The food here is my favorite. Period. The chicken Kiev and Duck Ala Russe were the best I’ve had in NYC. Also had a lovely cranberry ginger drink and the infused vodka is also a treat. Be sure to try the medovik with Russian tea served with cherries for dessert. The atmosphere is comfortable and cozy. The servers are attentive, kind and helpful. This was our second time there and we had a great time.

The food was outstanding as always. I love the fact that the owner is there every night, talking to everyone. It has a real friendly vibe. I go there 4-5 times a year and have never had a problem.

We had a great true New Jersey Italian dinner which is a good thing. Very vibrant atmosphere although it is extremely noisy so talking to your tablemates requires you too to be loud. Since it is so busy, it can take a while to get your food but the quality of the food is great. Extensive wine list with some (but not many) bargains and some very fine wines. Make sure you have reservations because it is a very busy place even mid-week. A DJ was playing old tunes from my generation. If it wasn't so far, I would go back in a heartbeat.
