We know it is no fun to wear a mask while enjoying a night out, but our staff's safety is no laughing matter.
We require all guests to wear a mask while moving about the restaurant, and when speaking to Clyde's employees.
Masks have been a hot topic, with passionate views on all sides. With our team and their families' health at stake, we must err on the side of caution. We hope you will understand and look forward to the day, hopefully soon, when we can all throw our masks in the trash.

Mini Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes

Crab & Artichoke Dip
service was terrific! Food was very good , however I would not recommend the Calamari which was very dry and overcooked.
I had Parmesan crusted trout without the hollandaise sauce. Dry fried fish. Very disappointed. But what a lovely patio - perfect ambience and good service.
Excellent food and atmosphere. Have eaten there many years and will continue Best restaurant in Reston Town Center overall for business and casual dining
It was a great experience as always when I eat at Clyde’s.
We are on the patio and so noise level was perfect! Ty for asking. Super important to use that it not be noisy. They accommodated our request to switch to outside seating. We so appreciated that!
Not many brunch options if that’s what you’re looking for- maybe 4/5! The lemon ricotta pancakes are delish, but come hungry. The fried chicken and biscuit was a sandwich rather than a platter.
Service was extremely slow for a slow Sunday morning. Love the outdoor seating.
Consistent good food, nice range of menu items, delicious cocktails. Restaurant interior could use a facelift. It understood why it hasn’t been done yet given the pandemic. Received a complimentary anniversary dessert for two!
Clyde's always exceeds expectations!
It was apparent that the restaurant was still in a post COVID-19 recovery mode. Very limited menu and a waiter who was obviously very new to that job. (got the drink order wrong, asked us if we would like to see the desert menu when we we only about half way through the entrée). But all that aside the food and the atmosphere were good. A pleasant experience overall.
We had come here about 3 years ago during the holidays when it was very busy. The service was slow and the food was poor and greasy and sat like a lead brick in your stomach. We let a lot slide figuring it was because of the holiday rush. This time we had reservations at a different restaurant but they had a pipe burst and had to close down. This was the only place I could get a reservation for 6 people at the last minute. Service was good but food was extremely salty (Pork, pasta dishes, calamari). Calamari was heavily breaded and way over cooked. Pasta did not come as described. The baked salmon was the only non-salty entree but it also pretty bland. We expected better for the prices from a restaurant that is this popular. We will never go back.
Food was not good! Shrimp way over cooked. Margarita had table salt instead of rock salt. Kids pizza was so bad adult nor child thought it was good. We were told the chef was trained in Italy. Well having spent a considerable amount of time in Italy I was really looking forward to the meal. Italy would never serve the food we had. If they did they would be out of business. Waiter was excellent, hostess was great, atmosphere was well done, but the food was not on the same level by far. Better product out of the kitchen and this place would be a home run. Wish them luck.
Everyone’s meals were fantastic, the staff was top notch and professional. Always a pleasure at Clyde’s .
Perfect place to meet for wine and an early dinner.
The brownie dessert was very hard and had to replace it with a different one.
This was the first in-restaurant dining experience my wife and I had since the COVID-19 pandemic began, and we did it with our 10-month old daughter in tow. With all that said, the staff and the service were excellent. We were able to sit outside on the patio, and the waitress make sure we felt safe and comfortable with the baby. The food was excellent, and they prepared a really nice fruit plate for our daughter. Clyde's is always a consistent winner in my book!
Hadn’t eaten at Clydes in a while and glad I returned. Thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience, food and service.
Terrible food, warm water, poor slow service.
The server was friendly but the timing of food delivery and the food itself left much to be desired. Our entrees arrived as we had barely started our soup and salad. My daughters butter and Parmesan noodles came with just butter so we had to request the cheese. The pasta was over cooked. The server unnecessarily reached in front my face several times, close enough that she nearly bumped me. Our table was not cleared of used plates and cups so we had quite an unpleasant and crowded collection when the meal ended. Lastly the cappuccinos were not hot. The meal was costly, particularly given these mishaps. I think this experience is rare for this restaurant but it will still be some time until I return.
Crab cakes small and soggy
Waiters should probably reassess what the term waiting means.
Great service and the calamari and Salmon were excellent
So grateful and excited to be able to meet up with friends “just like the old days”. Clyde’s had been our usual spot and, once again, we enjoyed the drinks and food. The sriracha chicken salad was delicious!
Ate outside so noise level was not an issue; good service
After 15 months it was fun to enjoy lunch at Clyde's and be around happy people!!
Always get a good meal at Clydes and great service. Thanks
We had a wonderful lunch at the Clyde's of Reston and the staff was very friendly and attentive. The outdoor dining was very pleasant.
Nice outdoor table. Baked salmon with a summer rice salad is fabulous!
Not exactly cheap, but the food and the service was excellent.
Great first date
It was a cold, grey evening and we wanted to go someplace warm and comfortable. So where else to go! It was exactly the ambience we wanted ... and the best wings there are. It's all good at Clyde's.
Dined with neighbors and the menu had a nice variety so everyone found something to their liking. I had the pork shoulder with mashed potatoes--delicious. Neighbors raved about the trout dish they had. Nice selection of wines by the glass too.
Very good! I liked the service and ambiance. Food was overpriced. My salad was over sauced but my son’s steak was perfectly cooked and the fries were good.
As usual, Clyde's food was great and the outside patio was wonderful. The 5 of us did notice that the amount of food for a main dish was way less than pre-covid. We were all disappointed.
It's been a while since I've dined at this Clyde's. I should be back more often, as I found a salad that was absolutely up my alley: Grilled Chicken & Ancient Grains salad. YUM. Hopefully next time I'll be able to have a table outside and enjoy the Summer air!
My family and I are longtime and loyal customers of this establishment but unfortunately the quality and taste of the food was extremely poor during this visit. My Cubano sandwich did not taste good, and my son’s cheeseburger (one of our favorite Clyde’s staples) had an unusual and odd taste. My other son had a tiny portion size for his $18.00 pasta dish (what should be a low cost for the restaurant especially since it was only spaghetti), and my wife’s salad was mediocre.
Also, the server talked excessively about himself — even interrupting and inserting himself into our discussion at one point. Interestingly, the server himself expressed discontent with the other employees who had confusion on our orders, including what entrees had been ordered by whom, and in making a mistake on one of our orders (adding chicken to an order and then charging us for it).
Very disappointing, and I feel the quality of this restaurant and its service have declined.
Lovely night to sit outside. Good food and good service. A reliable place to go for a nice evening.
Our waitress was really extraordinary. She went above and beyond to make our experience easy and enjoyable. She divided our group into three checks and even divided the birthday girls’ meals into thirds so that we could all chip in for theirs. In addition, the cake we brought had melted a bit and slid out of shape. She put it back together and re-frosted it before bringing out to us. I left feeling very happy with our choice to go to Clydes in Reston to celebrate my two sisters’ birthdays yesterday!!
This was my first time visiting the Reston Town Center, and we truly enjoyed the experience of dining outside on a warm Sunday afternoon!
Great food, great staff, great service, and awesome ambiance 😀
