About
A couple of months had elapsed since our last visit to Chutney's and I am pleased to report that standards have not dropped. One of the nicest things about living in London is that increases your chances of finding a great local Indian restaurant. This place really fits the description. the interior and menu is upmarket compared to a lot of Indian restaurants and it is taking us years to work through their range of special dishes.
Highly Recommended
Standards have never slipped in this lovely looking Curry House. Nicely decorated it is more upmarket than the standard local 'Indian'. The food tastes so fresh and clean and as a consequence has less negative after effects than some heavier exotic fare. there is a far wider choice of curries here including rare speciality dishes.
As ever we had a great time
After clearing up the confusion that we did actually attend out Open Table booking, I am pleased to report that all is well at the Chutney.
Our mission to work our way through the outstanding and often unusual curries offered here continues. Tonight's star turn was the lamb and spinach curry which was amazing. How these dishes all taste lighter and fresher than a standard Indian is a key selling point
We need to make a monthly pilgrimage here
Slightly off of Crystal Palace's main drag, virtually no one there on a Saturday night, absolutely no atmosphere I'm afraid to say. My partner's food (beef fajita) - well the beef was thick, chewy and he said pretty unedible. My food was very nice, if a bit too salty.
