Parmesan Steak Fries
The food was fabulous. The wait staff was friendly, helpful and attentive.
Service was fantastic as well as the food. We will definitely be back again.
From outside St. Louis. Steak and pork chop were excellent, mashed potatoes were really good. Building is very nice. Had the J . lohr cab, it was delicious. Mixup on the house manhattan, I’m not sure it had in bourbon in it. Returned and removed from the bill, as it should have been. Got an Angels Envy neat, delicious. Would go again. The downtown area is what we all would hope for.
Great food, atmosphere and staff
Server was very inattentive and the ribeye was extremely fatty and full of gristle and the carrots were barely cooked. It was not worth the cost.
Great place to eat for a special occasion. Had a great meal and a attentive waiter.
Cool atmosphere, loved food, great, friendly and funny service
Sat outside - waited 20 minutes for drink order tho got water right away - that was good. Ordered a bottle of wine after 15 minutes told they told us they didn’t have that wine. Ordered a different bottle, another 15 - don’t have that one either. We Said if you can give us a two for one glass of wine, we’ll stay, otherwise we’re out of here. Food was good, however pasta dishes usually come with bread sticks or French bread - we got nothing. Pasta was supposed to be shrimp and crab. Shrimp was plentiful, crab was not existent. Was not a good experience.
I ordered the shrimp and crab linguini. There was no crab meat nor did it have any flavor of crab. The shrimp linguini was excellent.
Love this place, as always, they removed the filet 2 ways, so that’s a bummer.
EPIC FAIL. ordered Chicken Fried Steak. After almost one hour wait received food after finally asking server to check. Received chicken fried chicken. Notified server. Then received tough, uncuttable steak which was burnt to a crisp. Entree should never have been sent from the kitchen. Where is chef or expeditor in this restaurant? Does no one bother to check on quality?
Appetizer never received. Was told it was taken to another table. Given a to go appetizer on the house. Big joke as you can see
With all of the issues a manager never once touched the table. Why? Inexcusable.
I made a reservation for 7 PM, after arriving i was seated right away. Th service was great, appetizers and meal was excellent.
One of Sioux Falls' best sources for a unique ambiance and spectacular food. The menu is consistently bright, fresh, and carefully crafted. The service is consistently excellent. Crawford's is the go-to for me and my friends for late night drinks and snacking (particularly the charcuterie board).
Unfortunately on our first visit we were set next to the pass. Plates being thrown in pan wait staff going by us but never filling our water, no plates for appetizer lots of little things missed. The place and food was excellent. We will go back and try again just make sure we are not seated there again.
Service and food was great. We picked New items on the menu and they were amazing.
Excellent service by the waiter.
Food is tasty and fair amount but a little pricey. I enjoyed the low noise level and quick service.
I would definitely go their for dinner again.
The walleye dinner was recommended by our server and was outstanding!
Food and service were very good. Dessert was spot on too.
The food was very good and the portions were large. I do recommend making reservation because there was no wait time with our reservation.
First time here and loved it. Such a pretty and unique interior that captures the historical sense of the building. Clever and delicious offerings. Great staff!
This is the second time in 3 years that we have had the pleasure of dining at Crawford's Bar & Grill on our way from Georgia to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. We had such a good time the first time we made it part of plans while staying over night at Sioux Falls. We will be sure to stop again the next time we are coming through town. The Dirty Fries were a new try for us and they were outstanding!!
My bride and I were celebrating our 39th wedding anniversary on September 4th. Both our meals were absolutely delicious (I had the steak and she had the walleye) and the bottle of wine was great. Service was outstanding with just the right amount of attention. What a great place to celebrate our anniversary. Will definitely be back again very soon.
The food and drinks were excellent. However, our bill was over $100 and we expected the experience to match the prices. The restroom hand soap was on the countertop in a jug, four lighting fixtures had burnt out bulbs, the waitresses dress very casual, and a worker wore a shirt that said 'I'd rather be cummin than strokin'. A restaurant offering a steak for $70 should have more class.
Super bummed about the menu changes. Fish was under cooked. Steak over cooked. Bring back the old menu. Mushroom risotto was way too garlicky.
We loved this restaurant. The staff was amazing, fast service, and very kind. The food was amazing and we got our food fast. Will definitely recommend to everyone I know.
Went their for our 35th wedding anniversary. Casey was our waitress. Food was outstanding. Everything was perfect. When I go back, hope you can duplicate!
Really great food but found it a bit pricey. Service outside was a bit slow.
The food was really good. It was expensive but great for a special occasion. The atmosphere is eclectic and fun.
The food was fantastic: Walleye & Cowboy Ribeye...thick cut!
We stopped into Crawford’s for a much needed date night. This wasn’t our first time at Crawford’s, but I think after last night this will be our go to! All our food came out perfectly and our server was very attentive. I noticed that they had a new menu and we can’t wait to come back a try some of the new additions.
Smoked Old Fashioned was delicious. Server was amazing!
I have been to this restaurant about 3 times now. Once with friends and twice with colleagues. Each time, I get more and more disappointed with their service. I had booked a table for 5 for our group. All my colleagues had arrived and were seated. I walked in and waited by the Maitre’d station. Then this lady walks up to the station, completely ignores me and starts rummaging through stuff. I finally said: “pls excuse me, could you help me find my folk…”, turning away from me and interrupting simultaneously threw the question “ your folk??” right back before I could describe who they were. Then when I told her who we were, her attitude changed and she became friendly. I just have a feeling that sadly this restaurant, which has recently changed hands needs to not treat certain people in a certain way. You never know who the person you are dealing with is. I will not be coming back except for work related dinners which I wouldn’t be paying for. Luckily there are other nicer places in Sioux Falls. That treatment was disgusting and no one deserves that. On the upside, the server was nice but then she knew who we were and what organization we were from. I
Terrible service. Overpriced food.
Crawfords is always great, always dependable. We weren't used to dining on a busy night like last Saturday. Our server was obviously overwhelmed, but seemed to handle everything with aplomb. One tiny complaint; We were seated upstairs for the first time and the noise level in that section is amplified, especially when there's a party of 12 young women with gorgeous flapper dresses seated next to us having a good time. We will be back....again and again.
Charcuterie board was sub par - cubed cheese?? No fruit, no preserves, no olives, meats were not what I would consider “artisan” … cheese bland, no blue, all 4 cheeses were mild and rather flavorless. Would not order again.
Cajun chicken, good flavor but dry.
Food and service was great! It was a fun l, fantastic atmosphere!
We went for a special 10 year anniversary dinner and expected a fairly quiet intimate atmosphere. We were seated next to an extremely loud group of over 20 people yelling across the 4 tables slid together and parents not tending to their kids. We understand that you can’t necessarily control other people but we passed other quieter tables and could have been moved. (The bar would have even been quieter) Aside from that the service was terrible. We asked for bread multiple times and our waitress came one time to fill our water glasses. Our bill came and was wrong because what we tried ordering was unavailable. The food was incredible though. When we tried to leave after paying we were blocked in by trays of salads for the large group and had to wait to move until they were served. Not exactly what we wanted to remember.
Had a business dinner for nine people at Crawford‘s and it was excellent! I hadn’t been there for a few years and I will definitely go back in the near future. The food and the service were very good!
Never disappointed from Crawford’s food and service! The lavender lemon drop cocktail is to die for. Highly recommend!
Very fun atmosphere, food is good and great history on the building Really enjoyed ourselves!
