Definitely not an everyday place unless money is no object. But really great for an occasional splurge. The prime rib was the best I have ever had. I had it completely plain. Any kind of addition like mushrooms or horseradish would only detract from the outstanding quality of the meat. I want to try some of the various steaks. I am sure they will all be outstanding. But it is the kind of place I will save for special occasions. So it will take me several years to get a complete sampling. But it’s on my bucket list.

We were there celebrating my sister’s birthday. Nice touch that the menu was printed with “happy birthday” and food was good. My sister spilled her coffee when dessert was served. The waiter was at our table when it happened. We had to ask for some napkins, he did nothing to help clean up and didn’t even bring another cup of coffee, we had to ask. For the class of restaurant, I expected them to be much more attentive and helpful.

I always enjoy going to smack shack. The food is always fresh and delicious. My sisters and I had brunch on Sunday and the crab eggs Benedict was amazing, the lobster bisque was perfect and the avocado toast with shrimp was amazing. It was nice not to be disturbed and we were there for over two hours.

Fantastic food, service, and vibe. Fun drinks too (boozy hot chocolate and great whiskey selection). Only complaint is $15 for a coffee with a splash of Bailey’s, but everything was wonderful.
