A most enjoyable evening. The food was excellent and enjoyed by all the party. I thought the wine was a little expensive, but this should be considered as a minor criticism.
A pleasant lunch. The chateaubriand In particular was excellent. The restaurant had few customers which led to a subdued atmosphere but the serving staff were friendly and helpful. It was an enjoyable if not distinctive experience.
Exciting chic venue with good views over the rooftops. Could probably do with a good value lunch deal as it was deserted. Lovely friendly service, very good tasty food - some of the proportions weren't quite right but instantly rectified, and extra sauces no trouble. Disappointingly thin dessert menu, but the sorbets were delicious. Good wine list, with reasonably priced choices as well as vintage on offer. Overall value , it's worth paying the premium for the quality of food and the place.

An exceptional waitress made up for the lack of others
Nice place to eat with chill music
Poor service waiter did not have knowledge of menu. Or the drinks limited gluten free choice
Genuinely one of the best restaurants I've been to in the world. We had the 5 course taster menu on Valentines Evening and the food was absolutely stunning. The atmosphere and the candlelit table with a rose were lovely. The live pianist was an amazing touch. The waiter was around our tables every few minutes and we were treat really well. The cocktails and wine were nice. The meal and drinks cost around £250 but we felt we had value for money. 10/10 from us :)
Great place and great night, amazing service... top evening!
Service was very slow and they weren’t even busy. Food was average, nothing special.
Not too easy to find, but well worth the effort. Great food and service.
We go here for New Years lunch every year with our small children and it is always wonderful. It is quite rare an upscale restaurant are so accommodating to toddlers but they are very welcome here and the food is delicious.
We went for Sunday lunch and the food was lovely however, I would have liked a traditional Sunday roast but there was only beef or Lamb and I don’t eat red meat. It would have been nice to have a chicken option. I ended up with a fish dish.
Our waitress really made our afternoon. She was fantastic. Everyone commented on how lovely she was.
Très bon repas et service impeccable
Hello, Thank you for taking the time to review our restaurant. We are thrilled to hear you have enjoyed your visit at Crafthouse. I will be sure to pass on your kind words to the whole team! We look forward to welcoming you again at Crafthouse in the near future. Kindest Regards, Hubert
Very average, poor seating.
Asked for some advice on the wine choice, ‘White or red’, no idea.
Then the white we got was warm, parked 5 yards away so you had to wait to top your own glass up, with the warm bottle.
Food so slow, so poor for what you expect.
Bill comes ‘do you want to pay the £25 service charge, it is optional’
I said ‘if you believe it’s deserved, I’ll let you choose’
Waitress said pretty much, ok I’ll put it on....
Excellent food and service. Attentive staff. Good menu choices. Good view over the streets below.
Good afternoon Donald. Thank you for taking the time to leave us these kind words. I am delighted to hear that you enjoyed our menu and the views over Leeds. We hope to welcome you back again soon. Kindest regards, Lydia
Great service and food
Nice restaurant... upmarket feel .. can improve the service....
Ate outside on a beautiful day and the food was outstanding
A delicious and exciting dining experience. Would love to try the tasting menu next.
Good afternoon Elizabeth, Thank you for taking the time to leave us these kind words, I will be sure to pass them on to the team. We hope to welcome you back soon to enjoy our 7 course tasting menu- it's not one to be missed! Kindest regards, Lydia
Great occasion to celebrate an engagement! Our server Katie went above and beyond for us, food delicious and a lovely setting!
A fantastic Sunday lunch for our anniversary. The food was great and the service was excellent. We were offered some prosecco free of charge to celebrate our special day. We also received a treat for dessert. Both were gratefully received. The Sunday roast was particularly good - we both had roast beef. I would definitely recommend the restaurant and we will visit again. Thank you
Fantastic food and brilliant service
Warm friendly greeting and service
Tasty food and lunch menu very good value
Definitely will return
Waiter, food runner, host and food were amazing!
Friendly and professional staff, clean environment, lovely atmosphere. Excellent food, definitely recommended and definitely I’m going again.
Super service on arrival, and throughout. The meal was exquisite, great ambience. Will definitely go again.
Warm friendly service from start to finish excellent food
Highly recommend Craft house
Very nice room, great food, extremely good service at all levels making the visit feeling special.
It was our wedding anniversary, I hadn’t mentioned that when I booked.
The receptionist asked why we were dining. I said it was our 30 wedding anniversary.
We were shown to the table, where I ordered drinks. They came and along with them were two glasses of complimentary champagne, this was a lovely surprise.
We ordered our food and waited.
The food was fabulous, the service was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble for them. When the bill came, I was asked if I was paying the service charge, rather than assuming it would be paid, which I thought was another nice gesture.
Overall a wonderful experience I would recommend to anyone to give it a try.
Well done to all the staff and management at the Crafthouse, thank you.
This isn’t an everyday restaurant but the meal was a special occasion and the experience was very much special. The service from entering was exceptional and second to none! Little things like not being asked who is having what meal and the server knowing who is having what dish goes a long way. Our drinks where never left dry nor did we have to prompt to order more drinks, the service was seamless. The food again was outstanding and there is much more else to say other than that. Thank you for truly wonderful experience.
Gorgeous restaurant with lovely views, smart and welcoming. We had a couple of issues with the cooking of the steaks, but this was quickly ammended and we were not charged. Superb service, delicious desserts and the mini lemon friands were to die for, a great evening out!
Went to CraftHouse for Graduation. Never had been before but had heard good things... And we're not disappointed. The restaurant is very nicely decorated. We were seated straight with water arriving shortly after. The staff were great, knowledgeable and friendly. The food was delicious though a little on the small side. All in all a great experience, with great food and great staff. Will be back!
Having dined at Crafthouse some years ago when it was under the direction of the original Exec Chef Lee who opened the restaurant I was looking forward to another experience for my daughters graduation. Unfortunately my return visit didn't live up to my expectations. Personally I think the the restaurant's focus (in conjunction with Angelic's rooftop bar above) is more in the direction on a "Bar with Food" rather than a Restaurant. The setting & surroundings are fabulous but I think the dining experience needs improvement.
We had a lovely afternoon, enjoyed the food and the sun was shining. The staff were so pleasant and kind, and we enjoyed the set menu. We will definitely be back!
Overall, very good. Both mine and fellow diner’s rib eye steaks were a little on the sinewy-side. Service very attentive if felt a touch over eager to charge the glasses with wine/water...perhaps being a little harsh.
Love the beautiful tastes of the stunning food presented like art on the plate. Fine dining and incredible service with a great atmosphere. With perfect decor, ambiance and views, Craft house is a desirable, must-visit restaurant.
We have eaten here many times before and loved it. I wonder if it has changed hands and last night it just wasn’t the usual experience.
We were sat at a nice table with a view. My daughter went to the loo and my wife went to check out coats (no one offered to take them) but the waitress still came over and distributed menus and started going through what wasn’t available on the menu even though there was only myself sat down.
The menu has changed so that sharing dishes (£85 beef) no longer comes which a couple of side dishes and sauce so these have to be ordered separately.
We ordered the Côté de beef medium rare and a separate steak rare.
Starters were good and large.
The main course came after a long time and the rare steak was cooked correctly but stone cold and the core de beef was cooked right through with not a bit of pink in site (in my opinion well done rather than medium rare).
I think standards at this restaurant are slipping and probably will try somewhere else next time we want an expensive steak meal
