Googled closest Indian restaurant to Manchester Airport as were were picking relatives up. The Cinnamon Tree came out nearest. Booked a table online. Was very pleased with the food which was lovely. Good sized portions. Thought it was quite expensive though compared to our local Indian restaurant which is in a nicer setting and has nicer decor. The Cinnamon Tree would benefit from an update particularly the upstairs toiled facilities. Nice friendly Staff however and would go again if
the occasion arose.
Excellent food, service and value for money, as always...thanks so much!
Our first visit for my hubby's birthday, the service was excellent, food absolutely delicious, I would definitely recommend and definitely return, many thanks.
First time wont be the last food and service was amazing and prices very good
Classic suburban, high-street curry house offering all the usuals. Staff polite and efficient, and good value for money all round.
Love it here. Awesome food and extremely lovely staff
Food choices good and food tasty Lacks good ambience
Waiters attentive to requirements
The restaurant had us booked for the wrong time, not sure if this was their error or Open Tables. They did however manage to fit us in at a wobbly/wonky table
Food was OK although the Madras was really mild. This was our first visit but i dont think we will be going back
Excellent food. Extensive menu. Modern environment. Highly recommended.
Not the of currys ,time between courses could have been a little longer
First time at the Cinnamon Tree and great meal - will definitely be going back there soon
Been many times food always excellent. Friendly staff. Would recommend.
Not open, waited until 1715 but it didn't open so left
Food was lovely, staff very friendly, very nice atmosphere. Good value menu with there special menus! Would recommend!!!!
Really lucky find as just stopping one night before flying out to holidays but will definitely be back despite having just had a large group in we were seated quickly and service and food were great
The food was really nice and the service was warm, friendly. It has become a family favourite.
We went with friends to celebrate Christmas. We had a delicious meal, with excellent service. We will definitely be visiting again soon
Great value lovely food friendly atmosphere. pleasant staff.
Arrived promptly for a 17.30 booking and had to wait for the restaurant to be opened. Ordered the set meal for 2 and one main was fair to good, the other was poor.
A tradesman arrived during our meal and started measuring up for a new floor. This kind of thing should be done when the restaurant is closed to customers.
Also ordered a bottle of rose from the wine list and a different bottle was placed on the table without any explanation. I only noticed because I read the label. Complained to the waiter but was just told that they had run out of my original choice.
Not particularly good value, and poor service.
Won't be returning.
Lovely friendly staff and great food , great deals , clean and tidy , good choice ,
We enjoyed our visit to the restaurant recently, it was recommended by a friend. although we do not live close by we decided to try it out. On our 2nd visit a week later we came with our friend and as before the food was very nice tasty and a sensible portion. the price is good value for money. As we chose a Sunday for our 2nd visit it was much busier and therefore caused quite a wait for a table and our main course meal.. next time we shall have to take into consideration the peak periods and try to avoid them.. The staff were all pleasant and worked hard to see to everyone's needs and were dressed smart. all in all I would recommend The Cinnamon Tree and we hope to return again soon.
Took a French student who is staying with us this time. He really enjoyed the whole dining experience - small friendly restaurant with excellent food.
Saturday 16th May.
Our first visit to the Cinnamon Tree. We were both extremely impressed. The food was superb and the
Staff were very very friendly and helpfull.
Hopefully back again this Saturday.
I was hear midweek at 19:30, and the place was empty except one of person, so there was little atmosphere. I'm sure that later towarsd the weekend it perks up here. The house red was cheap, but sadly also tasted cheap. However, the food was very tasty and much recommended. The waiter offered me a good receommendation based on what I felt like, and they wrap the meal up with some nice little free treats. WOuld definitely go again.
Good friendly service as always. Great tasting food at a very reasonable price.
Went on Mon with a party of 10.
Quite an ambitious menu, but even on a quietish Mon teatime everything was available. Service, food quality & portions were really good. Thoroughly enjoyed - thanks.
Excellent food great staff and fantastic value. Will definitely be back again soon
Would definetly go again and recommend anyone to go
We dined here after travelling to Manchester for a flight the next day. I had read reviews before booking that all praised this restaurant and we were not disappointed. The food was very, very good and very plentiful, the menu quite extensive with the standard traditional dishes and a good range of special dishes which is what we all had and they were delicious. All washed down with a great pint of Cobra! The service was very friendly and there was a nice relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Cinnamon Tree to anyone either from the area or just visiting and will definitely return if I get the chance. Thank you to all the staff and keep up the high standard.
We were looking for somewhere to eat at 10pm and this restaurant was close and open so we thought we would try it. Food was good, I went for a couple of the vegetarian side dishes which were nice. Service was good and it was quick just as we needed it to be
First class service and attention. Friendly and helpful staff an extensive menu, and excellent value. Our first visit, but by no means our last.
The food at this resturant was very nice and the device was also good
We went here last minute on a Saturday night after not being able to get a table until late evening at another restaurant. Despite there being a number of Indian restaurants in Sale, we decided to go over to Cheadle due to the good reviews and the fact that they'd won a round table award. We were not disappointed. The staff were attentive without being too in your face, and the food was lovely. I asked our waiter if the Tandoori Chicken Saag (Deshi style) was spicy, and he offered to ask the chef to reduce the spice level - the result was perfect and thoroughly enjoyable. I had two glasses of the house white wine, which was very nice, and when they say a large, they mean a large. I would definitely go again.
Staff very polite and friendly excellent vaue for money , food great
cinemon tree heald green ,is always very good. had another good meal
Having booked a table in advance you would have expected to have one reserved. However, we were taken to the upstairs room. One very drab scruffy place in sharp contrast to the lower floor. Service then was very slow and you get the impression that you get forgotten about in the upper area. Its a shame really because the food is very good. This was our 3rd visit recently but will not return after being treated this way. The other 2 occasions were excellent when seated downstairs. Would suggest that you demand this area if booking in advance.
The sunday special is excellent value. Child friendly.
Entertained my children there recently for my sons 21st birthday and really enjoyed it. The meals were very lovely and tasteful.
