I love this place! Love how Matt’s crew has stepped up to take care of this place. A great way to honor his memory
The good thing about this place it was hidden, but over all the food I was not satisfied with. The serve was nice. I guess you can say I expected good food. I am Latin and to me that wasnt Latin food. Very pricey for food that wasn't all that good too. I will not be coming here again.
Great place for an chill vibe, great margaritas and good food!
Always love the food. House margarita average, but overall great place to dine.
We went for a family celebration and had never eaten there before; we loved it! Love the back patio during this warm weather - even had a great picture taken for the family!
Nice place for upscale mexican. Good margaritas. My favorite is the corn ravioli which isn't mexican at all.
My first indoor restaurant since I've been vaccinated. Was there with a couple of writer friends.
It was safe, room for social distancing, and fantastic.
The food was great, due to a mixup with my order (not the servers fault) I tried something I had wanted to try but never quite got around to.
There are traditional-style things on the menu as well as some very interesting fusion entrees, which makes it very refreshing.
They moved the delightful little coyote sculptures from when I was there pre-COVID, although it does give a slightly more modern vibe now.
We have been going to Coyote Cantina for over 20 yrs due to the great food, great margaritas and excellent service. We continued supporting them through 2020 and Covid as we loved this place. However, they may have lost most of their excellent servers and now hired untrained teens.
The service was terrible! We ordered drinks and had to go get them ourselves as our food arrived prior to them. The waitress was very unfriendly and not helpful, needs training and perhaps a different line of work.
We sat outside in their patio, which had some updates but, the tables were so shabby (not chic) and we sat next to an electrical panel. No ambience, outside or inside ,after redecorating.
We were super disappointed!
Will not return for some time
Had not been here in years and the service and food remain at 100%!
Good find in Redondo Beach. I've always wanted to try this place it didn't disappoint.
It was false advertising! It was a hole in the wall little restaurant that definitely needed no reservations! Food was terrible. I had the Mexican soup which tasted burnt and the crab and lobster enchiladas. Rice and beans was dry, the enchiladas were drowned in green sauce and the “crab and lobster” was horrible. All in all I give this place a 1
Loved the food, drinks, and service!
Excellent across the board. However, We were seated outside in a narrow walkway ( our choice ). A party if 19 decided to exit the restaurant is the walkway instead of going through the main entrance. Not great having people walk right past the table so close hovering past our food. Not the restaurant’s fault, some people are just inconsiderate morons.
Great place for the family!! Great food and service!
Great food, great service. They accommodated our large party of 7 with ease.
Megan was great. Food is delicious as always.
It was wonderul
Excellent crab and lobster enchiladas!!!
They only had 2 servers because 2 people called out. We waited 25 minutes for our order to be taken, 30 minutes to get glasses of water (I had to approach the person who gives water to ask for them) 45 minutes to get our margaritas. We had our meal about an hour after being seated. Service was horrible and food was fair. Very disappointed.
They received waves of reservations which made everyone wait for a table. Frustration came when a table seated after us, being waited on by our waiter, had their food before our order was taken.
Server got the bill mixed up and I’m still trying to resolve it. Charged the wrong amount to two different cards. Even after I wrote down the amounts for each card to be charged. Very annoying.
Great margaritas! Food was tasty!
Disappointed in CC, the food and margaritas were not up to par. My mango maggie didn’t even taste like mango. The carne asada was bland! I have been going there for many years, first time back since COVID & won’t be returning.
Great food and drinks and service
Meal with family. The food, service, and drinks were excellent, as I always remembered it years pre-Covid.
Nice neighborhood Mexican restaurant! Good for everyday dining and if you want to keep your eat out on budget. Recommend it!
I dont often write a review
But i recommend avaoiding this establishment
I took my middle achool aged kids on a tuesday 7ish w rez
We are not fancy people... we have had many a taco
These were barely edible. Gross . kids tried to eat them
I tried my two
Carmitas and Beef could barely tell the difference
Kids didnt even like the rice - usually they eat any rice
Maragrita was mediocre at best served slightly warm
Staff was so slammed i just paid the bill and left
Im all about supporting local business and i still tipped
But i recommend steering clear of this place
Food amd drinks terrible
We all work hard for our money...save yours.
Everything was great. Food and service are always excellent at Coyote!!!
The food was not enjoyable at all and I’m normally not someone that is very picky about food. Our server was very kind and understanding. The overall restaurant was very nice and enjoyable. The food was not tasty at all to me.
Great service and delicious food. Would definitely come back.
Love this place. Good is good and unique. Not your typical Mexican restaurant and service is always so nice.
So great to eat out and meet up with friends while staying socially safe. Love Coyote. Home away from home!!
Fantastic, as always! Love the street tacos and salsa!
Food was delicious! Loved the tortilla soup and the blackened chicken enchiladas.
Always great. Wonderful salsa and great sauces on entrees. Try sweet corn ravioli or Mexican lasagna for a real treat! Wonderful salads and happy hour. Awesome staff!!
It was nice considering the circumstances. Will be happy when we can dine in again
It’s very hard to evaluate now that restaurants are having to figure out how to keep going
With COVID. We will go back when we can dine inside again. Everyone there works hard
and they are remodeling so I know it’s going to be nice when they are done. Staff was nice.
The food and service was excellent
One of our favorites. We try and visit weekly and we love what they have done with the rear patio.
Great food and great service! Love that their rice and beans are vegetarian... not always the case at Mexican restaurants.
I love it here! My go to spot for a weekend drink and dinner. The staff is wonderful, they always remember me and make me feel right at home! I’ll keep coming back that is for sure!
