   Conveyor belt . I ended up eating a vegetarian meal because they couldn’t deal with a shell fish allergy. Also no sauce because couldn’t take out one ingredient for another guest . Very very disappointing for the price.

   Had not been there for a while but had an Australian guest with an appreciation for food and wine. Chose the Coq d'Argent and had a lovely experience. The theatre of the entrance, the amazing staff, extensive wine list and menu....everything delivered and my guest was hugely impressed. Getting 2000 vintages of top Bordeaux wines as opposed to the usual 2016-2020 we so often see was refreshing. Perfectly executed Wagyu steak and an apple looking dessert that hid an amazing parfait inside. Should visit again soon.

   We each had a drink at the bar, followed by a 3 course dinner with nice wines. The French waitress that served us was very polite and attentive, she checked if everything was okay for us. We will definitely come back. Thank you for your hospitality.

   Food was ok although Steak was a little over cooked in my opinion. The booking experience was disappointed as after I booked (with credit card confirmation) I was called, emailed and sent text messages to confirm the booking constantly, both by the restaurant and OpenTable. The restaurant was half empty when we were! Really annoying! Service was slow also due to a very large group eating lunch at the same time.

   The 28 day aged Angus Beef was smothered in a spicy peppery sauce which completely overwhelmed the flavour of the beef and was not enjoyable and poor value at £40.

   Eaten here dozens of times. Have noticed, many changes of staff over recent months, and except for one of reception hostesses, the standard has fallen. Particularly towards the end of my meal on Friday, NO ONE came to the table for 2 hours to ask if we wanted another drink or another coffee. The restaurant was not busy. I could have asked, but I wanted to see how long it would be before I got any service. It never came, i beckoned a waiter over at 11.00pm and asked for the bill. Not sure I will be back.

   It’s a very loud spot at lunch to actually have an easy conversation so be mindful if coming for that. £40 steak wasn’t the best, service was attentive and quick.

    This was the best restaurant we ate at while in London. We got the 3 course lunch special with such nice choices. The food was excellent as well as the service. We sat outside on the roof top patio. Would definitely recommend.

    On arrival, it was the good and pleasant staff. When seated at the table we asked for 2 Aperol spritzes whilst we waited for our table - this took 20 minutes. After that our other guest arrived and he was not offered a drink so we had to call the waiter back over. We ordered food but were not able to mix and match on the different menus but were given both to consider! Our main course arrived and then we were also served a portion of nuts - these should have come with our Aperol spritz about an hour before!! No offer of dessert until my wife asked for it and then no one came over to ask us if we wanted anything. Overall the service was appalling and I would not return. The setting and ambiance were great but a very disappointing experience...

    Tables all sticky .. not what you would expect from a top restaurant Food didn’t stand out either. Lamb shank was the smallest I e ever seen I won’t be returning soon

    Service was dreadful. Seemed to be some confusion with the evening standard deal and when this was questioned we were left to wait 25mins without drinks. We were there for 2.5hrs and only got one other drink after asking about 3 people. We felt like we had to beg to get a drink or any service. The food was ok. Nothing special. Whilst it was dreadful service, I can’t put this on any one person in thr restaurant as I feel that the waiting staff were just overrun on how many tables they had to cover

    When offered to taste an expensive bottle of vintage champagne, to discover it was as flat as a pancake, the waiter (not the sommelier) tried to convince us that this ‘the new style’ (a vintage champagne?!) and that it was perfectly fine. We disagreed and so did the sommelier, who didn’t bother to come and talk to us. My friend, a vegetarian, was unable to order the aubergine as it was unavailable. The only alternative was a dish comprised of under-cooked potato and carrots, in a curry sauce and a rice dome. No apology, no goodwill gesture, no conscience. Almost £600 to have an a very poor dining experience - won’t be back.

    They no longer offer their set price menu, which makes it loose it is USP as a great value restaurant. It now charges good brasserie food at Michelin star price. Shame but c'est la vie! Not returning soon.

    The menu was greatly reduced versus pre-covid. The starters and main courses we ordered were mediocre for the price. I would have had similar at Cafe Rouge. We sat on the terrace which was nice as ever. However the wait staff on the terrace seemed disinterested in serving us to the point that I wondered if I had somehow offended them. My dinner guest is a pescatarian which he told the waiter when we were first given menus. Some 10-15 minutes later, when I finally managed to get the waiter back to the table to order, the waiter had completely forgotten this. The waiter made a big deal about taking our order before we could speak with the sommelier about a wine so that the sommelier would already know our order. When I flagged down the sommelier after a further 10 minutes, his first question was “what have you ordered “. Our starter plates were only cleared when our main courses arrived to be served. Nobody asked at any point if everything was fine. Further efforts to flag down a waiter let us pay the bill, leave and go to the Ned for better service and dessert. Definitely not the restaurant it was before covid, which I really liked. No return visit for me

    The service, which started very well, broke down completely and overwhelmingly after we were given the dessert menus - we tried but failed to attract attention from any member of staff for 25 minutes so forfeited dessert and coffees, and ordered only the bill because by this stage we had to leave in a hurry. A very disappointing end to our meal.

    Coq D'argent terrace is an amazing place to sit and sip a cocktail and enjoy their great value saturday lunch menu in the sun! If the sun's not shining sit inside. Highly recommend this venue! Service was a bit slow to get started, but once we did it was great!

    Lovely atmosphere, especially if you’re lucky enough to book on a sunny day and eat outside, which we were! Food very good, as was service. Expensive though but worth it for a treat if not on company expenses!

    I have eaten here several times and the food is always good quality and well cooked. We had some issues this time, but the staff resolved them quickly and were apologetic. We weren’t rushed either so overall it’s was a good dining experience.

    Another good enjoyable meal at this high-quality City restaurant. The food is expensive and at these prices you do not expect to have constant sales pitches made to you to take extras - most diners know what they want from a menu such as this!

    Treated my mother in law to a birthday meal here and she absolutely adored it as she loves French food. I’m vegan and the two vegan options unexpectedly blew me away, they were gorgeous. The champagne and wine were amazing - the sommelier was extremely helpful and continuously kind and friendly. The service was outstanding, they were very helpful at all times. Waiters, sommeliers, hosts, and chefs of course. We are excited to return soon. Thank you for a lovely evening.

    The door was open to the Terrace and the restaurant was freezing. The staff said they couldn't close it as they had an outside booking and had nowhere to move us. Finally a manager came over and closed the door and moved our table. The food was good, but the service was very slow.
