Clos Maggiore is an oasis of calm in the heart of Covent Garden. Influenced by the stylish country inns of Provence and Tuscany its unique interiors create a warmth and intimacy enjoyed by both business and private parties. The conservatory has a fully retractable glass roof creating a bright and airy dining space. Our extensive cellar at Clos Maggiore includes over 2,000 labels and was extended earlier this year to include an additional 400 wines at a low – mid price range. We are very proud to have been awarded the “Best of Award of Excellence” consistently since 2003 by Wine Spectator.

    Nestled in Argentina's Mendoza region, Bodega Catena Zapata has redefined the country's wine industry. Founded in 1902 by Nicola Catena, an Italian immigrant, and now led by Nicolás Catena Zapata, the winery is famous for elevating Malbec to global recognition. Pioneering high-altitude viticulture in the Andes, Catena Zapata is renowned for its exceptional wines that showcase Mendoza’s unique terroir, securing its place among the world’s premier wine producers. Hosted by Eclio Dumon, UK Brand Ambassador and Dr Adrianna Dr. Adrianna Catena A fourth-generation vintner and historian, Adrianna is based in London. She co-founded El Enemigo Wines in 2009 with winemaker Alejandro Vigil and recently expanded to Spain with Bodega El Reventón, an off-grid winery in Sierra de Gredos. Adrianna holds a DPhil in History from Balliol College, Oxford, specializing in the Early Modern Iberian Atlantic. Eclio Dumon Eclio serves as the UK Brand Ambassador for Catena Zapata. With 15 years of experience across the U.S., Spain, and the UK, he’s spent the past seven years building the brand in the UK. He holds an MBA from SDA Bocconi, Milan, and a WSET Level 3 certification in Wines & Spirits. This exclusive wine dinner is held in our sumptuous blossomed ceiling and wood panelled dining room, with log fires in winter and tall windows opening on to the terraces of Covent Garden in Summer, it’s the perfect spot to enjoy a magical few hours wining and dining in great style.  The exclusive event begins at 6.30pm with an introduction to the Brand Hosts.     SUPER wonderful place, extremely good food that is at michelin level. the atmosphere was fantastic. due to the lack of small details that I personally prefer, for example candles on the table, or a small flower, or possibly caviar as an accessory, I therefore only give 4/5. but don't be scared by my review this place is HUGELY WORTH A VISIT.

    Beautiful, elegant and quaint are a few of the words that come to mind from our visit. The staff was friendly and attentive without being too overbearing. The wine list, it goes without saying, is outstanding and is accessible from all price points. Our meal of crab tarte, soy marinated tuna, beef and venison was outstanding. Playing is beautiful and while the portions are on the smaller side, they are just right. The sauce with the venison was simply elegant. Fresh blueberry sorbet to finish was terrific. Will be back again.

    My daughter and I had a very enjoyable evening together being wined and dined with delicious food and drink. The atmosphere is intimate and cosy which enabled us to have a good catch up. My only slight complaint was that we were sat near their hatch door which meant I was in a chilly draft all evening. Thank you chef and staff.

    Excellent ambience within the restaurant, albeit I did not make it very far in as was placed on the first table by the entrance. Food was excellent, as you would expect/want for the price point, albeit the menu was very limited. I was surprised to see that the vintage of the wine I ordered was different and was more surprised to understand that the restaurant was attempting to seel a 2018 vintage of a Bordeaux at the same price as a 2015 (a far better year). This seemed inappropriate.
