Cipriani - Dolci
We plan to reopen as soon as it is deemed safe to do so. In the meantime, we will continue to support our communities, customers and employees any way we can.
Cipriani Dolci has fast created its very own Cipriani "scene" thanks to its chic ambiance, attentive service and well-priced Venetian menu. The restaurant offers all day casual dining and the bar has become a lively after work meeting place, renowned for its charming bartenders and sensational tower of prosciutto.

Even when there's a screw-up, as there was with my food order, they make it right immediately. The customer comes first.
We had a lovely dinner at Cipriani (Grand Central Terminal)- I was a little disappointed that there were not as many fish dishes to choose from. I ended up with the Eggplant which was delicious- Although my meal cost as much as one glass of wine!! Service was great,
Ordered hamburger medium. It was mostly raw. Pasta (veal sauce) overcooked, too salty and cheesy. Bellini did not live up to hype - didn’t taste fresh. Service was good and bread was good though
It was nice
We had an amazing experience at Cipriani. The service was top notch, the food...perfection, and the ambiance was like no other. A place we will go back to the next time we’re in the city.
Nice view, fantastic energy. Polished server and decent food...but not worth the premium. A quick drink and appetizer would have been sufficient.
Bella atmosfera, cibo ottimo, prezzi molto alti, lo frequento da 15 anni e ogni volta è più costoso. Ma ne vale la pena.
Amaaaazing veal tonnatto.
not worth the money. won't go again wouldnt recommend
Terrific food, service and atmosphere.
My best friend and I decided to meet at Grand Central Station to have lunch and catch up. This was a perfect way to spend a few hours. The food was delicious; we split a burger & fries and a rigatoni Bolognese. We had Bellini cocktails and shared their famous vanilla layer cake. A bit pricey but worth it for the location, food and service.
Good ambience and not nearly as loud ask thought. Service wasn’t great had to look back and signal a few times for help. Very expensive food is good. Fish was very good filet was tough to cut with embarrassing steak knife.
Our valentines day celebrations were made extra special by dinning at Cipriani - Dolci. We were over from the UK and to celebrate our evening in Grand central was amazing. Food was fantastic as was the service. Atmosphere was very romantic.
Our food came out in a timely manner. I ordered the cheeseburger and fries. Even though I asked for well done burger, I was amazed at how juicy it was and tasty! My friend order the pasta Faggioli soup and thoroughly enjoyed it. This is our second time there and I look forward to returning again soon. The service and attention to our table was impeccable. Everyone was professional, polite and with a smile on their faces. Thank you.
This is a great place to meet our family when we come from CT and they NYC. Numerous offerings. Attentive service. Many choices. The salad offerings were varied and delicious. It was pricy for a first course, entree, dessert and two beverage.
Staff excellent! Food very good and worth the little extra.
This place is centrally located at the famous Grand Central Central Station. We were seated at the balcony and had a view of the main concourse. My husband and I had a dinner date last Friday, 2/7/2020. I ordered shrimp salad for my appetizer and salmon fish for my main course. Food is outstanding! Staff are friendly. Will definitely dine again.
Went for the restaurant week experience. The Portions were very small. Food was good, nothing spectacular.
Efficient and great Italian food. A little noisy but the setting is iconic NYC !
Great dining experience! Look forward to coming back..
Ridiculously over priced. Had run out of about 6 options, waiter seemed proud of this. Vastly over priced.
Great for a delicious lunch and people-watching at Grand Central. Impeccable service, scrumptious Italian and American starters, entrées and desserts.
Always impeccable at this Cipriani location. Fun, fast-paced, bustling environment overlooking the lower level from West Balcony. Food is great, just like all the Cip’s!!
A fun venue to talk business with lots of energy and nice food.
Staff very pleasant service good
We were given “ prime real estate seating “
Fantastic view of grand central station whilst eating dinner
Would recommend for out of town experience with atmosphere
It’s not a private intimate experience but perfect if your visiting New York and enjoying the sites
Dined with my daughter and I
Great food, very small portions, incredibly expensive.
Great food and service
Food was average. It lacked flavour although there was a lot of it. Tables are very close together but it was a great ambience
Always perfect. Great service. Great atmosphere.
Thank you !!
What a wonderful experience! I’d like to register the staff’s kindness w/ me and me girls. They save my day. I received a Bellini as a courtesy! Marvelous !!!
Like having lunch in a train station in Italy, loved it!
What a disappointment. My friend ordered a side of vegetables with her dinner, it didn't come out until she finished eating her dinner. My other friend ordered a chicken dinner and she was very disappointed. The risotto wasn't fully cooked either, she couldn't eat it because it was hard. Service was horrible. The waiter was not friendly, and we waited a half hour for our check so we could pay and leave, until finally we asked for the manager that told us that our waiter had LEFT . I guess he went home without worrying about if we paid or not. Manager took money off for the cocktails we had ordered. We couldn't wait to leave there and it was a huge disappointment for my friend as this was her birthday dinner. I felt like a heel because I had suggested this place. NEVER AGAIN
My best friend and I decided to celebrate her birthday with a girls day in the city. The dinner at Ciprani Dolci was to be the finale to a spectacular day. I would have liked to go to the original restaurant but due to the time constraint the 42nd street location was more convenient. I must admit for the caliber of dining that Cipriani boasts this setting leaves much to be desired. The seating is cramped and reminiscent of a diner rather than fine dining no matter how they try to dress it up with table linens. Although the service is expedient, it was uncomfortable to have multiple waitstaff and made this a less personalized experience. Finally and possibly the most disappointing was the food. I live in Southern Connecticut and frequent locale Italian restaurants that provide a more extensive sampling of dishes that are both more flavorful and served with better presentation. For the cost of the meal I had at Cipriani I am thoroughly disappointed to have received no more than half-cooked lukewarm pasta and a salty beef sauce, in an atmosphere reminiscent of a lunch counter at a truck stop. I guess you live and learn.
Delicious food in a lovely historic part of Grand Central
