Well recommended food was great and service was exceptional
Very nice food and nice staff
Love the food but the Hendricks garden cocktails are just gorgeous!
In short a fantastic restaurant all round. One minor mark down was the non availability of pints on draught, the price of a glass of beer seemed excessive.
Excellent food and service. Staff were very attentive and friendly. The starters, mains and desserts we had were all delicious.
Tables are very tiny and quite close together. Cichettis were just ok. Nothing memorable. Main course--rib eye beef was very good but sides were a little disappointing. The rib eye cost £60 for two people but it only came with one side order of chips. Extra sides were £3.50 each. A bit mean!!
Fantastic evening. Service outstanding as staff ensured we got served quickly before a large part of 30. Staff made personal recommendations which were amazing. Love the place!! We will be back. Love the idea my favourite cocktail is now a charity cocktail. Means I have to come back for more😉
Excellent food and friendly efficient staff. Jeep up the good work. See you soon.
Food was great, my and I had the steak for 2 which was melt in the mouth with a delicious red wine jus. Our waitress was attentive and friendly throughout and the place was busy with a good buzz and vibe. Would certainly recommend it.
Couldnt fault the service food came very quickly and was delicious as usual
Only thing I would say is when the place is busy a wait for the toilet can take some time
Fantastic Food. cramped seating. Could be romantic with a bit more space...
Had pasta nachos to start - they were overcooked, tasted burnt and covered in oil. Very greasy. Couldn't finish them.
I then had the bucatini alla primavera. Worst pasta dish ever, horrible chewy pasta, over seasoned, all I could taste was salt and garlic. The only saving grace was the roquito chilli peppers, the peppers from a jar were the only flavour in this dish.
My husband had the chicken tortellini, his comment was that I cook better at home - and believe me I am not a good cook!
Service was bad, staff too rushed to ask if everything was ok, was not asked once, and could not order another drink as they were too rushed. Had to ask for bill twice as staff did not listen the first time.
Leaving hungry as I could not finish my super salty meal, and dying for a drink on a Friday night.
Will not be returning and definitely not recommending.
Great buzz, good food, no wonder we couldn’t get a table ‘till 8:30!
We had a really lovely meal, staff were very friendly, efficient and helpful. Food Excellent, thoroughly enjoyed the full experience.
Fantastic and friendly service, the waitress made me feel very comfortable ordering my meal as I have a severe nut allergy. The food was tasty and filling and I highly recommend the feta fritters for starters along with the fennel sausages and bread. Very enjoyable meal and look forward to my next visit.
Unreal food. The only issue I had was the plate envy I had for my partners choice! We had 3 courses and all were delicious, perfect portion sizes and reasonably priced. For starters I would highly recommend the feta fritters, for mains we both had pasta dishes. My partner opted for a duck ragu with mushroom ravioli - this dish was the best main I have had from an Italian restaurant in a while! Highly recommend a trip to Belfast is finished eating at Coppi.
Have been to coppi a couple of times now. But went on Tuesday and didn’t think the food was up to your usual standard. For instance haddock fritter starters where quite small this time and there was only 3 served. On other occasions there were 4 and much bigger. My father in law had the Tuscan sausage main and found the sausages to be quite hard to eat. I myself had the chicken Caesar found the chicken a bit tough . Also for the price of this main. £8.00 did not think it was worth it for 4 small bits of chicken a tiny bit of bacon pieces and a plate full of lettuce. As to the croutons on these to mains they were impossible to eat without breaking your teeth. This experience has put me off going back to coppi. Staff were lovely.
Had a really nice night and the food was very nice, would recommend people to go for food and drinks
Lovely restaurant. Service was good but could have been a little bit better. We are both chefs so the food was what our main interest was.we certainly enjoyed. We had our teenagers with us and the menu was a little limited for their taste. Atmosphere was deadly a little to noisy but there was a big crowd in for food. Very enjoyable experience overall.
I really like this restaurant and only recently was in there for lunch with a friend.
On Easter Sunday I was part of a table of 5, I had the same dish I had for lunch - prawn linguine.
The dish was very disappointing - it seemed the chef added large pieces of broccoli and baby tomatoes (that did not taste fresh) - the broccoli and tomatoes were not in the dish when I went for a lunch a few weeks earlier - it did not compliment the dish it was disappointing to be honest.
Additionally, we paid separately and I was charged a pound extra than the listed price on the menu , I only noticed after we got home.
I know this was not a service charge because we asked if the service charge was included on the bill so we could add extra before we left the restaurant for the staff.
I was really disappointed, usually I love this restaurant - however not this time
Overall it was good.
Fried duck ravioli was bland and hardly any filling at all, the sauce with it was nice.
If I was to come again we wouldn’t order the pasta nachos as it sounded more exciting than it was.
The feta bites where great and the arancini was also delicious.
I love the overall look of the restaurant very industrial. The food came quick and hot which was great.
I rated the service poor as to be honest we where seated ordered and then never seen the server again until all our food was gone. No recommendations from waiter or any personalised service or anything.
However it didn’t ruin our time here the food was great and the cocktails where awesome too.
Hi all, this was my second time eating in Coppi restaurant. On the first visit I opted for the chefs special for main, and although I'm not a huge fish eater it was simply the best piece of fish I have ever tasted.
On this visit, to celebrate my birthday I went for a steak , I've had better but I'd give it a solid 8 out of 10.
On both visits there were 4 in our party and everyone enjoyed all dishes served. We stayed towards the lower end of pricing for wine but were well pleased with both white and red.
Service excellent and nice crowd.
I'll defiantly visit again and would recommend to anyone.
Think might be better to order several small plates for the table. I ordered a main course pasta dish and it was one of the most bland things I have ever tasted, no flavour whatsoever. The staff were helpful and offered me an alternative dish, however the rest of the party had obviously finished their meal before mine arrived.
Got our table late and given complimentary bread and olives.
Expensive for the quality of food.
Great atmosphere, nice lighting, food came quickly.
Rushed. Starters arrived before apéritif. Portions are smaller than mid-week (according to my partner who had a business dinner). Very noisy. Canneloni dessert an absolute disgrace - burnt and tasteless. Won't be back.
Fantastic service from you enter until you leave! We keep returning to Coppi time and time again for the food, service, great vibe and location. Looking forward to the next time👍
Coppi was recommended to us by a friend who lives in Belfast. We were there for four nights and struggled to get in - it's that popular! We booked for one night and was not at all disappointed. This is a great spin on your average Italian with amazing food and small servings allowing you to try even more of the fantastic menu. Reasonably priced and very friendly service. Might make the trip back to Belfast just to go to Coppi again!
Beautiful food, very friendly staff, great atmosphere , overall very positive experience.
This is not your traditional pizza and pasta Italian restaraunt. This is proper Italian cuisine. The menu is large and laid out as if you were dining in the home of an Italian family. Even the kids menu is faithful to traditional Italian tastes. We had the duck ragu which was stunning; rich earthy and satisfying. The staff were fantastic. They were friendly, attentive, helpful and flexible. It felt like nothing was too much trouble. However, they were not overbearing and you never felt rushed or under pressure.
We absolutely adored our experience at Coppa and will look forward to returning at the earliest opportunity.
Good healthy food in a pleasant environment. Ideal for lunchtime meets.
Found the food rather disappointing but the waitress was excellent. Very noisy
It was ok..nice but not as good as anticipated. Starter was good..but portion size a bit small. Main course was overpriced and didn’t meet my expectations. Not sure if I’d go back.
Food was superb, couldn't fault it at all.
Place itself was very dark & really noisy (Saturday night) - great for party of people - not so great for a couple trying to hold a conversation! General service felt rushed & not very welcoming. Would return for the food definitely, but better service can be found in many city restaurants.
Lovely warm welcome on arrival and great gin cocktails! The Staff were all super friendly! We got really well informed advice on the menu when ordering some sharing plates for our group of 6 and were even offered to split up the dishes to the 2 ends of the table as we were all sharing. Made it so easy! We tried loads of different dishes and were so impressed. The Duck pasta dish was the stand out best! Only dish that was disappointing was the side of mac & cheese (a little tasteless). We have already recommended to friends travelling to Belfast and would definitely return.
We had a large selection of all different things on the menu. Everything was great except for the olives, they were so hot we couldn’t eat them. Desserts and cocktails were also lovely!
Went here for lunch. The atmosphere is great. The service was great. Waitresses very friendly and knew the menu.
Two of us had the prawns with dough bread which was lovely. Two had the cesear salad but they said was not enough dressing.
I ordered the mushroom ravioli but was disappointed. It was swimming in what seemed like a red wine sauce. Not very nice. Two had the chicken tortellini which was delicious. So a mixed bag.
Having said that I would go back because the overall experience was great
Lovely food, great location, excellent service, staff know the menu and can talk through dishes very well. Great place
Great evening, great atmosphere and fantastic service.
We had a lovely meal at Coppi. Staff were very nice and the service was very good. Food was amazing - flavours were incredible. Would recommend this place.
Lovely meal and fab service. Would really recommend. Only downside restaurant was very warm.
It was ok didn’t have much to eat small pizza and Parmesan fries so not a great test of their fare.
