first time there and I was able to catch up with my girl over fabulous cocktails and tantalizing meals. Alissa was superb as our waitress as well. Great job.
it was outdoor dining and the menu was very limited but all the food was quite delicious and the service was attentive. The outdoor venue was very lovely considering we were in there middle of the city.
Chopped salad was horrible!

Went for restaurant week and everything was better than we expected
We went during restaurant week and thoroughly enjoyed the fixed price menu offerings. The food was amazing with us getting Filet, and scallops with different appetizers and deserts. I had choc cake with ice cream for desert and it was good, but my friend's warm apple pie with cinnamon was outstanding and what I would definitely get next time. Highly recommended, especially during restaurant week!
This was my first time visiting this establishment and I was VERY disappointed! My husband and I arrived for our 7:30 reservations and was told we had to wait 20 minutes for an available table. I then asked what was the point of making a reservation. He told me that he doesn't know and that the people wouldn't get up. He then said we can sit at the bar and he would come get us when our table was ready. We then sat at the bar for 15 minutes and the bartender did not once come over to take our order or even to say he will be with us momentarily. We then got up to leave. I will NEVER come back to this restaurant again.
Service was extremely poor. Food was cold and bland
Food was delicious, drinks were strong and service was incredible. My only qualm was the the dessert pastries were a bit stale.
Been here several times for lunch. Service and food are impeccable. Cobb salad is delicious.
Restaurant Week must-try
My coworker and I went for restaurant week and it was amazing. The food was great our server was excellent the ambience was perfect everything was amazing. I truly loved the menu selections the bread with the cheese is so delicious. I ordered the calamari, filet mignon and apple pie with cinnamon ice cream. I couldn’t have selected a better choice I would definitely dine here again.
It's was just so so. The drinks were extremely strong. Not strong and good, but just strong. To the point where I sent back the first one and ordered something else, just to leave that one on the table after a couple of sips. The food was warm, which was confusing because we were pretty much the first guess in the dining area so the food should have been brought out right after it was made (or was it pre-made and sitting, hint as to why it was warm🤷🏽♀️). You can have a nice location, good service and chic decor, but if the food and drinks are not good..... YOU'VE LOST ME! Definitely overrated!

Our server Jayden was excellent, very friendly. The ambience is a little clinical, very quiet. The upcharge for anchovies in the salad was a surprise for a high end steakhouse (have not been charged that before). Fire alarm warning in the building went off for about 10 minutew which was not their fault but was a little disturbing and difficult to block out while trying to have an intimate dinner. Overall, the food was good.

this is a classic corporate lunch location with very solid food and good service, though the kitchen is occasionally slow. The décor could use a bit of freshening - a bit more color and just a few new specials now and then would bring regulars back more often.
I go to theis restaurant fairly frequently but they were not up to speed on Monday. First that seated us on the second floor. One of the party just had back surgery and could not take the stairs so i asked about an elevator. They do have one but it is about 6 steps up from the lobby. Not very ADA friendly. Our table was under an AC vent that was shooting out cold air so we asked to have it turned down. The waitress said they can't because it is controlled by Comcast. Hard to believe they do not have thermostats with fan controls in their space. We ended up moving the table over about 3 feet from the wall to be out of the draft. Lunch came in a about and hour and one of the guest had the chicken, which was fine but the two types of potatoes they had on the plate were cold. Odd that they would give two starches. My lunch was the filet mignon stir fry. I asked for white rice but they gave me brown. The steak was not filet as it was chewy and there was a bone in it. Never had filet with a bone. I did tell the waitress about since i did not eat it and i wrote to Chops on their web page but have not heard from anyone. I was taking my team out for a Holiday Lunch and was greatly disappointed.

We celebrated 3 birthdays at lunch. Food was delicious and there were many choices. Service was outstanding. Our server was helpful and friendly. Food came promptly. Plus we got a free dessert. The noise level did not prevent conversation. I would return to this place and recommend it to friends. Very convenient to regional train station for visiting suburbanites.
Last visit, I felt like we were being rushed out because I didn't look important. Felt like the front of the house was waiting for us to leave.

This was my first time dinning at Chops. The waiter wasn't very good. He had no personality nor was he friendly. The food overall sucked. My steak was cold and was not cooked to my specifications. My ceasar salad was overpowered by anchovies. The potatoes au gratin were runny and not cooked properly. Unfortunately, it was not a good experience. I would not recommend dinning Chops.
The food quality was poor, incorrect, service was slow, checks were wrong, waitress never brought back change.
We were promptly seated at a nice table with a view. We ordered a drink and were able to relax for a while which we appreciated. Our server, Myra, was very nice and attentive. The food was very good and decent portions. We enjoyed our evening and look forward to returning another time.

Steak was over-cooked. Waiter did not even offer to address. Desert recommendation was terrible. May be due to “Restaurant Week” coverage but still no excuse for mediocre experience. Will not be returning.
Food was delicious. Service was slow. Server was nonchalant. We were upstairs and it took forever to get wine refills. Servers were walking around with food and it seemed they weren’t really clear on where to bring it.
I was coming out of the restroom and motioned for a waitress who was carrying food to go ahead of me into the dining room. I said “you go- you have hot food.” Then she thanked me and promptly walked into the lane where the computer was. She put the food down and started using the computer. Calamari needs to be served hot! I’m glad we didn’t order it.
For the prices and the reputation of Chops, the service was disappointing.

Dessert was over cooked. The lamb chops and scallops were good. Our overall experience was not a good one. Even on the way out. No one wished us a good night and we walked past the manager.
I ordered the Filet Mignon and asked for medium cooked. It was well done and dry. I was disappointed but the other items were good.
Service and ambience were great, however i don't think a steakhouse should charge extra for things like a couple of anchovies on a salad or a small amount of blue cheese crumbles - i haven't been charged that at a steak place before. The food was good, steak a little bland and veggies were warm (not hot). Overall a good experience.
