Quirky place. Good variety of food but we couldn't finish it. Lovely dessert to finish off the meal.

I have been to many restaurants over the years and this has to rate as one of the best, the food was nothing less than sensational and the staff and service was perfect, not over the top but just right, I can't recommend this restaurant more highly and it's perfect for a special occasion, one of their 12 course menu is a wonderful idea as you get a taste of many of their great dishes, can't wait to return.

We had a good meal here but sadly it didn't live up to my expectations, which admittedly were quite high. I thought the food was quite average and therefore quite expensive for what is was. The toilets are not marked, they are behind a 'secret' door so I had to ask twice where they were.

Crazy Bear refused to honour my booking of the Open Table offrr for the Signature menu on the grounds that there was a minimum table size of 2. This is clearly not the case on OT, my confirmation email was clear and Crazy Bear had contacted my directly to confirm the booking. They attempted to get me to stay by offering the a la carte and I walked out.

The waiter kept telling us that’s about expensive when going through the menu, maybe thought we couldn’t afford it? But otherwise everything was fine.

I wanted to go somewhere special and had seen Crazy Bear advertised in a lot of places so I thought I would give it a try. When we were sat down we were in the corner which was quite nice a private but it is also right by the kitchen entrance so there were a lot of people constantly going in and out. We got the signature menu which initially sounded great but in hindsight, wasn't that good (rice was counted as a dish). Most of the food was ok, not bad but not amazing. They had forgotten the edamame beans, which wasn't an issue but had to be prompted. The main issue was the crispy pork belly because it wasn't crispy - it must have either been microwaved, rewarmed in an oven or just sat out under a warming lamp for a while because it was chewy. For what we got in terms of food on that particular set menu, you are probably better off going to China Town and looking for a Chinese restaurant. The service was very good, when we told our server about the issues he immediately brought out the edamame and ordered us some new pork. The pork was crispier but still not that good. Overall, we had a good evening, it wasn't ruined or anything and the ambience was nice but sadly it's just not somewhere I would choose to go back to.

I'm not a fan of people who hunt so when I walked in and saw a baby giraffe taxidermy hanging from the ceiling...I should have walked out. With that being said I did not and asked to move somewhere that I didn't have to look at it.
Food was good. The server wasn't great.

The food was amazing and I loved the decor and surroundings.
The staff were so nice & treated us to a special dessert as it was our anniversary. Then we also relaxed in the bar downstairs after our dinner. A great evening.

Leather on the sofa where I was sitting damaged. The chef made the wrong sushi. Ordered a bottle of wine, wine put in the container with the ice with other bottles of other table. What kind of service is it?

I've wanted to come to Crazy Bear for a long time and I wasn't disappointed. Service eally does make the dining experience go along way and we were well served especially by Leon who took the time to explain the menu and accommodate our requests.

The food was lovely and there was plenty of it which was unexpected considering we were paying £33 for 12 plates and a glass of Champagne.

I would definitely come back, its agreat place for friends and for romantic nights. Thank you Crazy Bear.

I went to have dinner with my sister and my mum and it was incredible.
Food was good and the service was excellent.
The only thing we didn’t like at all was the death giraffe hanging up from the celling that they have as a decoration.

Poor service, really disappointed it was disaster from the minute we walked through the door. We often entertain customers and family at Crazy Bear. We were there for a special occasion which was completely ruined by the lack of service.

It was my boyfriend birthday. Honestly I didn’t expect this experience after reading the reviews I thought I would give it a go and to be honest it wasn’t good. We got seated in a old style living room which wasnt the greatest but had no choice, then the food which was completely surprising the food was cold and tasteless and weird I mean weird as it didn’t smell great so I couldn’t eat bits of it and to be honest the pad Thai was cold and had prawns and egg which I said I didn’t want. I just didn’t enjoy my experience at all I think the food could of been warmer or pretended as if you actually made it even if you didn’t it just didn’t make sense and the drinks we ordered took more then 40 mins which seem very long in my eyes just for cocktails. Honestly I don’t know if would go back the food is really tasteless and cold which really put me off especially when it’s already cold outside.

I always thought the Crazy Bear group was an upmarket brand, how wrong I was! We arrived at 8pm for our reserved seats at the bar, only to be given 2 out of the 4 seats, and no space for the extra 2. There was a boisterous Christmas party going on in the confined area, so loud drunk people were dancing right behind us. I get that it was a Saturday night in December, but this wasn't the ambiance I was expecting. Also the decor was all very tired and jaded looking. We left after 5 mins and went to the pub across the road which was much nicer!

Yes if we are looking at the food/service. However, i thought i had booked a table in the restaurant upstairs, but we were placed in a booth in the bar, which was far too noisy, we were having to shout at each other as we couldnt have a conversation.

As you were hosting a christmas party in thr bar, it felt like we were being overlooked the whole time.

Check where you are seated when making a booking.

Nice food and service, shame about the seating area!

Absolutely appalling. Arrived at the restaurant, presented with the 12 course set menu (which differed from the website/open table). We requested 2 alterations as two courses were Pork which we do not eat. We were advised we could ONLY swap those 2 for two duck courses (not beef, chicken, lamb, fish - not even for two vegatarian courses from the vegatarian 12 course set menu. So our 12 course set menu would now have 3 course of duck. After discussing this with various members of staff and also with someone who seemed to be the manager, we came to the decision that we would not be accomodated. We advised him we would need to leave and we were given a funny look, he then turned his back on us and walked away without a word of apology or anything. We then walked out. DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT. On a positive note Crazy Bear in Beaconsfield is of a much higher standard of service and very accomodating and is worth a visit

After being told that our table wasn’t ready upon arrival, we sat at the bar and waited for 15-20 minutes. Once we were seated at a table we were told that the kitchen was closing and would need to order straight away. We didn’t even get a chance to look through the menu properly. We we told we could not order any sushi and the sushi bar was now closed. We place our order and after 10 minutes was told that I could no longer have the dim sum that I had ordered and would not be able to pick anything else off the menu to replace it. Fast forward 30 minutes after being annoyed at our experience and how we were handled the manager came over and told us the chef is not making our food!!! We had now been there over a hour, hungry and angry at our experience. We had been waiting all that time for nothing. To top things off it was my friends birthday. This is so unacceptable and I will never be visiting the restaurant again. We were so hungry that we drove to china town.
