Another great evening at Coq d’Argent. The staff were friendly and professional, and the Sommelier was in exceptional form with his recommendations again. The food, as always, was outstanding.
I have often shied away from Coq D'Argent - too loud/too many bankers. Now that the city is empty, the crowd was friendlier and the room felt more welcoming. The food on the set menu was great - service was friendly yet professional - thumbs up to Adnan. It's hard to find a wine under £45, but it can be done. Will definitely return post lockdown 2.0
The staff and the food were excellent.
Fantastic meal in a really nice environment. Great staff, polite and professional, and lovely food. A memorable and enjoyable experience. Many thanks!
Service was poor. Waited an hour to be served then sat with finished plates for a further 30 after asking someone to clear and being told staff will be along shortly. Hardly anyone in there so makes you wonder why?
Really enjoyed our evening at coq d’argent. The food and service was excellent and the set menu was very good value. Nice ambience, highly recommend.
Food excellent. Second time we've dined at this restaurant & food always at a high standard.
However on the occasion service below standard expected eg main course served but waited 10 minutes for white wine to be poured. Wrong bill given at end of meal.
Service and the environment were excellent. Alas I felt my food was too (table) salty. It was hard for me and my partner to taste anything else after noticing it. Portions were perfect and I cannot complain about anything else.
Amazing service and the restaurant has been organised to make you feel safe. Food was good but not the usual type of French food, some flavours did not mix very well. It was good to see the place during London restaurant festival.
We went there to celebrate our 10 year anniversary and had a great time...the food was super fresh and delicious, the service was great and the views from the terrace outstanding...It was however so brightly lit that it felt like a hotel lobby- and lacked ambience- by just by dimming the lights the experience would have felt more intimate and romantic...
Lovely dinner great service
Very impressed with my experience at Le Coq d'Argent in the context of the London Restaurant Festival. I had been meaning to go so this was a lovely context to try it out!
The menu was fantastic and every item in the menu was lovely.
Premium experience, I definitely recommend!
Great food, great service! The special offer set menu was well worth it. Will definitely be going back.
Nice experience..................................!
Great dinner and wine
Highly recommended, will definitely be back in the future
We had an amazing lunch and Abdul was outstanding (sorry I don’t remember his name correctly) thanks guys! We will be back.
As always I am never disappointed
Simply exquisite
Excellent ambience, food and service. Recommended for anyone seeking reassurance during covid. We were looked after very well
A stylish terrace setting with separate areas for drinks and dining. Refined French cuisine professionally served. Dietary requirements well catered for.
Delicious food and great space. Will definitely be back there again!
The 2 course set menu was value for money. Food was good and service attentive.
This is a great restaurant: good views of London from rooftop, quality food and excellent service, which is why it costs so much. A great dining experience and somewhere to which we return regularly.
Very nice restaurant and beautiful terrace. Recommend
Still superb! I used to frequent this restaurant when it first opened, and it was superb. Now returned after many years, delighted to find service, food and the overall environment was just perfect. We attended a small family event, and everyone of every age loved it!
fantastic lunch in a safe environment. The lovely wine list.
Just fabulous. Waiter was amazing! Good was amazing! Definitely will be coming back x
The staff were super attentive to my wheat intolerance - they advised what they were doing with each dish to make it safe for my consumption. Lovely atmosphere and top class service!
The waiters and management in the restaurant were fantastic and I have already recommended to a client. The front desk team however were appalling and I almost walked out initially. Brusque, rude, no customer skills whatsoever. 4 members of the team standing in bar area only one person serving. The others made no attempt to assist. As you walk in.....right side rubbish.... left side superb!! Hope this gets taken on board as I love this place and hate to see part of it neglected.
Well but unobtrusively organised for the pandemic, the staff were welcoming and attentive; service was excellent throughout.
The set menu provides sufficient choice, quality of food was excellent and represents very good value for money. Bottles of wine are quite dear so go for wine by the glass if it just two persons.
Set menu superb as always. Goats cheese filo excellent and coq au vin perfectly excecuted. Side dishes are pricey and push set menu bill up quite quickly.
Was a good night, the food is good, and the service was decent. Can't really complain.
Great restaurant, lovely food every time! And lovely staff
Not the greatest experience sadly. Had the eat out to help out menu and the food was mostly pretty average, with the coq au vin not being very good et all. Dry and uncooked mushrooms. The Macon village we chose was very good and the apple dessert was very interesting! Probably won’t dine here again on a deal.
Very nice to eat out again in a quality restaurant
Set menu was good value for money. The temperature inside was a bit too high.
Great lunch on the terrace.
This is one of my favourite places in the City I am always there, today I took members of my team as part of the government scheme . The food is always amazing. However today the service suffered.
Its a must place, food and ambience always amazing
