Great outdoor space, always a great menu with options for all diners. Service was slow, which is happening more and more in restaurants given the labor shortage.
Had a great time with my friends
The grill chicken salad with ancient grains that I ordered was tasty.
Service was horrible. My husband never got his drink during the appetizers. It came as we were starting the appetizers. The food was mediocre and way over priced for what it was. not at all like Clyde’s we used to know. The wait staff were very friendly but you can tell there is a lack of help
We had a hair in our food. The service was great and management was too but both had upset stomachs after
Our waitress, food, ambience and even the weather were wonderful!
Picked up relatives from Dulles Airport. Stopped at the Reston Clydes for a quick bite to eat . Perfect!
Such great service&friendly atmosphere. Very reasonable for our table of six. They sat us outdoors as requested. A great evening.
As usual, Clyde's provided a very pleasant customer experience, start to finish. The food (an entrée salad for one diner; a bowl of loaded chili for another) was excellent, the service unfailingly friendly and professional, and - especially appreciated - our party was able to sit outside, on the patio, and enjoy a particularly sunny and beautiful day. In other words, all boxes happily checked!
Great food great vibe when in town Clyde’s is a must go to
Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Highly recommend.
Was disappointed that I could not order onion rings. Server told me that they have never been on the menu. I have very fond memories of eating onion rings at Reston Clydes.
Very relaxed atmosphere. Had dinner here with two friends I haven’t seen in several years. The service was very good and we did not feel rushed, allowing us time to catch up
Great place to take the time out to lunch. Friendly service and good food.
Food needs better assortment.
Don't bother making a outside reservation because Clyde's does not honor them. We made one and when we showed up they told us that they had changed their policy and it was now first come first serve. We are not notified in advance that this policy had changed which I am sure I was not the only one that had made a reservation for that day.
They do not value loyal customers they just put their bottom line first.
It was a beautiful Sunday morning and a pleasure to sit at an outside table. After an initial service glitch, things smoothed out and brunch was very enjoyable. Definitely a place to go back to - and next time we'll bring our dog to sit out on the patio.
Clyde's as a brand has slipped into the category of TGIF's and Applebees. Not terrible, not great, just average. Salmon was lukewarm to cold. Tortellini was overcooked to the point of having grey, crispy edges. They know they'll be busy no matter what and, as a result, basically the effort is "phoned in".
Outstanding customer service and experience and great food
Clyde's at Reston has always been a favorite. Everything about our recent experience was perfect. We especially appreciated our server, Dawn P, who was very professional and brightened our day with her cheerful personality.
Food was fantastic!
We made a reservation on line to be seated outside because of Covid 19 and in good weather we prefer to eat outdoors . When we arrived we were told outside seating is first come first serve when I showed the hostess and manager the confirmation of my reservation on my phone they were very rude and said they don’t control the website and just because I typed in my request for outside seating and it said CONFIRMED they said they don’t have control of the website. My wife and I have been regular dinners at the Clyde’s at Willow Creek but the last 3 times we tried to dine there we were told we couldn’t be seated outside and the last time we actually called and made a reservation a few days ahead of time and the day we were to have lunch they called and said there was going to be a private party outside and they had to cancel our reservation. We will not be dinning at Clyde’s anymore!
Just ok , these wanna be higher end spots don’t understand that it’s the attention to detail that brings repeat customers, if ur restaurant serves bread complimentary when the server comes to my table for the first time to greet us give me some bread, I had to ask for it after our appetizers arrived , if ur the server and you look at my table and all water glasses are empty fill them up , this isn’t rocket science , portions in one of our meals was less than adequate to say the least , as well as one of the appetizers , they skimped on the tortilla chips , really? To many places to choose from , if you price ur menu up then make sure the food drink and service match the prices.
Excellent food, attentive server. The wait for the food was a bit long.
Always an outstanding experience, and I appreciate so very much that they take reservations for outdoor dining.
Three of us ordered different lunches and each of us was happy. From the cheese sandwich with fries, to the spicy Pappardelle Bolognese, to the perfect Trout Almondine -- we were satisfied. The service was just right, and the ambiance was excellent. We could talk without yelling, we even had to quiet down a bit. It was wonderful.
The service is always excellent.
Love their outdoor seating! Food is always good. Thank you.
It is time to either change the brunch menu or add new items it is getting boring. Also you need more choices for vegetarians -- not everyone eats meat.
It was nice being able to sit outside. We got there early had a great table.
Our server Ericka was wonderful! The food was delicious and the manager was also really great. Just a wonderful experience! We will be back.
Great food and service!
The food was good. The atmosphere was good. The wait staff tried to clear plates before you were done eating them, so it felt like they were trying to rush you through dinner and there a lot of open tables, so it wasn't like they needed the tables.
Very unhappy with the mask (vs. vaccinated) requirement. Not returning.
Food was good but expensive. Wait staff did not stop by once to ask about refills on our sodas and they were not busy at all so not sure why.
Clyde’s has always been a very good dining experience. I will continue to patronize this restaurant
What has happened to my Clyde's? Surly hostesses, lacklustre waiter, mediocre food. A bottle of warm water to drink on our table. Caesar salad with soggy chewy croutons, summer tomato salad with miserly amount of cheese and balsamic, no offer of coffee or dessert from our waiter, a VERY LOUD table of coarse vulgar-talking men next to us. F bombs shouted nonstop. Why did she seat us there? The restaurant was half empty. A complete disappointment. We chose Clyde's because we decided, literally, we were seeking comfort and quiet and good food. :-(
The crab cakes (what they are known for) are not on the menu as of now due to sourcing issues. Sad, but I can respect it. The food is good and well made. It's not, blow your mind good, but good and solid. I like the cocktails here. Enjoyed my gin martini! Will come again when a guest is in town.
We love Clydes but this last trip wasn’t so great. The food wasn’t as good as it’s been in previous visits and the portions were small. I know it’s a tough time for restaurants and I hope they get back on their feet.
