They were very busy. We were there for a fundraiser for the school. So the staff was stretched a little thin. But the food and drinks are always amazing. It's a great place.
We hadn't been to Citrine recently and, while we enjoyed eating there in the past, our recent dinner experience there was the best yet. Food, drinks, and service was great. We will be back.

I chose this restaurant because of the proximity to Brookfield Zoo where I was visiting. Now I would make a special trip to eat here. The food is very thoughtfully prepared and served hot. The waitstaff is friendly and attentive. The tables are not too close. All in all a hidden gem!
Our table was ready at our reservation time and the hostess was prompt and friendly. While our food was very good and the person who brought our food was friendly our server did not seem interested in our table. When she brought our coffee/teas she said let me know when you’re ready. We had to try and find her/wave her down when we were ready to order, finally able to order when she brought a smoothie to one of our group. She never came by with coffee of asked if anyone wanted more. She brought our check and after we were at our table for 1 hour and 10 minutes she told us there was a reservation for our table and the people were waiting. 1 hour and 10 minutes is all we were there and we waited more than 5 minutes to find her to order. Standard time is 1 hour 30 minutes for table time at a service type restaurant. When walking out I saw a table of 8 that had been seated at the same time as were were just sitting and talking and in no hurry to leave. What she did was incredibly rude
