I was impressed with the service, and we were both impressed with the food... a relatively small menu..
so everything was very good!

Food was average, but liked the ambience of the place and drinks. Will not go back as food wasn't good enough.

The best vietnamese restaurant I tried in London. Great atmosphere (I love the seats facing the street!), stunning food, exceptional cocktails and very big portions! I visited for dinner and everything was perfect, from the welcoming approach of staff, to food and service. Portions were so big that we did not manage to finish everything and I asked for take-away! I would strongly recommend this restaurant and I personally cannot wait to be back!

I love this place. Always look forward to coming back to sample more of the incredible food. Excellent cocktails, starters to die for and the best Pho in London. Tried the lemongrass and coconut curry this time round and no surprises it was superb. I always leave CoBa with a massively full belly as a very satisfied regular patron. Great to see the restaurant is getting so much love from the neighbourhood nowadays...tucked away in a quieter location than kings cross but once you go you will certainly go back.

Unfortunately but as usual, CoBa had run out of Prawn Toast! This happens time after time and is a shame since this is one of their famous dishes. Not impressed to have this happen yet again. The waitress told us that they had run out by 7.30! Not great.

The Waitress forgot my order of a cocktail too.

Nice vibe and generally a very good place to eat.

Booked standard table but was put on a high table together with other people. There were plenty of standard tables available which stayed empty throughout the meal. Bad service and condescending waiters. Food not bad but relatively average.

Won’t be back; plenty of better options for similar or better price

Exceptional food. A stylish hidden gem in a tucked away corner north of Kings Cross - this place is well worth a walk!! The starters (particularly prawn toast and spring rolls) are some of the best in London and the main dishes - all generous portions and SO fresh were full of flavour and perfectly cooked. Great atmosphere and fabulous cocktails to boot. 10/10 in every way.

A few hits mixed with some near-misses in a very noisy place make this a great place for a quick bite but don't hang around. It was a 1 in 3 place. 1 cocktail great, 1 so-so and 1 a waste of calories. Food was better at 1 great, 2 ok and 2 so-so dishes while the staff was lovely but a bit random in their attentiveness.

Great restaurant. Good food. Good cocktails. Friendly servers.
All let down by a location, which is pretty remote by London standards - 15 minutes walk from Kings Cross and very limited parking.

This was the perfect place to have a pre-theatre meal before heading to the Pleasance Theatre around the corner. Flavoursome, fresh-tasting food from a well chosen menu in a hip setting - if industrial filament-bulb lighting, stripped wood and earthenware crockery are your thing, you will love CoBa! Highlights were the summer rolls and the BBQ Beef in Betel leaf. Cocktails were also good quality, nicely presented and not too sugary (which is my usual gripe). Good, friendly service too. A winner.

The place has fantastic lighting which makes the ambience really enjoyable. The food is also good but not exceptional. There is only one option for wine by the glass but it’s a pretty good one. The service is friendly and quick. I would definitely go back, it was a good night out.

Quite enjoyed the food and cocktails. It's casual, quite a small menu and the restaurant is in a bit of an odd spot near Kings Cross / Islington - not much else around.

A slim menu but fantastic-tasting food. Service was efficient and friendly. Decor is industrial-chic - not exactly cosy but the young clientele will have liked that. And it's beside the point - the Australian-Vietnamese food is what you come for and the food is completely delicious.

We have eaten at CoBa many times starting with when it first opened. Although the geographical location is rather out of the way, it is most certainly worth making the journey to get to it. The food is outstanding as is the service. Delicious cocktails too. Increasingly, one needs to reserve a table way ahead of time as It is only a small space.

The food in CoBa was very good, especially the starters we had - crab and prawn spring rolls and lamb cutlets - but value (£8 for 2 small cutlets) was very questionable. Pho and ramen were good if not as great as the starters. Service was friendly, so even if prices could be a bit friendlier I'd definitely go again.

This was our 3rd time at Coba. We were very excited about discovering it (delicious food, a fresh take on Vietnamese food) but this time both the food and and service stopped being memorable. Will not come back.

For the portion sizes, I think this restaurant is a little pricey. BUT, the food is ridiculously delicious. Mouthwatering, spicy, subtle, perfectly cooked. Honestly the most delicious Vietnamese I have had in the UK.
