Clos Maggiore is an oasis of calm in the heart of Covent Garden. Influenced by the stylish country inns of Provence and Tuscany its unique interiors create a warmth and intimacy enjoyed by both business and private parties. The conservatory has a fully retractable glass roof creating a bright and airy dining space, particularly lovely during the Spring and Summer seasons. It is transformed at night by candles, starlight and a crackling fire during the Winter months. Head Chef Marcellin Marc cooks sublime Provençal inspired cuisine with contemporary panache. Marcellin is committed to using locally sourced seasonal ingredients to create perfectly balanced menus which were awarded three AA-rosettes since 2008. Our extensive cellar at Clos Maggiore includes over 2,000 labels and was extended earlier this year to include an additional 400 wines at a low – mid price range. We are very proud to have been awarded the “Best of Award of Excellence” consistently since 2003 by Wine Spectator.

We were lucky enough to be seated in the centre of the conservatory. It’s absolutely stunning and the perfect place for a romantic special occasion.
The food was delicious, but the wine is very expensive.
Still, we had a lovely meal and I’d definitely come back.

The 2/3 course set lunch was amazing value, with food that was so delicious, perfectly seasoned and served with a quiet confident flair. The half bottle of wine was some of the best "house" wine I've ever had. Service impeccable. Charming cosy ambience. I'm looking forward to my next visit.

Overall a very good experience.
We were seated in The dining room not the conservatory, the dining room is very nice but would have liked the conservatory. The cloakroom arrangement was a bit disorganised. The food was very good and for fine dining the lunch fixed price was good value. We ordered a side of spinach which was unnecessary as main was enough without it. Side was a bit pricey for what it Was

My wife and I enjoyed dinner here last night. Absolute wonderful experience! Some of the best food we’ve had and just a beautiful restaurant. The service was so helpful yet not stuffy at all. We will try to return every time we come to London!

Most fantastic place. Perfect service, most delicious food, incredible wines, and such wonderful atmosphere. Spent four hours there having lunch on my fiancé's birthday.

I took my husband to this restaurant to celebrate his birthday. You need to book way in advance to be able to enjoy the unmatched ambience and jaw dropping decor of the conservatory. It’s a showcase of mother nature’s flowers and vines intertwined with a romantic dining experience. We were served by staff who didn’t miss a beat in offering an exceptional level of service without being overbearing. The attention to detail cascaded to branded cutlery and chocolate. I tried the salmon on the lunch menu and it was so good I started to eat slowly fearing the end of this sumptuous meal. I think the fact that I overheard the staff on the phone telling a potential guest that dinner reservations in the conservatory are not available until September augurs well for the high standard of this establishment. I made a booking for my anniversary in November before leaving because there’s no place else that could possibly top what I experienced my husband was blown away. Excellent food, great ambience, excellent service and value for money (3 course lunch menu meal just under £40 pp excl. service charge). Five stars and my recommendation in full! Great venue for a marriage proposal.... seriously.

This restaurant is amazing. The view from your table of the dinning conservatory is magical with the flowers and the fairy lights, was perfect for the Valentine’s Day treat what it was booked for.

The staff are impeccable, they were very knowledgeable and very attentive.

Would highly recommend this restaurant .

Had probably the worst meal ever at this place! No longer my recommendation. When you order a cheap bottle of red wine at £100 you expect it to be not cold! It was, terrible.

Went here for my partners birthday with the post theatre menu. The setting is very romantic and unique. The staff were friendly and attentive (my only issue with this was that it at times felt they were too attentive - like being watched). The food was nice - some dishes on the more average side but definitely some stand outs - the octopus entree was delicious. Overall a great choice for romantic special occasions.

Without doubt the nicest restaurant I have ever had the pleasure to eat in. You have to book months in advance but it’s well worth the wait! The food, service, wine and ambience were all fantastic and service was exemplary (without being fussy or intimidating). I can’t recommend this place enough!

I have never been to such a romantic restaurant .
The staff were friendly , helpful and very accommodating.
We were lucky enough to be seated in the conservatory where the decor and lighting were so perfect.
The food itself was absolutely delicious, and I can honestly say that the portion sizes themselves were also exactly right. We left there contented, happy, with full tummy’s and a dreamy feeling of fulfilment on our anniversary. Would highly recommend for special occasions and lovers everywhere.

Great setting, high standard of food with set menu choice at lunchtime which is great value. Only gripe was that after ordering a bottle of wine, which are all circa £55+ you open the menu to find the lunch special comes with a half bottle of wine, would have been nice for staff to point this out before hand as it’s the house and probably not what you’ve just ordered and been served!!
