Clary's Bar & Grill at the Casino Milton Keynes Ratings and Reviews
Sade was out waitress and her service was impeccable always smiling and friendly
However the gentlemen who also assisted her was not as polite and friendly and I felt this marred the experience slightly
But sade was the highlight for us what a truly lovely lady
Don't be put off that this restaurant is in a Casino! We went (mum and daughter) for a post-theatre 3 course meal - a little hesitant that being in a Gambling House we may feel 'out of place' - but it was amazing. The atmosphere and ambience was very comfortable, the food was outstanding, and the Waitress with a broken hand! was first class. I would thoroughly recommend to all (apart from children sadly for obvious reasons).
Our first visit to celebrate 93 year old Mothers birthday for Sunday lunch. Reasonable choice of food, but the value as to the cost £2 for starters and deserts and £5 for main course, was excellent. Though the price was relatively small the portions were not and you certainly didn't leave the table hungry. Shame the soft drinks can be dearer than the beer but you can't have it all!
Highly recommended for a Sunday Lunch.
I have only just joined the Casino primarily to enjoy a drink before my twice weekly visit to the Cinema. However, the venue ambience and service is second to none, consequently I chose to take friend for a lunch. The standard and value of the Sunday Lunch is exceptional.
We decided to change our regular place and try something new. What a pleasant surprise. The service was exceptional and the food delicious. It was nice to be able to look at the casino while eating. Restaurant was extremely clean as were the facilities in the casino. We will definitely be returning in the future.
Excellent value for money, can't think of anywhere else in milton keynes you could get a meal like that for £5! The food was good quality and we'll cooked and the staff were courteous, friendly and went out of their way to ensure all was well.
The only negative, as far as we are concerned is that we would have preferred to have a smaller amount of food but better presented on the plate. In direct contrast the trifle I had for dessert was beautifully presented, both looking and tasting good.
We are regulars at the casino but have only eaten with you once before, which was also excellent. For myself, having had most of my stomach removed, that great quantity of food on my plate was rather off putting. However, we will definitely be making this a once a month treat for ourselves. I particularlyliked the fact that there was plenty of space for my wheelchair to maneuver without disturbing other diners.
Overall an excellent experience. Well done
My partner and I took our mums for Mothers Day. we could not believe the price of the starter and main course the Roast dinner. We were to full for a dessert. The staff were so helpful and friendly. We even got a free glass of Prosecco. I will definitely be going back with family and friends
Intended going for the steak and fries deal but looked at the main menu and we both decided to try the green thai curry. Both of us were of the same opinion the portion was good but the chicken wasnt quite right the pieces were huge and didnt taste right. We didnt complan but they noticed we left the chicken and gave us 25% off the bill - wont stop me going again and next time Ill try the steak
The food was excellent, the waiter was very good. Only complaint was the loud music that greeted us when we first arrived, we asked if we could sit as far away as possible and that was fine and I think the waiter turned it down a bit too. Although I booked the table on the internet when we arrived there was no booking on the computer, fortunately we were eating early and the place was almost empty. Would certainly go again.
I celebrated my 40th birthday there with 4 people. I booked online just over a week in advance and, as a result, the tables were fully booked except for an early evening booking (4.45). However, when we arrived there were no other tables booked at all and indeed only one couple arrived after we had finished our meal. This was perfect for me because it meant it was quiet, we could choose our table and had excellent personal service. The waitresses were all very nice (the main one in particular who greeted us), the food was excellent and I got my meal for free after happening to mention it was my birthday (the main waitress had gone out of her way to authorise this with her manager). We visited the casino after the meal and it did get noisier later but the restaurant still seemed relatively empty (the noise from the casino does carry through to the restaurant but I'd rather hear that sort of noise than screaming children, which you don't get in there). For that reason alone, I would happily visit again.
