Very good food and very cute place. We had oysters, mussels and the branzino, all were very tasty. The service could have been better, a bit too slow, we thought the waitress forgot about us several times. But overall great experience and I will come back.
The branzino is next level! This is where we come when we want to impress out of town guests - the food is amazing, the wine list is great, and the atmosphere is beautiful. One of our favorites!
Worth the drive!
Cheese and Meat charcuterie was wonderful .
The rustic decor is refreshing and an escape from Los Angeles city life.
Our Brunch was absolutely perfect! The stuff was so attentive and courteous 🙏Will be back soon, curious to try more dishes and definitely get ceviche again👌 The patio itself is a tropical paradise, ahahaha, If they didn’t close after brunch we would’ve stayed for dinner too!!!
The portions could’ve been bigger but food was good just a bit pricey.
Very unique venue and indoor/outdoor atmosphere. Some of our food arrived less than warm and waiter and manager jumped on it to make it right. Very good food. Will definitely come back.
This is an unpretentious and surprisingly great place to dine. The service is very good. Even the lower priced wines on the list are very good. The one we picked was unavailable, and the owner or manager personally suggested an excellent alternative that we loved. As for the food, the pastas are recommended, and the mussel appetizer is to die for. Enjoy.
Another wonderful experience here --yummy food ..comes fast but they never rush you
Took my parents (who are from out of town, and never visit LA) and we had the loveliest time. Sat outside in a cozy balcony -- it was quiet and beautiful, food was fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere was nothing short of delightful. Even my dad said, "Well, I guess LA isn't so bad if they've got places like this."
Great outdoor dining space, excellent food, but a bit on the pricy side.
Everyday dining with great outdoor ambiance.
Great restaurant for a date. Food is amazing and service is friendly and attentive.
Food was pretty tasteless but atmosphere is amazing!
Outstanding design of the outside dining space-- feels like you're in the jungle of Thailand with all the bamboo and designs/levels for the tables--, amazing food, awesome service, and has an ambiance that tops I think almost every restaurant I've been to in LA.
Mosquito bites was a bit annoying
Our evening at Cliff's Edge was wonderful. We started at the bar having cocktails made by Steve who is a master of the cocktail craft. Burning Giraffe, John Daily, and Liquid Swords were all outstanding. Dinner was equally wonderful: Oysters, Parker House rolls parmesan, beurre bordier demi-sel and Salmon rillettes toast dill, crème fraiche, lemon, cornichons, crispy shallots to start followed by Wild mushroom pappardelle chestnuts, crispy parmesan, charred kale, crème fraiche and Bone-in new york strip potato, agro dolce onions, shishito peppers, veal jus for our main courses and finally, Sticky toffee pudding –agro dolce apple | hazelnuts | crème fraiche for dessert, all served professionally by Lianne who was very helpful with making selections. We didn't want to evening to end so it was back to the bar to sample some Amari...thank you Steve!
Love this place, amazing service, delicious food, beautiful meal presentation.
Very relaxing atmosphere. Service is great and food was delicious.
Great experience and professional service. I’d definitely go again.
Lackluster experience on all fronts. The Venue is beautiful but the service was poor. Oysters arrived improperly shucked, with no offer of fixing the issue. Drinks took twenty minutes to be prepared. Wait staff and servers were frenetically rushing around the entire time we were there. Lots of other restaurants in the neighborhood that provide better service and food for the value.
Food was lovely as always and service was great too! xox
We love cliffs edge. That being said our server was poor. She didn’t realize we were there at first. Then offered water and forgot to bring it. Flagged down a busboy and asked for water which he did. Thank you. Server came back apologized and asked to take our order. We ordered a round of martinis and she asked if we knew our order. We told her our order. I assumed she would space out the cocktails and dinner. Nope. Everything came at the same time! Quick food or slow cocktails? Needless to say we were done with dinner in 30 minutes! We left full but disappointed.
Great atmosphere mediocre food. The servers were slow and not very attentive
Fun but not as outstanding as i thought it might be. Still happy to have went.
Good atmosphere and interesting menu
Love, love Cliff’s Edge. An oasis in the city. Great food, ambiance. Fun bar scene too.
love this place...when you enter the restaurant, get ready for a surprise. Feels like you are on a vacation having the best time with good food and good ambience.
here for a birthday celebration.... tyler was our server and was awesome! beautiful setting, indoors or outside on the patio.... can’t go wrong! enjoyed very much👍
Baliesque ambience , xcharming and feels as if one is in a tropical garden. Zen like appeal with a twist on California style menu .
Servers were attentive and very polite... be sure to make reservations !
I loved the atmosphere and the snapper dish. Large servings. Oh and the oysters were delicious.
Excellent food and cosmopolitans. A little expensive.
Too many mosquitoes but Noce venue
Nice. They did the classic, “wait at the bar until your whole party is here” move to encourage more drinking. Then when we are all there, they had to “clean” the table which really meant the last person had time to also buy a drink at the bar. And not their fault exactly, but annoying narcissists with their barking out of control dogs—i love dogs, but not barking and running around.
Perfect for date night. You literally eat in a tree house.
The atmosphere was good and the food came out quick. It’s a really cute place to go on a date or just have Brunch with friends
the bussers and servers made us feel totally rushed. They took wine carafs too soon (still half full which they emptied into glass without even asking), cleared appetizers when we were still nibbling, took glasses and plates non-stop - basically hovered like there was a shortage of dishes in the kitchen. then, my biggest peeve, they asked to clear 1 plate of my friend who still had a bit of food on her plate - while the other 3 of us were still eating - I can's stand when dinner plates are cleared as others are still finishing dinner - it's rude and again, feels rushed. We would have ordered desert and coffee if we didn't feel so pressured to flip the table. When spending almost $400 on a dinner for four - I don't appreciate being constantly interrupted with people taking things off our table and clearly moving us out the door in order to make room the for next person (btw...we were only there 1hr 15 min so it wasn't like we lingered for hours)
Also, the food was underseasoned
Always a pleasure to dine at Cliff's Edge! Such a calming atmosphere and amazing food. Yummy. A true Silverlake Gem!
Fantastic find...both indoors and outdoors are great
