Love the beautiful tastes of the stunning food presented like art on the plate. Fine dining and incredible service with a great atmosphere. With perfect decor, ambiance and views, Craft house is a desirable, must-visit restaurant.
We have eaten here many times before and loved it. I wonder if it has changed hands and last night it just wasn’t the usual experience.
We were sat at a nice table with a view. My daughter went to the loo and my wife went to check out coats (no one offered to take them) but the waitress still came over and distributed menus and started going through what wasn’t available on the menu even though there was only myself sat down.
The menu has changed so that sharing dishes (£85 beef) no longer comes which a couple of side dishes and sauce so these have to be ordered separately.
We ordered the Côté de beef medium rare and a separate steak rare.
Starters were good and large.
The main course came after a long time and the rare steak was cooked correctly but stone cold and the core de beef was cooked right through with not a bit of pink in site (in my opinion well done rather than medium rare).
I think standards at this restaurant are slipping and probably will try somewhere else next time we want an expensive steak meal
Attentive and friendly staff. Food and ambiance are worth the price.
We were due to go to HOME this evening, however they messed up our booking and so we ended up at Crafthouse, and I am glad that we did. Perfect for a romantic meal, service was brilliant, and food delish. Thank you !
Average. Lovely setting, decent meal, nice staff, nothing special. Wouldn’t rush back, could be so much better
This is a favourite venue for a special lunch with girlfriends. We go every three months or so and the fixed price lunch menu is always different and excellent value. The dishes are all beautifully presented and just that little bit out of the ordinary. Never been disappointed.
The service is always excellent - but not overpowering or over attentive.
Wish we could find more places like this!
Amazing food and service, we loved it and shall definitely be returning.
Food portions would be my only criticism! Not nearly enough of such a delicious dish.
All my favourite
The food is tasty. If the price will be lower, it couldn’t be better
Beautiful food but not quite enough, neither of us has a sweet tooth so didn’t want dessert. We went somewhere else afterwards and ate a bit more.
Cannot complain about anything. From the moment we walked in we were wowed over. The service was amazing, the food was amazing and the views were outstanding. 10/10 and would definitely go there again. Thank you for a wonderful experience !
Great ambient vibe and relaxed setting. Bit annoyed about only one vegan option and was advised their was none left but thankfully the kitchen were able to prepare a portion for me
Atmosphere and food were great. We weren’t rushed at any point to leave the table which is always nice.
The only thing that wasn’t as good was the service. It was slow, our waiter was distracted, I had to chase both rounds of drinks (our food came before our first drinks). The waiter split water over the table (a complete accident) but never came back to clean it up. The service just wasn’t as good as expected.
Superb food in lovely surroundings. Attentive service made for a very pleasurable evening. A 'tad' on the expensive side, but worth it given the skill of the chefs. Presentation of food was beautiful and the sauce accompanying the fillet divine.
Amazing service and ambience. Food was cooked to perfection. Will definitely return.
Great value for fantastic food early doors. Views were lovely and we weren’t hurried from the table.
Great food , great staff
Came for sunday lunch. Food great but service slow, recieved the sunday roast before our drinks! Also the blinds were down so couldnt see the view. Again though food was fab but broccolli was tad too spicy and it didnt say on the menu that it came with chilli. X
My partner and I came for his birthday. We had not been here before.
Everything was excellent, food was fantastic and the service great.
The only slight snag was the wine we wanted by the bottle only seemed to be available by the carafe, the waiter wasn’t able to find us an alternatively confidently.
However we still had a lovely evening and would definitely come again.
Great food and great value for set menu. Will return
The best restaurant in Leeds. Great location overlooking the rooftops, food excellent, great choice; and good wines. It's not cheap though, £60 per head incl wine, so a special occasion place.
Fantastic staff, lovely food and beautiful setting
Fine dining above the rooftops of Leeds.
Perfect for steak lovers.
Cheff was happy to alter menu due to me being pregnant. Was also moved to a different table which could accommodate my bump with more comftable seating without any hesitation. Server had a very personal manner which was welcomed on our visit. Ambience perfect for a romantic meal.
Excellent service from start to finish the fish and chips were to die for !! Brilliant waiter very attentive and welcoming I would definitely return if we came back to Leeds and I will definitely recommend thanks
Visiting from London, I highly recommend Crafthouse! The ambiance is fantastic, although it's pretty noisy. The food was excellent as well! We had a fixed price menu which made it excellent value, but, had we chosen from the "normal" menu, it would have been incredibly pricey indeed - at least London prices. All in all though, we loved it and would highly recommend it!
The food and atmosphere at Craft House was perfect for our anniversary meal before we went to a concert in the city. Thank you!
Still the best restaurant in Leeds. I had the set menu for a change, amazing value and no compromise on the quality.
We try new places but nothing comes close.
Our waitress Katie was outstanding, professional, friendly and knows her stuff.
Head Chef... outstanding
Well done Crafthouse!
Staff were very attentive and food presentation excellent
Few things not on the menu that that ordered from both the starters, mains and wine list.
Excellent meal, loveky ambience in a great setting, highly recommended.
Fabulous staff, food and drink - will definitely go back - highly recommend it. The food was delicious, our waitress was very attentive and hospitable, and the prosecco was free flowing
Atttentive service, delicious food and very good cocktails!
Fantastic food and service - highly recommended 🌟🌟
There was mix up with our booking, we were booked into Angelica rather than Crafthouse. This was sorted & we were taken down a floor to Crafthouse. We found the portion size of the starter to be tiny. It was tasty & attractively presented, but we were expecting more to eat. Because of that we appreciated the warm bread roll and butter which were complimentary. The main course was fine but we had to pay extra for vegetables, which seems to be the norm now. The ambience was smart but not stuffy, & the waiting staff were fantastic. We enjoyed our meal, but it was rather expensive for what was offered. However we appreciate that the city centre location & the rooftop views will command a high price.
Had the tasting menu.
Food was AMAZING! Loved every bite.
Unfortunately the service was slow and I wasn’t given the final wine of my wine pairing.
The maitre d’ kindly took all of our drinks off the bill to make for it.
It’s a lovely restaurant with nice atmosphere but the furniture’s starting to look a bit shabby now and I wasn’t keen on the live singer and musician, sorry!
This is simply the best restaurant I have been too in Leeds, the food is so worth the money! The staff were also very welcoming and polite from start to end...I can’t wait to visit the Crafthouse again in the future.
Nice place but service too intrusive and fast at 6pm as the restaurant was quite and too many staff looking for something to do. For the price of the food at £14 for a starter and £23 for a main it wasn’t refined or good enough. The food was still good but the poorest I have had when paying similar prices. The puddings however were excellent. The five sharing selection was delicious and great value.
Pretty good but not good enough to rush back to with the other competition in Leeds.
Service ok staff friendly, food ok, but not a lot of choices, very annoying music in restaurant, toilets are dirty and disgusting, we had coffee! Who decided that it is ok to give you a hot coffee in a whisk glass! Poor
