Set up by Pascal Aussignac of Club Gascon fame in 2011 the restaurant received glowing reviews for its well priced and varied Provencal menu set within the chic surroundings of a former auction house.
Diners enjoy the best of the South East of France and Corsica in dishes rarely seen here in the UK. Combining earthy flavours of the countryside with lighter coastal dishes, the menu provides a varied choice, accompanied by delightful wines from the same region. Secluded booths, banquette seating and a luxurious private dining room all enhance Cigalon's beautiful interior.
In the basement below sits Baranis bar where bespoke cocktails are enjoyed over a game of pétanque.

Excellent food and service from the team at Cigalon.
Excellent food and intelligent, communicative service. As brilliant as usual!
Great service and beautiful food. Would definitely recommend.
Ambiance lacking as few people dining meant the room felt cold and clattery. But delicious and delightful food accompanied by a. Good value bin end bottle.
Last minute mid week dining reservation, service was great throughout - very chatty and attentive.
Food was great and beautifully presented. Great dining experience overall, depending on your tastes.
Excellent food and value. Lovely friendly and efficient service.
We had such an enjoyable evening - the food was exceptional and the service perfectly timed - the food was perfectly balanced with excellent Corsican rose - Jorge is a superb manager who makes one fee at home and relaxed - go there !!
The ambience and wait staff were amazing. Our waitress in particular was charming and helpful. It’s a lovely venue. The food was tasty, the main was great and the wine list. The pastry was a bit hard with the dessert unfortunately
Wonderful food. Very attentive service. Looking forward to a return trip.
We had the offer menu with 3 choices of starter, main course and dessert/cheese. Food was delicious and hot, sides good too. Staff pleasant, we weren’t rushed at all even when it was busy as we left. Thanks :)
Short notice booking was accepted at one of me secret favourites - don't tell anyone about the good food, great service an sublime surroundings.
Always so dependable - love coming here for lunch.
First visit food was lovely great flavours. I had hake which was well cooked followed by a pear tart also great.good service and atmosphere.will be back
Lovely, stylish restaurant with friendly and attentive staff. Food is interesting and beautifully presented but very small. We left a little hungry after 3 courses as portions are so small - so expect to eat beforehand or after! The dishes would be better if you could order a selection of them to the table but the menu doesn't really allow for that. Still worth a visit anyway.
Delicious, very good quality set menu that offered great value. They are very liberal with pouring of the wine (maybe to make up for the lower margin on the very well priced set menu), but that's a small thing. Great cooking & a very good evening.
Cigalon always delights us - imaginative menus well sourced and beautifully prepared; attentive and good-humoured young staff who support without being obsequious. Lovely secret place!
Very nice food, portions on the smaller side, fixed price menu, nice ambience, impeccable service, on the pricier side (50 GBP per head incl. service for a 3-course menu, sparkling water, no wine). They could invest in a water filter for the tap water, or offer still/sparkling water for a fixed fee as other good restaurants do. Instead, you pay for little extras such as a second bread/tapenade (all nice but) 3 GBP and sides which all adds up.
Great service, interesting food and great lunch time set menu
Great food in a good location. The pork chops were particularly good!
Perfect location for a business lunch.
Impeccable service, nice design and deserves its name: the food definitely tastes "provencal"
The Cigalon ambiance was perfect for the occasion. And the staff were charming.
Great place and stylishly presented food. The dessert was mouthwatering.
This was a small Dinner for 8 organised in the private room as part of a set of Golden Wedding celebrations. It was perfect: food, wine, service, ambience. We will be booking for our 100th wedding anniversary.
Excellent lunch with delicious fish in particular.
Lovely restaurant, consistently excellent food, just wish the portions were a bit larger!
Excellent food and attention to flavors and detail was exceptional. The half of a roasted peach as accompaniment to my grilled chicken was perfect.
Cool ambience. Professional service. Food excellent at a fair price.
It was nice to offered old fashioned Frencgh regional food and not some fusion or another. we need more of this honesty
Table location was excellent if you like watching people cook. Service was very smooth and unobtrusive. Food was really enjoyable. Overall a good experience.
At 36 pounds for a 3 course dinner meal in london you would think you have found a real value for money gem....not until the dishes are presented in small portion do you realise that it is far from being value for money. As for the quality i am afraid that flavour wise it is not much better than a meal for two from m&s. It is touted as provencale food but food from that region is bold in flavours expresssing the joie de vivre and warmth of that land. Cigalon food on the other hand is heartless cooked my chefs who i imagine have not really tasted the real deal.
Lovely setting and very light. Food always good. Good value.
Nice restaurant. Attentive staff. Good food and wine. Great for a business dinner.
Tapenade, squid and red Provencales wine were excellent
This was a family meal together before an extended holiday to the Antipodes. As a lover of Provencal cuisine, Cigalon was a perfect choice and the varied menu kept everybody happy. Even though we have several food issues the kitchen was able to accommodate us all. I would happily recommend this restaurant to anyone.
As always, Cigalon excelled itself with the kindness and professionalism of its staff -- particularly Jorge on this occasion -- and the delicious menu, so beautifully balanced and presented. The Corsican wine is excellent and accompanies the food superbly. It is such a relaxing, beautiful space in which to eat, served by gorgeous people. My friends were most impressed and wish they could eat there as often as I do.
Very well looked after and food delicious! Thank you
Good enough other than the mountainous challenge of getting service, which is pretty critical for business lunches... Please don't ignore a table even if not every single person is sat down.
Very nice. Spent more than intended but great evening. If you go get a booth. Really comfortable.
Wonderful set lunch menu. Service was great - responsive but not hovering.
