I’ve enjoyed many a good meal in Coppi but I thought the food was not up to the usual standard on my latest visit. The roast chicken was over cooked with no hint of any herb or garlic. The smoked chicken pasta dish had sat a while and the sauce was claggy. I’ll go back as any restaurant can have an off night and I do like the atmosphere.

It was our 9th wedding anniversary so we chose Coppi for dinner as we had been here before a few months ago. We were really impressed with everything!

Very disappointing experience! Booked our table well in advance and mentioned it was a special occasion. We were sat in a very small table shoved into a corner directly under the harsh led lighting away from the more atmosphere main dining area. This area seemed neglected by the staff and we struggled to get their attention. My partner chose the salami and pickled vegetables and left it uneaten. The peach and buffalo mozerella crostini came with a minuscule amount of mozerella and what seemed like tinned peaches, no flavour or seasoning to be found. The summer vegetable pizza came with only peas and broadbeans and lacked any real flavour. The bucatini was the only saving grace and couldn’t be faulted. Our dessert seemed pre plated and the plate itself was practically dripping in condensation from the fridge. Having read so many positive reviews about Coppi regarding its food and atmosphere, we left hugely disappointed and baffled.

This is our forthnor fifth time at this incredible restaurant. From the amazing greeting from Janine and her incredible personality and laughs to the amazing server (I didn't get his name, but he was awesome. We'd been so many times that we found it hard to pick something new so he helped.) the food here is so tasteful and rich in flavour. We have never had a bad meal. I can't rate the place high enough. I recommend to everyone. Even got a tattoo today and the artist asked if there was nay good places and this was straight off my tongue. We will be many more times. Love you guys. #coppi4life

I had heard good things about Coppi, but it surpassed all expectations. The interior was fab, the staff were lovely and the food was exceptional. We went for the cichetti & pizzettas (so Italian tapas I guess!) and everything we tried was delicious - couldn't pick our favourites!! It's also in a great location so lots of options for drinks before or after your meal. Highly recommend it!

Food was gorgeous, however, we felt a bit rushed to decide our food and drink order, minutes after we sat down. Also the waiter who took our last drinks order was not very pleasant.. Response, to can we order another drink please.. OK, but this will be your last, the bar is closing. Very pointed and looked hassled that we decided to have another drink.

Busier than I thought it would be. More toilets would be great with the size of restaurant. Was a little too dark and I found it a bit difficult to read the menu initially until my eyes adjusted. Overall I enjoyed the meal and the experience.

We have been to coppi before and loved it. That why for my gf birthday we decided to go. We where seated rite away as we had a booking. Ordered the special to share as a started and some small items. We I have never been so disappointed in a starter before. Was a large plate filled with lettuce and about 6 prices of calamari over cooked and with no taste at all for £10. So bad. Then our mains came out the chic was so dry and bland. After we had finished we didn't even order desert. We got the bill and left. I was so embarrassed as it was a bday dinner. Really poor and won't go back.

Starters lovely nice ambience a bit rowdy at times due to large parties of people celebrating. Polite friendly service when we got it but hard to get the attention as the restaurant was so busy . The chicken pasta was lovely however the seafood pasta had very small mussels in it and was very bland and this feedback was given . I have been on a number of occassions before and the food has been great so it would not put me off going back . Expensive lunch for 4 people would be good to have a cheaper lunch special as I dont mind paying these prices later in the evening

Great restaurant. The food is very good and not overpriced. Staff are good. One (and only one) gripe. It's so bloody dark I couldn't read the menu..! If you get a table with a light above it or a proper candle you'll be grand, .. .. tea lights didn't do it!

Now on my must visit list whenever I'm in Belfast. Even changed hotels so I'm closer to it. Always make sure I book now after calling in and not being able to get a table. As a vegetarian it is great to find a restaurant where I'm spoiled for choice.

I have been dying to come here for so long and just hadn’t got around to it, absolutely loved the food and the service was fantastic, price was spot on as well. The only, and I mean only thing that let the place down for me was the heat in the restaurant, we were sitting at the back and the heat was powerful to the point it was uncomfortable, to be fair for the most part of our time here the food took our minds off this, but it certainly would influence my decision to book again.

The food in Coppi was excellent, full of flavours and the chefs should be congratulated for this. The floor staff were very pleasant and helpful.
If I had one criticism it would be that the alcove, were I was seated, was a bit cramped.
Overall Coppi was excellent, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking Mediterranean style food in the Cathedral Quarter of Belfast.

The service was quite poor. Many different waiters serving us throughout the meal. one guy asked if we wanted to see the desert menu after we had our starter. The food came out almost immediately. I had the special starter and main course but they seemed pre prepared especially the pasta main which was quite clumped together in the bowl and was very lacklustre. The desserts came out and the plates where freezing cold as if they again had been pre prepared and just lifted out of the fridge. The restaurant was very busy and extremely loud and the food lacked a taste of quality. Food for the masses. I felt like I was in poor quality franchise. Frankie and Bennys would have been a better choice!

the food was fair , lacks flavour which is poor for Italian food , thought in general for what we got the price was a bit steep and the cost of the beer was the dearest I have ever paid , 2 small glasses of beer £9.50 , unheard off

Service was very slow on a not busy Monday. My fish (halibut) was over cooked and nearly tasteless. Our dessert was a strawberry panna cotta and again the strawberries were nearly tasteless. Is there an issue with the food sourcing?

The look of the restaurant is very appealing as is the look of the dishes. However the food was really disappointing given the cost and the length of time we had to wait for it.

Coppi always delivers on no fuss, good, flavoursome Italian food. We tried the mini pizzas for the first time and they were very tasty. Service is always good and Coppi does one of the best bottles of Chardonnay in Belfast. Most restaurants only offer Sauv Blanc & Pinot Grigio. We will be back (again).
