If all else fails, there is affordable parking above the Eastlake market on Eastlake and Lynn Street, one block north of Serafina. .
First time here, all in all, the food was great. However a delay bringing our entrees to the table meant my halibut was barely lukewarm. I was disappointed because it was good and the sauce delicious but it would have been better if the fish was hot off the grill. Our server graciously removed the dish from our bill which was appreciated. That said, everything else was stellar and I recommend this restaurant. I will definitely go back.
Awesome! Great wine list.
I went to Cicchetti with a friend during happy hour and we had an amazing time! I got the pizza margherita and my friend got the "pizza of the day", soooo good. Perfectly cooked pizza goodness. I had a major case of food envy whenever I saw other food being prepared, so I will be coming back to try more of the menu. I definitely recommend Cicchetti if you are looking for somewhere relaxed with good food.
My parents just moved to the Seattle area and I've wanted to take them to a really good Seattle restaurant. Cicchetti did not disappoint. Everything we ordered was delicious. The bartender even made a special mocktail for my mother, that she absolutely loved. If I had one complaint, it's that the area where we were seated was very noisy due to the larger party next to us and my father is hard of hearing, so he was having trouble understanding the conversation. They were quite loud, even for the rest of us and we found ourselves really having to raise our voices to hear each other. Other than that, the entire experience was lovely.
Cicchetti is one of our go to restaurants. It is always tasty and there are good options to make a shared meal which is how we like to eat. Had the white bean spread and the lamb dolmas which are served warm and very flavorful. Also shared the vegetable medley and the whole grilled Branzino. Each had a glass of wine, the Barbara and the still Rose. And for desert the almond cake was delicious, very moist and served with an apricot compote. Finished the meal with a cappuccino. All in all we were very satisfied.
Cicchetti has a very tasty Mediterranean menu. Mezze (here, "cicchetti") are highly recommended if you have a small group and want to share. Offers al fresco patio dining. On a summer evening, sitting outside is perfect. Parking is limited to on-street and a space can be hard to find, but thankfully, you're away from the annoyances of downtown.
Excellent service and server was a big help in understanding the menu. Music was quite loud upstairs and made it difficult to talk across the table. Nearly all food options were quite spicy hot so we had very limited choices.
The food was good as was the service. The issue was that we were nearly asphyxiated by the smoke from the oven. Smoke poured to the second level and left a blue haze. People were fanning themselves or holding napkins to their mouths. My eyes were bloodshot. My clothes smelled. I had to take a shower to get the smoke scent off. Windows were open at both ends of the upper level but it didn't do any good.
If you go, stay downstairs or eat outside.
I am glad I paid attention to the latest Opentable email, what a find! We went for date night and had a great experience. The food was super yummy and creative without being esoteric. We sat upstairs and even though the room filled up we were able to have a conversation without raising our voices, giving us a intimate and romantic experience. Thank you, we will be back often!
Food was really excellent! Lamb dolmas, pomegranate muhummarah, falafel we're all taste explosions! Absolutely love the variety of flavors! Service was exceptional - comfortable, engaging and knowledgeable.
I eat at Cicchetti a lot and always enjoy the food and the servers. Great that they change their menu at least seasonally if not more frequently.
Cocktails are amazing and the staff is so friendly-
Great after work spot to unwind and enjoy a great meal!
One of the best restaurants in London. Francesco made my son very welcome to celebrate his birthday, among a restaurants of adults. Sensational!
Delicious food, ambient space and a wonderful gathering space. Would recommend for a third date, small birthday gathering or place to bring loved ones from out of town.
Love Cichetti! We ate upstairs this time and it was so romantic. Great views of the water and even better food. We ordered a sampler of apps including their lamb dolmas which are a must try. I got the special tuna which was delicious. The staff was super accommodating and switched out the sides for a dairy-free dish I could eat. My boyfriend got the steak and fries. Normally, fries are overlooked but these were amazing. Highly recommend.
Great cocktails, delicious food & wonderful staff!
Loved our first visit. Even better than Serafina to us. We'll definitely be back.
This is one of our favorite places to go. It is not inexpensive but you can count on it to always be tasty and different. The service has always been excellent as well.
We wanted to try the food after reading reviews. The starters were average. My husband got the grilled fish and it was decent. I ordered the spaghetti with lamb and it was extremely oily. There was no actual lamb meat on it. It was just chunks of lamb fat. The most heavy dish i have ever tasted really. Couldn’t continue eating after 2 bites. Shared my experience with our server but he didn’t offer me any options other than asking if we want the rest in a to go box. Obviously we didn’t. The almond cake was okay, but could have been better if served warm. The fig empanadas were doughy on the inside. Overall it was a very disappointing experience.
Tasty apps, good cocktails, nice ambiance, good for a date
Cicchetti has a great Happy Hour. Lasts till 6:30! The food choices are wonderful and varied and their house wine is very good. The wait staff are very friendly and helpful. I go there once a month with a buddy for happy hour.. always glad I did.
Great local find amazing dishes that are presented fabulously
We stopped for a light dinner before going to symphony. The evening’s wine was wonderful! And the small plates proved to be a great way to try several tasty dishes. We were a little confused but the menu until it was explained to us . Perhaps the service person should have clarified the menu as we were considering the selections. Otherwise, it was perfect.
What a surprise! We all loved the handcrafted thoughtful food. You will want to come back to try everything on the menu.
Good happy hour and nice atmosphere. The food was good, but we didn't feel like it was particularly special. Prices were high outside of happy hour. Parking was free and easy to find.
We would come again for happy hour.
Food and drink are quite good, but we were EXTREMELY disappointed with the hostess. She had no sense of customer service and seemed to be inexperienced. We got married at Cicchetti two years ago. We reserved the place and Maxine (who is no longer at Cicchetti) was fantastic in helping us with the menu and logistics. We had an amazing time. We decided to go back to celebrate our Anniversary (just my husband and I and our two teens). We noted it was a special occasion in the comments and requested seating upstairs. Our reservation was for 5:30, but were running early so arrived when they opened at 5:00, let the hostess know we had a reservation, and asked to do happy hour in advance of dinner.
The hostess took us to a table in the library. I asked if we could be seated upstairs since we were celebrating our anniversary. She said that they don't serve happy hour upstairs. We sat down, and then when our waiter came I told him we had a reservation at 5:30, and would it be possible for us to move upstairs to a table for dinner (just doing a drink and an appetizer downstairs). He said he didn't think it would be a problem.
Then, the hostess came to our table and said that they couldn't accommodate that. We could go upstairs now, but then we couldn't have happy hour. She said they were fully booked--albeit, our reservation wasn't til 5:30--so there is no reason she couldn't hold our table til 5:30. And, the place was empty when we arrived (for happy hour) and nobody was seated at any of the 3 other tables in the library until about 5 minutes before we left (probably around 6:30).
I probably should have been more forthright, but didn't want to seem agitated when we were celebrating our anniversary. I was absolutely astounded by the poor ( and in my option, unreasonable, given the circumstances) customer service from the hostess. It was such a bad experience that we will forgo what we had anticipated would be an anniversary tradition.
Sit at the bar on the weekends. The two bartenders are top notch. While they make a great classic cocktail, be adventurous and let them make you something special. Just give them the guidelines (what you like/don’t like) and you’ll be rewarded with something new and amazing. Also food is great. Ha.
Loved the ambiance here, the restaurant was romantic and cozy. The food was wonderful and creative, and the service was excellent. We ordered the cicchetti mix and duck confit cassoulet - the cicchetti were delicious and beautiful, but the cassoulet was so out of this world and flavorful! This was a wonderful spot for an anniversary celebration.
Excellent Valentine’s Day menu. Great service.
Very disappointed in table, felt cramped and too close to other table, food was undercooked and dry, portions small.
Table was not ready when arrived, even after restaurant called me 3 times to confirm I was coming.
Waiters had difficulty in serving us due to the closeness of the tables
Overall, will never go to this restaurant again, felt stuffed in to make more money
great food, very creative. Excellent service. A bit pricey but it is Seattle after all. We thoroughly enjoyed our Valentines Day dinner. We highly recommend Cicchetti.
Great, creative food. Good drinks and wine list too. My friend is vegetarian and we had plenty of options. Our service was great too.
Pre theatre dinner. Good tapas Entrees a little small in size but we had plenty kids good overall including dessert. Cost about $50 a head.
Really amazing experience. Jerry our waiter did a magnificent job. The food was fantastic. And Tuesdays is 30% off wine night. Couldn't ask for a better date night.
I went to Cicchetti for a date night with my boyfriend and really liked it! It was our first time going so we went ahead and made reservations for Happy Hour (goes until 6:30!!). I chose counter seating and absolutely appreciate the flexibility but arrived early and ultimate sat in a quiet corner both. The staff surprised us by informing us that on Tuesday you can get 30% off a bottle of wine. We ordered a Albarino which was actually the least expensive bottle on the list at $32. The wine was dry, local, and yummy. I can't eat dairy and the waitstaff was really great at suggesting dishes that supported my dietary restrictions. We ordered the lamb dolmas (with dairy so I didn't try) and two different dips. I followed up with some green beans and the boy had the paella. Both dishes were really tasty. The service was absolutely 5 stars and the only reason I give the restaurant is that the place is a bit pricey (not absurdly so but about $2-4 overprice per dish), and I wish there had been more dishes with fresh vegetables available.
The food is always good and service is fantastic!
I discovered this gem on my first day of move to my new Eastlake apt. Google review did not like - this is a true gem. Excellent food and drink. Extremely mannered staff. Great happy hour as well as dinner menu. A must go for Seattle dwellers.
Food here is absolutely amazing. Very inventive and expertly executed. If you want context, think of it as Italian tapas. So get your "adventurous" cap on, bring some friends who don't mind sharing some small plates with each other and get ready to expand your horizons.
A hidden gem... every dish was superbly prepared and presented. The service was even better!
