Cooperage Inn Restaurant
The name "Cooperage Inn" comes from the craft of coopering, which goes back a few centuries, when it was the major method of packaging. We are located in the Long Island Wine region. Wine makers have always relied on the skills of the Village Cooper to store and age their wines.
Excellent food and atmosphere in a beautifully decorated fine dining restaurant. The best restaurant I have been to, well worth the trip. Service is excellent.
Excellent all around. Took advantage of the fall special of half price bottles of wine.
All four of us had a great meal and our service was outstanding, thanks Dina.
Wish I learned of this restaurant a lot sinner. The food is amazing and fresh, Service is awesome and has a very nice atmosphere. Would highly recommend.
One of our favorite restaurants on the East End. Consistently excellent food, service somewhat slow, but great ambiance and excellent "home cooking"
Cozy country setting for brunch. Nice variety of food. Servers were very accommodating and helpful!
Very nice decor and grounds. The food and service was very good. Key lime mouse or was fantastic.
Very pretty. Nice staff. Easy to get to. Priced reasonably good.
It was s family gathering and we enjoyed two appetizers (eggplant fries and spring rolls)-both were good. Salads were very good. Always fresh and generous. A few people had chicken franchise which was good, one had a chicken pot pie and she loved it, and someone had a mixed seafood platter which he enjoyed. No one had dessert. Server was pleasant but very slow but better than being rushed. Overall, it was a pleasant family dinner.
Table for 4 was too small. My filet entree was over cooked. My wife’s paella was very hot and overly spicy. Appetizers and drinks were fine.
Service, food quality, ambiance
first time there will make sure I do come back again
Buffet was just ok. It seems like it could us an updating. Reminded me of a restaurant I worked at in 1992. Nothing special about the menu at all. Wasn’t bad just boring.
Average in every way. Food was reasonable in price & quality. Convenient when you aren’t up to making a meal at home. Lots of menu items w ordinary choices, prepared simply. Roasted chicken was all white meat, which without the offered sauces was dry after the first few warm mouthfuls. Clam bake was as expected- whole lobster was small but with good amount of meat. You’ll need the butter to add flavor to otherwise bland meal. Waitstaff was efficient & friendly. Restaurant itself is classic 50s with lots of stuff on the walls & even up to the ceiling, plastic decor.abounds.
Don’t expect to be wowed & you won’t be disappointed.
Excellent server who was especially attentive to our group which included a gluten free need and multiple allergies. Food was perfect.
Job well done.
Our waiter Nick S. was absolutely wonderful. Food and service was amazing!
Great food, great service, great ambiance, great value. What more could you want?
I live locally so come here often. Consistent excellent dining. Great year round dining, with occasional special events. Fall fest is a lot of fun.
We have been here a number of times for brunch and have never been disappointed. The food is always delicious and replenished often. There is a good variety of breakfast and lunch items, a number of which are "high end" like perfectly cooked steak (sliced), seafood salad with plenty of shrimp, and a mussels. The desserts, many of which are made in-house, are tasty and varied enough to please everyone. If I'm being critical, the eggs in the eggs benedict are a little overdone so the yolks don't run, but it is still a yummy dish. The staff is friendly, accommodating, and there when you need them without being intrusive. The place itself is quaint and inviting...appropriate for everything from casual family outings, to anniversaries (that's why we were there), to birthdays and other celebrations; there was even a bridal shower there that day too. Parties of 10 or more can easily be accommodated; however, smaller tables of two aren't lost in the space. I highly recommend the Cooperage Inn for brunch.
Everything was just right. Nice menu with lots of choices. Waitstaff was friendly and helpful. Food was fresh and delicious. Portions were large, maybe even too large. Neither of us could finish. Place is in a beautiful setting. If we lived nearby we would be regulars.
Our “go-to” place for dinner when we go to the nearby Tanger Outlets. Always know its good food, at good value, in a nice country atmosphere.
While service was very good, food was fairly bland. Vegetables weren’t just crisp, they were raw and not enjoyable. We have dined here several times but the best part of this visit was the signature bread! Disappointing!!
I love coming to this restaurant when I’m in town! It’s my go-to place for eAtting!
We tried their date night special for the first time, it was a great value. We truly enjoyed our meal and look forward to returning!
Arrived early for our reservation, but were taken in right away. This place has a wonderful ambiance. The servers were attentive and the food was great. What more could you ask for....
Great food, drinks, service and we enjoyed Goomba Richie's music
Great food and great service. It was our first time here and we will def go back!
Great food and live music
Service was friendly.
Food was delicious
Overpriced medium quality food in a nice but dated atmosphere.
Very good food and friendly service. Very nicely decorated and nice atmosphere.
Outstanding meals, service was excellent we just had a great time.
This is our favorite restaurant. A total pleasure. Great decor. Great food. Our waiter was perfect!
Great food and service. Great ambiance. Thursday Date Night at Cooperage is a regular event for us. Fresh seafood and locally sourced, fresh vegetables. Will continue to come here for years to come!
Good food, good service, comfortable ambiance, nice separation between tables so noise level was low. Waiter was friendly and efficient. A great restaurant for every day dining
Always a great experience...never had a problem..great value!
Every time we have been to the Cooperage, we have never been disappointed. The restaurant is almost 40 miles from my home, but worth the drive !
We love this restaurant. It's our go to for all our occasions. Great food and service. A North Shore gem.
Absolutely amazing! The dressings were all home-made and so fresh & delicious.
We had Sunday brunch with family and it was wonderful.
