In a word - YUMMY.
Good, efficient, and cheerful wait-staff; and tasty offerings for their first brunch. They will keep weekend (possibly Sunday only?) brunch going, and as it is the perfect time of day for us to have a nice meal, we'll be baaack.
Just a few quibbles - they need to IMMEDIATELY invest in a plate-warming device, because some food is just better when kept warm - like . . . the Crab Benedict this morning. Also - watch the timing on the poaching - mine had rather solid yolks, not runny as they should be, so get an egg timer for the kitchen too. Also serving dark food (for example my husband's Monte Cristo delicious breakfast sandwich) is not very attractive when presented on a DARK plate. (And it could have used a bit of garnish too)
Other than that this is a very nice, but somewhat expensive dining experience.
We stopped by for the Executive Chefs brunch they have been advertising and it was awesome. Lots of options - fresh baked muffins, yogurt parfaits, a charcuterie board and breakfast burritos. Can’t wait to come back and check out the burgers and sandwiches!
Passing thru Pismo and had a wonderful dinner at Adas. We split an order of clams in a white wine sauce that was very tasty. I had delicious scallops, pan seared perfectly. My husband enjoyed sand dabs with a lemon and capers sauce. Enjoyed a bread pudding desert with ice cream and a bourbon sauce that was so yummy. The highlight of our dining experience, however, was the service! We sat at a high top in the bar and the bartender waited on us. She was so delightful and friendly. She and another bartender, a nice young man, handled the bar and food service for that area with a calm and easy going manner that was great to see. Would definitely dine here again in the future!
We come to Jockos a lot. We love the food. But this time we had a new waitress that we’ve never had before. Felicia was the very best! She was incredibly kind, and actually was one step ahead of us on everything we wanted. Made for one of the best experiences at Jockos yet! We will definitely be requesting her when we come again!
The food at Rib Line was delicious, especially the ribs and beans. We went on a Thursday evening, during the SLO Farmer's Market time, so the restaurant was not crowded at all. Service was great. Our party of 8 were ready to return again.
