Copacabana Brazilian Steakhouse - Adelaide (Downtown)
Your experience at Copacabana begins with a trip to our "Galleria" where you will be tempted by fresh baked breads and dips from our open concept bakery; fresh cheeses cut from the wheel, and expertly hand sliced charcuterie selections. Help yourself to as much crisp salads and colorful starters you want, but leave room: Your experience is just beginning.
Back at your table our Gauchos or Carvers will service you with a feast of various CAB (Certified Angus) grilled meats prepared in a number of ways. Simply tell your carver how you prefer your meat, (most come medium rare) and leave the rest to us!
There is only one small task for you...As your Gaucho is Cutting at your table, use your provided tongs to simply grasp the top slab of meat and assist as he thinly slices a perfect cut of meat onto your plate, enjoy…and repeat as many times as you like!
They have a positive environment, it was fun for us , the only thing was the delay between each guys who brings the meats and because of that We haven’t tested 2 of the meats but in general it was a good place, and definitely I’ll be there again 👍
Food was excellent and filling. Will definitely revisit
Food was excellent. Service was phenomenal. Ambiance was fantastic. It was a really fun date night. Loved every minute of it
They did not serve us to much meat we had to ask several times for meat and they did not give any happy birthday or cake to my friend very disappointed not coming again !
Went for my boyfriends birthday. Had an amazing time. Food was on point. We mentioned to the servers that we wanted out meat well done and we got that right away. The dancers were awesome. A good show and experience all together. Would definitely go back.
I come here for my birthday celebrations and the service is exceptional. The dancers are professional and brings the place alive. The servers are kind, professional and caters to how you like your meat, we were a “well done” table and he made sure to service us only well done meat; amazing!
I have been to this location many times, for some reason this time the food was really slow, and the selection of meats were very little. Usually we get different types of meats, but for some reason this time we got the same 3 selections, there was no variety (which is very surprising since there is usually close to 7 different types at a time). For example the lamb never came out till we were done eating, and we were there for at least an hour and a half and did not receive as much different types of meats as i anticipated. Other than that we only received the Chimichuri steak, Parm steak, and the signature house steak. The value this time was not worth it, i was extremely dissapointed, was definitely not worth the drive from Mississauga or the money spent, it was an anniversary occasion and i did not enjoy it as i usually do. Extremely dissapointed in the selection.
With that being said, the servers were extremely helpful and nice, we asked a couple of times for specific meats, although we did not receive them, he apologized many times and kept checking on them for us, thank you for that, much appreciated!
Although the Vaughan llcation has better service the tables are so squished together.
Did find a hair in your food from a buffet station even though it's not 100% chance that is was the restaurant staff our the server didn't show any compassion when we gave her back our plate.
She forgot to bring drinks.
When it came time to pay things got messed up that I had to tell them how to fix it.
Had a great birthday celebration for my father. And was wonderful that he ate for free because it was his birthday that day
Overall, good experience. Food was excellent and very tasty. Unless requested, not much selection came around. Mainly steak was offered and we had to request chicken/fish/pineapple which either took quite awhile to come out or never came at all. Had to send back water several times as either the cup was very dirty or there were items in the bottle of water. Would go back again but only for a special occasion
Our meal was exceptional. We did feel, in the corner, like we were skipped in the walk about and had to ask multiple times for food that was brought to the table beside us but not to us.
We enjoyed the experience. Food was great and certainly enough! The restaurant was somewhat louder than we like. I found that, even though food was good etc it was overpriced. With.a « cheap » bottle of wine and a tip, it was over $200. Glad we went once, not sure if we will go back.
The meats are amazing and the service is great. The buffet of sides were not as good quality as I remembered from their other Eglinton location. But the whole experience was still very good. It gets busy, so I would recommend booking for earlier in the evening if you can.
Great experience as usual.
Girl with the curls, who was standing at the reception ....Rate 5Stars!!!
Need better service no one really came around after I told them several times they started to come around and bring me my food I think something should be done about this
Waited over 30 mins to be served any meet. Waiters barely came around. Would'nt go to that location again.
Although we had a reservation for 9 pm, we got our table around 9:30. When the reservation is made, there is only a 15 min window but when we get there, we have to wait 30 min. I don't really understand it.
Our waitress was very nice and attentive. The servants were not bringing food as much as before and we had to ask for food a few times. The food was delicious though. The salad bar was also awesome.
I love coming to Copa for birthdays and my anniversary as able. It is always exciting and the decor is amazing. My favourite meat dishes are the dry rub flank and the parmesean steak. This visit I felt our table was getting missed by some of the meat servers and I didn't end up having any shrimp and I found the meat to be cooked slightly less than usual but overall an amazing and delicious experience as always.
Same 4 meats over and over again. Would have to ask for better cuts. Certain tables were always served first leaving the scraps left by the time the spit came to our table. Overall disappointing
Made reservations for my husbands birthday. We reserved for 8 but had 9 people, but the restaurant did accommodate that even though I called a couple days ahead to inform of 1 more person. We were very disappointed with the food and service. Most of the food at the buffet is cold entrees to choose from. Only a about 3 hot dishes. On top of that we waited forever to even get the waiters to our tables with the meat selection. The meat carving/serving was scarce and minimal at our table. We also had to ask for the cornbread that they normally serve. The dancers were not as good as when I went before. Felt like we were rushed because the wait staff reminded us that we can only sit for 2 hours. On top of everything, they charged me adult price for my daughter who is 11yers old, although the website says children are $25.00. I've been here a few times and enjoyed my evening however, the level of quality I definitely dropping more and more. They've increased their prices since the last time I was here...….. what's the point if the quality is downgraded. I was here Very disappointed with the overall quality of service.
Having been to the one in Niagara I found the service substandard in comparison. Food to the table was very slow, I had to request items more than once. It was a real let down after our Niagara experience. I will say the show was far superior at this location. It was still an overall good meal but again, not as great as our first meal at the Copacabana.
Food was good, dancers were amazing, the vegetables at the buffet were a bit burnt disappointed in the selection, drinks were overpriced and very weak which is disappointing. Hoping this resturant doesn't become a gimmick.
My boyfriend and I went to Copa Cabana for our anniversary this year as we had an amazing experience last year! Last year the food was great and the price was a tad expensive but reasonable for the quality of food. This year, although the service was great, the quality of the meats was poor and the price ($60 per person) was too much for what was being served! My boyfriend and I are steak lovers and only go for the red meat, however, to our disappointment, 3-4 of the types of red meat served had a very bad taste and a tough, chewy texture. We were only able to enjoy 3 of the meats (parmesan, garlic and top sirloin), and for that price it was definitely not worth it! The price has increased and the quality has decreased, we are very disappointed and would not recommend this to our friends. It is way better to go to a steak house, get a good piece of steak, for a larger quantity and a cheaper price.
We heard great things about Copa as we had a great experience at Brasa. The variety in food and types of steak. And the cutting steak was minimal and not up to competition. The ambience and noise level was highly contrasted and it made every conversation difficult. The salad bar had minimal choices. The value of the dinner for the price was not acceptable. We cam from out of town and this will be our first and last time at Copa.
Food was delicious. Lots of options and variety. Service was sporadic, the guys would pass us by without even asking if we wanted a piece. The cocktails were below average. Have had much better caipirinhas in many other places. I would have drank more but it was just not very good.
Love love loved the experience, the food and the service was beyond amazing and the price for an all you can eat dinning experience was amazing cause the food was exceptional & not expensive definitely going to dine there again.
Food was great! Variety of meat come in endless rotation and is bound to keep you wanting more. The pineapple is out of this world. Service staff are friendly and were able to accommodate our large party. However, what was disappointing was that we didn’t get to sit until 30 min after our reservation. The hosting staff at the front door was rude and seemed confused. I had planned a surprise party in which was not much of a surprise because of how late the group sat down at our reserved table. Beyond this occurrence, I can’t complain about much else.
Amazing food, great service . Had a wonderful time with friends
We’ve been to Copacabana a couple of times and have enjoyed it each time. The service is always great as well as the food. It is a bit pricey, however we like to go only on special occasions (birthdays, anniversaries). We always look forward to our reservations here!
absolutely horrendous hospitality. came with a party of 6 and spent alot of money, was at our table for an hour and the manager started coming around asking if we got everything we needed and kept hovering the table making my party very uncomfortable and rushed to leave. once we did leave we overheard the manager telling the waitresses to check our bills to see if we all paid. absolutely DISGUSTING DISPLAY OF EVENTS AND WILL NEVER GO BACK MAINLY CUS OF THE STUART LITTLE LOOKING MANAGER WITH TOO TIGHT CLOTHES
I wouldn't recommend it for an anniversary dinner. It wasn't intimate enough.
The buffet was pretty good but the steak and meats were amazing. the dancers were beautiful and they moved amazing. the service was top notch, our server went above and beyond by getting the kitchen to cook some well done meats for my pregnant wife. the birthday dessert was gorgeously plated and very tasty. i would definitely come back with a bunch of people.
My wife and I had a very nice dinner on our Anniversary. The concept, and the food was great, but our server seemed to be in a bad mood. Also, I did populate in my reservation that it was our Anniversary, but nobody mentioned it in our service.
Really good value for money! Like all unlimited food spots, they start off with the best cuts (make sure you try the rib-eye) and progress towards the more filling options.
Overall, try a bit of each of the many meats and then stick to your favorites. Too much on display to eat quickly and then lose out because you’re too full.
We were a party of six people and were there for my sons birthday. We were told on many occasions that we had to be done by 7pm as there was another reservation after us. We felt very rushed and they werent even going to allow us to have coffee and dessert. It took forever for the servers to come with the skewers of meat. We were often just sitting there waiting for someone to come with more food. Not a pleasant experience.
We made reservation around 4.30 to beat the rush. You get your money worth for sure. Pricey but quality of the food is on point . From the bread to the meat . Exquisite decor .
Everything was great. I like my steak medium well. Most meat came rare. Had to wait for my preferred for most not all.
I've had great experiences here in the past but it felt like we were overlooked during this particular stay. Staff regularly came with the leftovers from whatever was being served and most of the time only 2/3rd of out table got a portion as a result.
We made reservations for my Birthday, an email was sent asking if they still had the performers and what time is the show. No response! When the reservations were made it stated we are celebrating a birthday!
We get there and hey get seated right by the kitchen (high traffic area) we waited for like 5mins when the waitress comes by and said "oh I forgot I'm covering this table".
The carvers very nice men but one dropped a shrimp on my dress and other dropped a utensil on my date.
We are right by the kitchen and asked for well done meat and no pork but they just kept bringing us medium rare. When it came time to pay we couldn't even locate our waitress and she didn't even ask how the experience was or even acknowledged it was my Birthday.
I have been to thos location before and I think this was my last time.
