Inspired seasonal specials, a good wine list and excellent service
Great pre-opera dinner. Food was delicious. I loved the clams!
Restaurant was very accommodating as a place to eat before attending the opera. Our very pregnant server was extremely nice and very helpful. Restaurant staff completely understands timing requirements for pre-opera dining.
Erin, our server, made the whole visit go higher in my estimation. Everything was fine but she has that sunny disposition that just makes everything shine brighter.
Lasagna worthy of more visits.
I had the seafood special and it was excellent. The service was somewhat slow. We were headed to the opera and concerned about the time. Our window looking out at the street created a very pleasant ambiance. I am really glad we discovered a pleasant dining spot before the opera.
Fantastic neighborhood gem that is worth the trip! Beautiful decor, pleasant staff and amazing food! While the menu is sparse, everything we ate was ethereal.
Starting with Manila clams, perfectly cooked and served in a bowl of decadent broth brimming with garlic and chorizo. Do yourself a favor and order extra brad for soaking up this heavenly liquid.
For the main we shared the lasagna. A gargantuan slice, served with a beautiful homemade gravy that complements the pasta perfectly. Hand made lasagna noodles with perfectly cooked beef and a wonderful BechaMel. Ask for extra sauce, it is worth it.
For dessert, we enjoyed the zucchini cake with toffee ice cream. Absolutely incredible. Everything from start to finish at this restaurant was perfect. I will certainly be back next time I am in Seattle
This is a great restaurant before a show. The food is always very good and the service was excellent. The only criticism I have is that we had 5:30 dinner reservations before a show. When we arrived, the restaurant was not full. We were seated at a middle table and asked if we could be seated at the corner table as it was a bit more quiet. The host said emphatically - no, that is reserved only for parties of 3. We understood that, so had no issue with the host's statement. However, about 10 minutes later, a couple (only 2 people) were seated at that table. It really felt like a lie to us and initially it ruined our experience. But the server and the food were excellent so it made up for the experience.
The food, service and ambience were incredible! We had a wonderful night and will be eating here again!
The Fall menu had just been released the day before we dined and the majority of our table gravitated towards the House Brined Pork Chop with Spaetzle, which was (OMG) delicious and a huge chop. The other member of our party had the Fall Mushroom Risotto which we all had a spoonful of and were also quite pleased. Our server was wonderful and provided us with good suggestions throughout. We did opt for a medley of desserts, but weren't wowed by any of those offerings. Still good, but paled in comparison to the actual meals. Crow is a short walk (~10 minutes) to the Seattle Opera/Ballet, Seattle Rep and Cornish Playhouse for those of you looking for pre-theatre dining. Just let your server know you're trying to catch a show and they'll try and accommodate. We will definitely be back.
Another fantastic meal at the Chef's Counter, this time before the ballet to celebrate our anniversary. The food is wonderful, deeply satisfying and absolutely delicious. The only possible drawback is that the portion sizes are slightly too generous to have 3 courses - in our case, sharing the starter - without feeling slightly stuffed!
It was really a big disappointment...
OpenTable reservation asked me if there were any special requests and I wrote down that it was my mother's 60th birthday. There were no signs or even heads up indicating that they have prepared anything for my request. I understand if the restaurant doesn't do these type of things but if the sever could have told me ahead of time when we entered...it would have been fine.
I had to go ask the server separately and she positively said she'll bring out a cake with a candle for my mother. In the end...nothing happened and she came up with a check and a dessert menu. I looked at her face trying not to let my mother know about the surprise and the server mentioned that they have a chocolate and another cake in a different flavor pointing at the menu...
I just told everyone we should just pay and leave at that point...
The special occasion that me and my wife prepared for my mother was plain simple ruined this evening.
I really don't recommend this place for family dinners...
The food was just OK. Very limited menu. The drinks were great
Went to Crow before the Ballet. Enjoyed cocktails and dinner. Service was friendly and they were able to get us to PNB on time. Only issue was oysters were not cold but all else was delicious
A dark, romantic spot with attentive, informative and happy service. Creative and delicious menu. This place does fried green tomatoes and donuts with sophistication.
Crow has a small menu but does everything really well. It is not over priced, which is unusual for a good restaurant in Seattle these days. The service, food and cocktails were all excellent. We especially recommend the chicken dish.
Concert at The Key
Still the best chicken ever!
We love this place, food and service are really great. Last time we were surprised by 20% charge in our bill without getting a previous notice . Menus in web are not updated with such information
Very nice. The food was excellent. Got the peach and green bean salad, pan roasted chicken and the hanger steak. Dessert was the blackberry trio. All were very good. It was within walking distance from our hotel . Service was good but not exceptional. Prices were good, not too expensive. Would return and also recommend to friends.
I used OpenTable to book our dinner reservation for 6 but was disappointed to learn that I wouldn’t be getting any points. Wonder why since no explanation was given.
One of our fav neighborhood hangouts. Great food, the wait staff is always attentive and well-informed about the wine and food. We loved the lasagna and the crusty chicken. That sauce on the chicken!
We are visiting Seattle and wanted a great local nearby restaurant, we walked up 5th to Crow from the Seattle Center. Our server was friendly and recommended cocktails and told us about the specials, we got a lovely bottle of wine and cocktails and started with the chees plate. Some os us ordered the lasagna while she warned us it takes about 30 mins to make very much worth the wait. The Fish was a sockeye salmon also delicious. Definitely think this a fabulous place tucked near the Space Needle.
Took a friend there to celebrate his upcoming wedding. Great food, great service, great wine!
It was good
First time to Crow. Great spot if you are heading to a concert at the key. Excellent food. Service was great, friendly and attentive.
The service and food were phenomenal. I had made a special request at the time of reservation (special table) and the request was honored + a really nice surprise to go with it. We'll be back for sure!
Restaurant close to opera house, which makes it very convenient for we opera goers. Food is good, ambiance just fine and service excellent.
This is one of the best restaurants in Seattle. Amazing food and service. And Seth is a rock star bartender!
We had a great time at Crow. There were five of us and we all enjoyed our meals. The Prosciutto chicken was outstanding! The service was excellent, and the vibe was very Seattle. We looked dessert menu and decided to have everything. It was all excellent, I would recommend Crow to anyone.
A limited menu but everything was to perfection. Tasty and beautiful! Service was superb.
Amazing lasagne, peach and bean salad with apricot shortcake for desert.
Crow is located in an interesting spot. We really enjoyed out meal. The atmosphere is low key and the food is good. The Gazpacho was great and the Lasagna was very good.
We were late and in a hurry, frazzled from traffic. The wait staff immediately got me a nice cocktail and a big glass of water, helping lift my mood considerably. She knew I was short on time and guided us on best options for what worked best in our time frame. Food came promptly thereafter. Ribs were tender and sauced with just the right spicey-sweet blend. Salads were fresh and brightly dressed. Lasagna had a light, flavorful tomato sauce with enough meat and cheese to make it feel substantial but not heavy.
Staff was so nice when I called to say we were delayed and would be late - 10pm! Service was quite nice and food terrific - lamb and salmon, perfectly cooked. Might have been louder earlier but noise level (I am sensitive to it) was fine when we were there. Easy to converse. Liked the look, the vibe, the local neighborhood feel.
Still perfect! Always consistent. Great wines to enjoy!
We love this restaurant. A small custom menu with really well prepared foods makes for a great night!
Planned a night out to see a film at SIFF so we decided to try someplace new to us for dinner. First time at Crow and we were both very happy with the experience. My wife had the veggie tart and I had the roast chicken. Flavorful and well-prepared. Service was terrific and the ambiance was good. We’ll definitely be back.
Great food and service, the staff is great!
My husband and I have been coming to Crow for about three years. We visit Seattle from eastern WA about once a year. The lasagne is to die for and the roast chicken is ridiculously good. The wine selection is very good, and the bread/baguette is world-class. We find we can't go wrong here with the food (and can't stop thinking about the lasagne when we're away; I don't even like sausage, but this pasta dish, with sausage, is one of the most delicious recipes on the planet). The food is never disappointing, but the waitresses have always been less than warm and friendly and not very attentive each of the four times we've eaten here. Service is leisurely, and even though they knew it was my birthday at the front desk, the waitress never acknowledged that. Not a big deal. I feel sorry for anyone who doesn't get to eat at Crow. Make a reservation and enjoy!
