Food is always good here, but the entrée was not a good value at $36.00. It was 5 beef medallions (about the size of a silver dollar) in a mushroom sauce with mashed potatoes and no side vegetable. When I asked the server why was there no vegetable, he said to keep the price down. That was puzzling to me because I've had the prime rib and the sirloin there at the same price and it always had 2 sides! I didn't make a stink about it because I didn't ask about the price point when I ordered but thought it odd not to have a vegetable.
The waiter was very attentive and helpful. The appetizer Shrimp Escargot was OUTSTANDING. One of the best appetizers I have had. The salmon was oversalted and the shrimp and grits were not to my liking but someone else may like it. Too many ingredients in it.
Always great! I really enjoy this restaurant...love the new menu items as well as my old favorites. KUDOS!!
Did not like the eggs Benedict for brunch or the side it should have some type of breakfast potatoes instead of sweet potato fries
Good drinks and the Fiesta Egg Rolls are super and finally the crab cakes were excellent... can’t go wrong!
I had the catch of the day which was a branzino prepared in a simple lemon butter sauce served with my choice of two sides. Of course I picked the glazed carrots (the vegetable of the day. I can’t believe they don’t have the glazed carrots all the time anymore. So flipping delicious) and mashed potatoes. The meal was SO good. Perfectly prepared and service was great! My picture doesn’t do the meal justice.
No complaints. The ribs were not bad, Cobb salad was kind of weak, the service was professional and efficient, prices were reasonable. The place was totally packed on a Saturday night. Basically, the place reminded me of the Cheesecake Factory, which is to say it was fun and festive, with adequate food.
The food was good, however the service was a little slow, it took 30 minutes to get our main entrees.
Time is money.
Had a table in the bar area so it was noisy and lots of traffic around us.
David was an absolute wonderful server! The food was great, booth was clean and ambience was nice. Will definitely visit again. Loved it!
Always amazing here
Nice girls night out
Went for Happy Hour. Nice drinks, decent cost, and the snacks were tasty
Very good food, but very noisy. Also, I asked for a table that could seat 7 people comfortably, but were directed to a booth. We were crammed in and could not hear each other.
We had a reservation and still had to wait 10 minutes before being seated. We arrived at our table and did not get our drink order taken for another 15 minutes by a waitress who wasn't even supposed to be our waitress (very nice though). Our waitress did not show-up until the other waitress took our order. Our appetizer came before our drinks did. Our meal took another 45 minutes and was luke-warm/cold.
Very disappointed because we've been here before and service is normally good.
My steak was overcooked.
My biggest complaint was the noise. We were a party of 8 seated next to another large and extremely noisy party. There was no way for our group to talk to people across the table. When that loud party left things got a bit better but still much too loud for comfort.
From the very beginning, there were problems with everything. We had to wait 20 minutes for a table, even though we had a reservation. They brought our main courses before they brought our salads. I was asked by our server if I had any dietary restrictions. I told her I could not have gluten or lactose. When I ordered my salad, I ordered it without goat cheese. The salad came with goat cheese. It also came with cornbread that was made with gluten. My wife’s meal came and instead of receiving asparagus as she had ordered, she received spinach. I had ordered a chicken dish, but when I cut into it, the chicken was not properly cooked. The staff was very responsive to all of these issues, and apologetic, but it did not make for a very good Valentine’s Day celebration. I have been to this restaurant many times, and these things have never occurred before. I am hoping it was only an anomaly. Management accommodated all these issues when the check came. I have not given up hope for Copper Canyon Grill
I enjoyed my experience & the service.
My boyfriend and I had an absolute fabulous time as we do everytime we dine in ! Thank you for making our valentines night great !
Copper Canyon has delicious food, excellent service, great ambience and a nice selection of drinks
Our server was really great. She was very attentive for a Valentines Day Dinner. She had a great smile and an awesome smile. Overall we enjoyed wonderful dinner there.
Good time! You have a very fast and skilled bartender named Summer working there. Makes a fine old fashioned.
Great food and great service! Loved the chicken meatballs!!
My favorite neighborhood restaurant, always helpful with my allergies and the meals are delicious.
We celebrated my Moms Birthday. A good time was had by all. Food and service was good. Moms in a wheelchair and they were very accommodating.
Great experience, overall. Server, on this occasion, was not great but prior experiences have been phenomenal.
Always good! There has never been I time that I have dined at Copper Canyon that the food and service have not been top notch. This is a very popular restaurant in the downtown Silver Spring area. Do yourself a favor and put a table reservation in before heading over. Especially on a Saturday night. This year my mother, brother, and I ordered Christmas dinner to pick up. Was fabulous! While other restaurants come and go in the Ellsworth Drive corridor, Copper Canyon never fails to deliver.
Birthday got my mom-87th!
Great service from the hostess. Our actual server was lacking in that department, but fulfilled her responsibilities. Food was yummy as usual.
