Sunday Lunch
In a former public house in the well-to-do London village of Isleworth is Cinnamon Lounge, a popular Indian restaurant with a relaxed, contemporary vibe. Spacious and utterly modern, the Cinnamon Lounge’s interior has one eye on design and another on comfort. The most has been made of the long bar, a hangover from Cinnamon Lounge’s past life as a pub, where diners enjoy a cold drink before or after their meal, encouraged to make themselves comfortable. Cinnamon Lounge aims to offer a unique and progressive representation of Indian cuisine using traditional methods and ingredients but taking a contemporary gastronomic approach at the same time. The result is a varied and exciting menu of authentic yet imaginative regional dishes.

Didn't realise that Sunday was a buffet. It would have been helpful if the dishes displayed mild/moderate/high chilli levels. It was very busy but staff were friendly and polite. The food tasted good. Loved having the option of alcohol free cobra beer.

Unwelcoming. Very slow service, had to ask a person who worked in the back who was not a waiter to serve us and he was very nice, if he hadn't done so we would have left. They should employ him as front man! Wrong dish was served. Service was unfriendly, like we were not wanted there. As they served the wrong dish I had to eat my food after the person accompanying me had finished his. Is a large restaurant which is a little chilly, absolutely no effort by the waiters and no ambience, there was some background music but could hardly hear it. Shame because the food is very good and has been since they opened. No good for couples.

Very nice place, reasonable selection food was fresh and replenished regularly. Might be helpful to let people know how to order naan/rotis/bread. Would definitely recommend this place. Good VFM.

This is one of our go to places for Indian food. We really like the buffet there. It has vegetarian as well as meant options. They have lovey starters as well.

The ala Carte is nice too. We usually go with our family. Seating okay but we love the food there.

Not keen on the decor...more like a school canteen...first the older waiter took our order rather briskly and had very nice starters but a bit spicy...we asked for water ....we had to ask another waiter and finally it arrived...we then ordered 2 main courses but only 1 arrived so we then had to ask yet another waiter fot our additional dinner from yet another waiter. The restaurant wasnt busy just disorganised.
When paying the bill the older waiter decided for us that he was getting a 9.00 tip as he gave us incorrect change....

Super tasty curries with authentic character. We had chana massala and King prawn massala with garlic naan, poppadoms and rice. All served quickly by polite staff. It was 20 mins walk from Twickers - great for a pre-match lunch - many buses if you don't fancy walking.

Food was ok, a bit on the spicy side for my liking. Service was quite slow and the waiter could not speak English very well. Ample parking on-site.

There were not enough staff to accommodate a busy evening hence the service was extremely slow and rushed.

I've had two evening meals and a Sunday Buffet Lunch here and the food has been excellent. It's good to find curries that don't "sit on your stomach" for hours afterwards nor ones which are all sauce and barely any meat!
The service is good. It's difficult to find a balance between over attentive and ignoring the customer but this is just about right.
Definitely worth trying are the Masala Poppadums - quite spicy - and Afghani Tikka, where the chicken just melts in the mouth!

The website and the restaurant are at odds. I was looking for fresh, organic and gluten free friendly I found an uninspired Indian restaurant. The staff were not at all knowledgeable about the food or the menu. The dishes were conventional, the ingredients not organic & nobody except the "manager", knew if the dishes were safe for us. He came out at the staff behest & a long wait, only to mumble and quickly point out the numbers of the dishes we could eat. Later, someone who appeared to be an assistant manager finally handed us a plastic spreadsheet from the back office listing all allergens after we continued to struggle with the ordering. Not the best experience for a family with three small hungry kids to manage. They ate mostly rice.

This was my first visit to the restaurant. Although, the food was good, we landed up on the day the restaurant serves buffet and so the place was very noisy. The ambience was good and the food was value for money.

A group of 5 had dinner there on a sat night. On ordering the food it took almost an hour for our main course to come out., The starter portions were small. The quality of the food was good, but I will not be going back there in the future due to the lack of service received.

Fab food, great service from a waitress called Shritu & Indian cuisine that I hadn't tried before. Had heard of the Cinnamon Lounge from friends, but this was my first visit & would definitely go again. Would made it even better was the car park as parking in this part of Isleworth is not easy.

Close to West Middlesex Hospital in Isleworth the Cinnamon Lounge is indeed just what the doctor ordered!: the food here is simply superb and the service exemplary! On this visit I was simply treating myself after payday! I chose the spinach patties with feta cheese inside as a starter (very good), but for non-beginners(!) I HIGHLY recommend the Chicken Mongolian (which I usually order!). As a main I had Reshmi Tikka (also excellent). Busy at weekends and one of my favourites in west London.

Food is great (slightly spicier than normal, but matches Indian home cooking), but service is very slow... Pleasant staff - just not enough of them! Note food quantity seemed less than a previous visit, but still decent.

The food is the main thing, hence decent score.
